Lock mechanism shell only
This product was useless as it doesn't come with the latch or deadbolt latch. Even the locksmith said the same thing.why would you sell just the shell? I asked for a exchange for a full part, they sent me a link for 45 when I said 35, which be no good to me. In the end the locksmith got the full part from elsewhere and told me to return mines back. They also charged me £5.40 for returning the item, even thou I paid the postage for return. I don't recommend this company. You only see so much good reviews as they give you discount on your next order.

We’re sorry you were disappointed, however we would like to clarify what happened with this order.
The item originally ordered, MILPROSLAVE35, is a passive/slave gearbox mechanism and is supplied as shown. It is not a complete main-door gearbox with a latch and deadbolt. The item supplied was therefore the correct product for the part number ordered.
When you contacted us asking for the complete version, our team provided a link to the 45mm complete gearbox. This was not because we had overlooked your request for 35mm; unfortunately, there is no 35mm version of that complete gearbox available, so the 45mm version was the closest available option.
As this was unsuitable for your door, you were advised how to return the original item. As the original item had been correctly supplied and was not faulty, return postage was the customer’s responsibility.
We appreciate this was frustrating, but we do feel it is important to clarify that an incomplete or incorrect product was not supplied.

Replacement for old style door latch.
The lever operated latch and deadbolt was bought to replace the original on a 30+ years old PVC door which had become extremely floppy, The replacement was a perfect match and fitting was straightforward and took me less than 20 minutes. The new latch and deadbolt work perfectly and are of a very good quality, so my door is set for another 30+ years. I shall recommend it to anyone who says their door handle has begun to blow about in the wind.
It was easy to find on line and ensure it was the right fit, the price was surprisingly good and delivery was very prompt. Excellent service, thank you.
