Local Treasures Reviews

An excellent and much needed service for the older people in our lives. Our mum’s lovely companion is making a real difference in her life (and ours!)

I left a request and in 30 mins I had a call from Terry who came and did the job the next day.

Excellent work carried out. I would definitely recommend Local Treasures.

I needed a domestic cleaning service which was booked through Local Treasures. Sadly the cleaner cancelled on me at the last minute, however, I am very impressed with how the company handled this. Within 20 minutes, an alternate cleaner was sent to do the job, which was completed to a very high standard. So, very well managed unforeseen situation by Dave at Local Treasures. I would highly recommend and am very likely to use the company and their services again.

A broken roller blind needed replacing, a new one was bought and installed by a very skilled craftsman a totally positive experience using Local Treasures for the first time

After a hospital stay my parent ( aged 93), who lives independently was clearly going to need some extra support. However they did not need "carers" and cleaners were already in place. What was needed was a "stand in" for 3 daughters who all live over 170 miles away- someone who can do little jobs, smooth the way, ease the little anxieties and, from the family's perspective, have reassuring "eyes on" the general situation. " 2 Treasurers were matched with my parent and they alternate a weekly visit. Both are different and both are lovely and have won my parent over to the concept of "help".

Very speedy appointment. Friendly and efficient operative.

Treasure was promptm friendly and did a good job.

So glad I found Local Treasures! I had an urgent job which I needed sorted the next day. Within 20 minutes of posting the job, I had a reply saying my Local Treasure tradesperson would contact me. Not only did he contact me, he showed up at 9am sharp the next day! Very impressed with the service received - he did a few extra jobs in the time allocated and was a wealth of information about the other small things I could tackle myself.

I will definitely use Local Treasures in the future and recommend the service to everyone.

Once again you sent me a polite and competent trades man, thank you

Professional, friendly and helpful , cannot fault the service I received

Quick response and job completed brilliantly

The third time we have used Local Treasures and the third time we've been impressed with their communication and the quality, timeframe and affordability of the work done. Thank you!

I was awaiting a 10 or 15 year guarantee on the goods I bought, I asked after I paid, but heard nothing from the builder, so went to the company he said he would ask mark still no reply, as I paid the company direct I can’t go to the place of purchase supposedly walfords builders merchants. Be very wary before you part with your money and make sure you see what you are buying on delivery as the photo was one thing but what arrived was something very different.

I have used Local Treasures on several occasions in recent years; mainly arranging for cleaners for my elderly neighbours and the personnel they have sent have proved to be very satisfactory. On this latest occasion they sent a gardener who was knowledgeable about plants and he was very good and comfortable to have around. I have given four stars because if I have a criticism it would be that their payment method could be streamlined. Despite providing payment details beforehand it was very long winded.

Efficient responsive service leading to a successful outcome.

Very quick response and good communications. The job I needed doing was arranged within a day with great result.

not a good tradesperson not good at their job

My treasure turned up on time and did the job required adequately.
