The staff were all really kind and helpful, I felt well looked after, well informed and safe in their hands before, during and after my surgery.

I recently had surgery at The Welbeck Hospital on 5th August, and I wanted to take the opportunity to say a huge thank you to the incredible team who looked after me.

From the moment I arrived, the care I received was absolutely exceptional. The nurses were amazing — kind, attentive, reassuring and incredibly professional. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they made what could have been a daunting experience feel calm, comfortable and completely cared for.

I would particularly like to make sure that the nursing staff who were working and caring for me on 5th August receive a special mention. Every single one of them was absolutely brilliant, and their warmth, patience and genuine compassion made such a difference to my experience.

The standard of care at The Welbeck was outstanding from start to finish, but it was the people who really made the experience so positive.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in my care, and especially to those wonderful nurses. You are an absolute credit to TheFive-star care and an experience I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

I recently had a one-night post-operative stay at the Welbeck hospital, and I cannot praise the care I received highly enough. From start to finish, the entire medical team made me feel safe, comfortable, and well looked after during a vulnerable time. I want to extend my deepest gratitude to my surgeon. Their exceptional skill, professionalism, and reassuring manner before and after the procedure gave me total confidence and peace of mind. A very special thank you goes to the ward staff, particularly Nurse Mabil, who looked after me during the night shift. Nurse Mabil was absolutely outstanding, attentive, deeply compassionate, and incredibly diligent. She anticipated my needs, managed my post-op comfort perfectly, and brought a wonderful warmth to the night shift that made all the difference in my recovery. Thank you to everyone involved for providing such excellent, high-quality care.

I had surgery with Dr Miles Berry and I couldn’t fault anything! Dr Berry was amazing and so friendly and talked me through everything! The anaesthesiologist was so friendly and came and spoke to me before hand and every nurse that looked after me was amazing! I couldn’t fault anything!
When I came back to get my bandages off I was meant to be seen at 3:25pm but waited almost an hour, although this was a little frustrating a lovely lady did come out and say they had to deal with another patient and apologised for the wait which made me feel a lot better. Helen was so gentle when taking my bandages off and spoke me through the next part of healing and answered any questions I had in detail.
I will definitely recommend The Welbeck Hospital to others!

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the staff who cared for me during my hospital stay. Everyone was kind, compassionate, and professional, making me feel comfortable and well looked after throughout my time in the hospital.

The doctors, nurses, and support staff took the time to explain everything clearly, answered my questions patiently, and treated me with dignity and respect. Their dedication and teamwork were evident, and I truly appreciated the high standard of care I received.

Absolutely lovely hospital, the staff and the nurses are so lovely and helpful any time you need them. Everything was spotless and comfortable, I couldn’t have asked for a better recovery from my surgery done with my talented surgeon and his team. Thank you all.

I recently was in Welbeck for an overnight stay , the care I received was second to none it was fabulous , lovely clean and in this recent heat wave was so cool in there , everything I needed and was given was fabulous , all the nurses and staff were wonderful , Joanna my daytime nurse and Lucy my night nurse was so kind considerate and caring and they cared for me impeccably , big thank you to everyone x

Prompt and reassuring experience

Dr. Andrew Douglas is a highly skilled surgeon. His approach was thoughtful, realistic, and reassuring. He worked meticulously to improve my condition from both functional and aesthetic perspectives. The staff at the LWH are professional and friendly.

My one night stay went very smoothly, the nurses were all lovely - helpful and friendly. The food was good, and the room was comfortable.

I can't thank everyone at The Welbeck Hospital enough for the exceptional care I received. I have severe hospital, needle and blood phobias, and from the moment I arrived, every member of staff treated me with such kindness, patience and understanding. They went out of their way to accommodate my anxieties, making what would normally be an incredibly stressful experience feel so much more manageable.
The hospital itself is immaculate, with a calm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. Every member of the team was professional, compassionate and genuinely caring, taking the time to explain everything and ensuring I felt comfortable throughout.
I honestly couldn't have asked for better care. If you're feeling anxious about treatment or have similar fears, I can't recommend The Welbeck Hospital highly enough. Thank you to everyone for making such a difficult experience so much easier.

I was only here as a day patient but the care I received from all the staff welst being here was honestly amazing! So helpful and polite! So kind to me and understood everything I needed! Would highly recommend! And if I was to ever have any other procedure I would definitely come here again! Thankyou so much for everything

A wonderful experience at The London Welbeck Hospital. The staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and professional, making me feel comfortable and well looked after throughout. Dr Marcellino was excellent—approachable, caring, and highly professional. Thank you to the whole team for your outstanding care and support.

Incredibly efficient , communicative and put me at ease for my first long operation. They were gentle and kind which was very appreciative and ensured I was well looked after.

All of the staff were so kind and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, everything ran so smooth and on time with no waiting around. The aftercare was immaculate and I’d recommend anyone thinking about going there to go there. Thank you for the great experience xxx

The nurses here are angels. They’re all so kind, supportive and helpful with your healing. They’re always at hand for anything you need, day or night. Even therapy at 2am discussing things on your mind. I can’t fault them. I’m so thankful to all of them and highly recommend the hospital. Thank you!
