Liquid Expat took my full fee up front promising me I would have a mortgage offer and then completion within 3-4 months. From this point their level of service was nothing short of disgraceful. Once they had my money it was impossible to get any update as to how my application was progressing. Do not pay any money up front to this company. I ended up £1200 out of pocket and decided to cut my losses with them.

The process was easy, the instructions on what we needed to do were straightforward and the company use different lines to communication (such as whatsapp) to help give timely updates on the application. They made it stress free and actually found us a better rate than most of the high street banks were offering in the end! Given a complex and different situation that we were in I am so grateful for how straight forward and stressfree they made it after a few false starts with other brokers.

I am a South African citizen who recently purchased a property in the UK. Unfortunately it was not a pleasant experience due to major delays caused by the developer however with the assistance of Liquid Expat, we managed to overcome all hurdles and have finally managed to successful complete. As a foreigner, its recommended to utilise the services of a broker such as Liquid Expat to provide the necessary guidance when purchasing in another country. Buying a property as an Expat can be tricky to say the least. Liam, Claire and of course John were incredibly attentive throughout the process. Communication was seamless and even making overseas phonecalls was not too much of a stretch.

John, Claire and Liam made a very complicated and difficult process simpler and easier to navigate. To be honest, I doubt I would have managed to deal with the banks direct being overseas so am very appreciative of the service. The responses were always very prompt and all were well informed and helpful.

It's a challenging process buying a house from a distance and I don't think it would have been possible without the support of Andy, Claire & Liam at Liquid. they walked me through every stage of the process, negotiated a deal with the lender that wasn't on the open market and helped me cross any hurdles that arose as a result of my being a non-resident. communication was excellent and their advice extended well beyond their remit as finance brokers through to completion.

I was a little sceptical about their service initially but they earned every penny of their fees.

I would advocate this kind of professional advice to everyone, I'll certainly be using them in the future.

Philip was thorough and honest. The short correspondence with Liam was productive. However, Claire was 'balshy' and unprofessional in her approach ( perhaps she was only trying to be productive) yet, this attitude led to my solicitor to be less likely to respond in his usual immediate way. Liquid Expats are very professional and productive overall. I think Claire has potential, but needs CPD in customer communication. I hope this is helpful.
