My little boy was lucky enough to have Jill as his speech therapist who he saw at nursery every Friday. Jill made such a big effort with getting to know him and making his sessions fun. She even suggested that his twin sister join in the sessions to help him, which really worked well, and they'd both come home telling me all about the games they'd played. We were given homework to practice and he really progressed with many of his sounds. Although we have left Jill now, they still talk about her. Thank you Jill!

Louise was a pleasure to work with at our setting, She was always professional, reliable and provided a lot of support to staff to enhance the child's needs.

I'm the SENCo at a primary school in north Liverpool. We found we had a lot of children after the Covid lockdowns with significant Speech, Language and Communication difficulties in our EYFS and KS1 classes. We chose to employ a therapist from Liverpool Speech Therapy to work in our school for one day per week. She has been working with our children for 16 months now. We are so glad we made this decision. It has been a real boost for the children to have a SALT specialist working with them and giving them EXACTLY what they need every week. She liaises with me and talks extensively to class teachers, TAs, parents and provides valuable reports and resources for us to use in school and for parents to use at home. Our children have made such good progress and in short... we couldn't ask for more!

Jill has been working with our children for over a year and it has been wonderful to see the progress they have made and their confidence grow. The children thoroughly enjoy their sessions with Jill, especially the Lego therapy. She provides excellent lessons with lots of follow up activities for home and in school and helpful ongoing progress reports. Thank you Jill!

I would highly recommend the Liverpool Speech Therapy team. Jill has been at our school for over a year now and has literally opened up the world by giving children the skills and confidence to communicate. She has developed wonderful relationships with the children and they are always so happy to see her. She makes the activities fun and exciting and therefore they are fully engaged with her. This is reflected in the huge progress that the children make. As well as supporting the children she also shares her expertise and knowledge with the parents and staff, for which I am very grateful! The resources and information that we get each week is fantastic and the children love doing the activities in school. Liverpool Speech Therapy Team provide a wonderful intervention that supports so many children and staff too. The team are always on hand to share their knowledge and expertise to which I personally am very grateful. Children love their visits and are always fully engaged and interacting with their therapist. It’s a joy to see!

Louise has been very professional and extremely helpful - it is clear to see that she is passionate about speech therapy. The sessions she runs are child-friendly and beneficial. Louise has also gone above and beyond to provide support outside of the sessions which has enabled us to support the children we work with.

“Louise” came to Bidston village to join me with my phonics group. Louise suggested lots of ideas such as games, cards and props for my group. Louise has taught me so much over the past few weeks such as different ways I can speak to the children in a way they would understand. I’m very grateful for Louise for being so gentle and helpful teaching alongside me with my group. Me and lots of the staff are so pleased with how Louise has come in and been so helpful. I hope Louise stays with us as she has made such an impact and created great bonds with the children. I can’t thank Louise enough for sharing such great ideas so I can improve my lessons and improve the children’s individual needs.

Louise supports children in our school on a fortnightly basis. She is engaging, experienced, and qualified. We would not hesitate to recommend Louise to any school :-)

Our son loves his sessions, she is so natural at her job and makes the sessions so exciting so she gets his undivided attention.
