Excellent service being a remote area of Scotland we struggle a lot with getting materials delivered but that wasn’t a problem from LSD not only were there prices reasonable but delivery was easy and reliable, we were kept in touch from ordering right through to delivery morning. Would highly recommend LSD and would definitely use again

Professional Service from start to finish
I was struggling to buy the individual porcelain slabs (most places only doing project packs) until I found LSD. The ordering process was simple and the communication was excellent. The day after I placed my order I had a phone call to arrange delivery. My order was with me four days after placing the order and the delivery driver was very helpful. The product arrived well packed and LSD order was the extra slabs I needed to complete my patio being laid.

Delivery had been promised via crane (as before) but turned out to be via trolley. Access was difficult for this reason.
The driver was not instructed to contact me on the day of delivery to confirm. This did not happen.

I would like to sincerely apologise for the delay with your order. The Croftstone walling is supplied directly from Marshalls, and as one of their online retailers, we rely on them to arrange delivery. Unfortunately, they were awaiting new stock, which extended the lead time by an additional week.
We had also requested delivery via a crane vehicle; however, as Marshalls manage the logistics, the final decision on whether to use a crane lorry or a courier is made by them. Unfortunately, we were not informed in advance which option would be used for your delivery. In addition, we always request that drivers contact customers before arrival, but because a third-party courier was used, this sadly did not happen on this occasion.
I am very sorry for the inconvenience and frustration caused. I will be speaking with our Marshalls representative to understand how we can improve communication and service moving forward, so we can keep customers better informed throughout the process.
I am pleased to hear the delivery was ultimately completed successfully.

I’m very sorry that you did not receive a response sooner. I have located your email in our sales email spam folder, which explains the delay.
In our communications, we do ask customers to contact us via our customer service email address. Additionally, the sample ordering page notes that only one sample of each stone can be ordered. This is due to the natural variation in stone, where tones and colours can differ significantly. To fully appreciate the range, it is often necessary to view multiple paving slabs, as samples are intended only to give a general indication and often come from the same paving slab.
We had requested three samples from our supplier just in case, but unfortunately, only one was provided. This was dispatched to you as soon as we received it. At that point, we should have processed a refund for the additional samples; however, this was overlooked, and only the sample was sent.
Please accept our apologies for this oversight. I will arrange your refund immediately.

Efficient, high standards and communicative
LSD undertook a medium sized garden landscaping job for us. It was tough work but all done incredibly efficiently and well.
From the outset Alex, Kris and the team were very responsive, listened to what we wanted, were patient with a few changes of mind along the way and quick to get things done.
The team were always courteous and left things tidy. Crucially, everyone was communicative and responsive - vital when you’re managing a project.
The workmanship was of excellent quality and the finished garden looks fantastic. I would recommend the team
highly.

Friendly and helpful.
Friendly, helpful, and competitively quoting without having been advised of competition’s quotations. They also included VAT in their quotation which isn’t always clear with other company’s quotations. But above all else, we were able to talk to a real person !

Easy to order
Easy to order. Was promptlyinformed about the order and its progress via email. Detailed information about the order, what to expect to happen when delivered and what to do was explained in detail. Good range of products.
Following the delivery of paving slabs, I contacted LSD on live chat as I felt the images on their site and the description of the colour of the slabs did not represent the colour of the slabs I received. They were easy to contact and quick to respond. Despite the difference in colour expectations I have given the company 5 stars for their customer service and the quality of the product.
