LMB Group Reviews

I recently had my loft converted by LMB group Ltd, and I have to say, I am thrilled with the results! From start to finish, the entire process was smooth and hassle-free, thanks to the professionalism and expertise of the team.

The initial consultation was thorough and informative, and the team really took the time to listen to my needs and understand what I wanted to achieve with the space. They provided a detailed quote that was transparent and easy to understand, and there were no hidden costs or surprises along the way.

The construction phase went smoothly, with the team showing up on time each day and working efficiently to get the job done. They were respectful of my home and made sure to keep the work area clean and tidy throughout the process.

The finished product is simply stunning. The loft has been transformed into a beautiful, functional space that perfectly suits my needs. The workmanship is of the highest quality, and I have no doubt that the conversion will stand the test of time.

Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my loft conversion and would highly recommend LMB group Ltd to anyone looking for a high-quality, professional loft conversion service."

There are a lot of reviews that aren’t genuine. They’re not fake reviews - but they’re not from genuine customers.

I recognise some of these names from other works I’ve had done.

This annoys me because my experience with LMB was so poor. To have the audacity to doctor reviews to make things look better than they seem is just plain wrong.

Lee is out for himself and will do whatever it takes to get your money. The structure of his payments means he’s got his money without making any real commitment to completing your job. You’re reliant on the goodwill of the contractors whom of course have to get paid themselves, so they’ll do what the have to in order to get what they want. Lee leans on his good relationship with his build control affiliate to make sure works are passed so you have little to know argument about the work that has been done. Unfortunately, I was never asked what I do or who I work for, so Lee has no idea how closely I work with numerous BC organisations up and down the country.

Let’s not mention some of the cowboy tradesmen he uses. I say use and not employ because he doesn’t employ hardly anyone of his trades, they are mostly subcontractors which I was lied to about. Word of advice Lee - you should advise the people you send in to be a quieter on the phone when they are in someone’s home if you want your business practices to be kept secret.

I could go into much more detail regarding my build but in summary, do not and I repeat DO NOT use LMB for your loft. They’ll speed through the work and give you a subpar finish. Lee will harass you for money and threaten to cease works if he’s not paid. And mostly likely, you’ll have to employ more trades to fix things once LMB has been and gone, like I’m doing right now.

You have been warned.

My Wife and I chose LMB to build our side dormer and we're very happy with the results! The new build looks amazing on the inside and out and has made so much more space.
The whole project took a little longer than expected to complete and as didn't go without it's share of stress and disruption but the results are fantastic and well worth it.
Lee Teeley, the project manager, always made himself available to discuss any concerns we had and took a great deal of pride in his work to get things done at a high standar and having a WhatsApp group to get daily updates from all the trades was useful.

Excellent experience, Whatsapp group and project manager Ollie kept everthing connected and running smoothly, all trades people executed excellent work an were very professional

My wife and I were actually leafleted by LMB (didn’t think that stuff actually worked) after our planning application was accepted.

The initial build was finished quickly (inside 3 months) and to a very high standard. The workmen were respectful and did a great job. We were able to live in the property throughout (with a baby). The project definitely required a lot of additional project management from my side (I’m a perfectionist), but ultimately we are very happy with the outcome. We had a few hiccups along the way, but having done 2 loft projects before, I can say this was to be expected.

We made our last payment before all the snags were finished, but I was never concerned that they would ghost us, even if something else went wrong. In fact, once the tin hat came down, we found one of our windows had a leak - to LMBs credit they have since sent numerous tradesmen back to facilitate a fix. The scaffolding has stayed up, to allow access. All at their expense. Only thing left is for the scaffolding to come down and for the final tidy up. WhatsApp group really helped with communication.

For such a big financial commitment, it is really difficult to give the greenlight to anyone, but overall, if you are thinking about using a company, LMB did a great job, stayed communicative and delivered an excellent end product.

We used LMB for our dormer loft conversion, my partner and I are very happy with the result. The price we were quoted was very competitive, and the quality of workmanship from the contractors used was high.

The project wasn’t without a few setbacks. It took much longer to get started and complete than anticipated. And knowing when contractors were coming and going was a bit unpredictable and required a bit of chasing from us. Thankfully this was less of an issue as one of us is usually working from home and we weren’t working to strict timings.

We found the WhatsApp group set up between us, LMB, and the trade people very useful. And the weekly calls with the team was helpful to feedback and get updates.

Despite the odd challenges, we are very happy with the work and the help from LMB on our lovely new loft.

LMB have completed a high quality loft conversion and kept to our payment schedule throughout. We are very pleased with all staff members especially our project manager.

LMB started our loft conversion as agreed and we were kept updated throughout the build. The different teams (scaffolders, roofers, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, tilers) exceeded our expectations in ensuring the work was finished to a very high standard, whilst listening to our preferences.
The build was during the winter and although the weather was unforgiving, the LMB team pushed on to get things finished.
We are very pleased with the finished loft conversion and are hugely grateful to Lee (Project Manager) and LMB for providing us with a first-class service.

If you're looking to get a loft conversion look no further than LMB. Having recently completed works, the process was seamless throughout and we're absolutely delighted with our new space finished to a high quality. Communication was good throughout and all staff were very respectful and friendly. Special mention to our Project Manager Lee who was always on hand to answer our many queries and requests!

Overall excellent service and end product! The work was completed in the given timescale, to a high standard and within budget!

It was a pleasure to work with these guys. They have started few days later than promised, but that’s ok, as they were finishing another job.
Work they’ve done was very high standard and highly rated by building control, guys were very polite, professional, commited and helpfull

Highly recommend these guys and have already recommended on to friends of ours
Thanks again LMB extremely happy!

We had an L shaped loft conversion done by LMB. Adding a master bedroom and en-suite bathroom to our house. We also had the entire house redecorated. They did a great job at a competitive price. We are thrilled with the result. There were a couple of issues along the way, which were all resolved promptly. The tradesmen were professional and polite. We would recommend them.

LMB built our beautiful loft over seven years ago but recently we had a very minor problem with the roof. I phoned the owner Lee Murphy who arranged a roofer to do the necessary repairs free of charge under their 10 year guarantee.Great service, thanks Lee!!

Would highly recommend LMB Group ! My project was finished on time with high quality standard, there was always great communication between myself and project manager/company. Lee Murphy was always ready to answer all my queries. Builders were tidy and professional, all trades were work to high standard.
Trustworthy and worth recommending company.
Will definitely use them again for future projects and recommend to all friend and family.
Great company, people and very reasonably price.

I was Introduced to Lee and the LMB team in 2022 having work throughout London for more than 12 years designing and planning lofts for the public and various other Contractors

From planning to completion. Very professional

LMB designed and built hip to gamble loft conversion for us. I was recommended LMB by a neighbour who had already had a similar project completed by the company. The team were knowledgeable, pleasant, reliable and very easy to communicate with. Our project manager Lee kept everything well organised in terms of deliveries of supplies and coordinating trades so the project ran smoothly without unnecessary delays. The completed work is to a high standard that we are very happy with. The price of the loft conversion was reasonable as well as processing time.

I am so glad I chose LMB, the service was second to none all the way through. They kept me updated at every stage and the work was absolutely beautiful. I am recommending to anyone who will listen as I am so happy with the final results.

We are really happy with our final loft extention. We've been in it a few months and it feels like it's always been part of the house. The team we worked with had some great suggestions about room layout on site that have given us 2 well proportioned rooms and a bathroom.
