Great style, craftsmanship and a good fit. I choose Loake because of the consistent quality.

I bought a pair of Loake Gilbert nubuck leather chukka boots from Brook Taverner.
The boots arrived with the correct packaging - tissue paper in the toes, blue cloth, branded box, etc.
Unfortunately, both boots did not have any insoles.
The Gilbert range is made in India rather than the UK.
I contacted Brook Taverner customer services and sent photo's (as requested).
I was offered £15.00 towards the cost of insoles - or a replacement pair of boots.
I decided to accept the £15.00 and bought a pair of insoles in Timpsons.
It's disappointing that the branded insoles were missing in a new premium pair of boots.
This is something that should have been identified by quality control before the boots left the factory.

Sent me a used pie of shoes sold as new and no apologies or compensation.
Poor customer service.

My order of shoe-care items arrived a day early, nicely packed and were all as described. I can’t praise Loakes highly enough - great high quality foot wear and great service.

I bought my Look Aldridge’s at Livingstons Gentlemen’s outfitters and tailors in Castle Douglas. Which in itself was a fantastic experience. The shoes fit like a glove straight out of the box. However after a few outing they have gotten even better, to the point even after a full nights dancing my feet were comfortable and fresh. What more can I say I’m convinced it’ll be loakes on my feet for a long time to come.

Purchased a pair of navy suede bannister shoes circa 12 months ago. The laces have broken. I’ve looked online and visited a Loake store to be told they don’t sell replacement laces for this shoe. Loake customer services have not replied to an email.

Having looked on Amazon and been to a couple of shoe shops laces in the exact colour / style don’t seem to exist. This is disappointing when Loake advertise their shoe durability and there is still life left in the shoes I purchased however they are useless with no laces.

My oh my… I’ve got a couple of pairs of Loake brogues but wanted to switch my work wardrobe to a less formal look.. out with the 3-piece suits and in with the chinos and button down shirts and jacket.. I wanted some boots and these Chatsworth dark brown suede are simply the best piece of footwear I now own. G fit is perfect and the style is pure ‘on trend’ .. one very satisfied customer

Loake is always a 5*, I own a few shoes already and now slippers too. Next on the list to get are sandals and trainers and other will be Loake.

Lovely colour, quality and design for a casual shoe to wear with jeans.

I've bought from Loake before and had the boots sent to my home in the USA. This time I had them sent to my UK address. The shoes - the new Belgium loafer - arrived in good time and I liked them so much I immediately ordered another pair. Cheers. MW

Love the boots, my new favorite pair

Appalling customer service.
I've had several pairs of ​L​oake boots over ​t​he years​, but recently had a pair bought for me as a gift, worn them a few times, but the quality has really gone downhill and the internal footbeds are faulty, Loake customer service surprisingly rude and are refusing to even look at them.
As such they have lost my custom​. Avoid this company like the plague!

I am very satisfied and grateful to Loake; they have always delivered all my purchases on time. This is my fourth pair of loafers that they have shipped to Costa Rica in less than a year. The loafers and Chelsea boots I have purchased from them have been of excellent quality and comfort.

All very efficient. Unfortunately shoe opening not large enough.
