Madspeed7 Reviews

Madspeed continue to provide wheels in all sorts of obscure configurations and the wheels are great. Fast service, I have had 3 different sets over the past couple of years and I am really please with them.

Wheels arrived in good time and were packaged very well. The wheels are outstanding and perform extremely well, light, fast and the sound of the hub is great. I fitted these to a full steel cyclocross frame and they make the ride quality unbelievable. Very fast, well built, great price, 100% recommend.

Easy website to navigate.
Product arrived well packaged and on time.
Product (rim brake 26" with freewheel speed) looks solid.

I used the 'contact us' facility to ask for advice. madspeed replied promptly and helped me to select the correct rear wheel and freewheel to replace my broken one. Although out of stock, they contacted me 2 weeks later when they were available. Fantastic service - thank you!
I am also very happy with the product.

I recently ordered a 650B disc wheel for a mountain bike. I have to say I was very impressed with the quality of the wheel for the money I paid. The freehub and wheel bearings were nice and smooth. The double walled rim is good quality. There was a quality feel about the whole wheel. I would recommend these wheels as an affordable quality wheel for any bike.

I ordered the wheels on a Friday afternoon and they were delivered first thing on Tuesday morning. I got them to replace the wheels that were fitted to the Hybrid I bought in mid 2021 the back one of which gave way as a result of metal fatigue after a little under 8000 miles. I looked at lots of retailers and it seemed that move to boost hubs and through axles is almost complete whereas I needed QR and 100mm/135mm hubs. The wheels I found at Madspeed7 seemed exactly what I wanted and they had good reviews. Before I fitted them I got the technician at my local bike shop to look and give me his opinion which was positive. He also confirmed that the Schwalbe Marathon Plus 38mm I ride on ought to pose no problem for the rims which are slightly narrower than the ones that came fitted on the bike. I have taken the bike out a couple of times since fitting them and not encountered any problems at all, the wheels spin well and true and the free hub is not excessively noisy when free wheeling. I average approx. 3500 miles a year on minor and single track roads with some gravel stretches in the East Midlands. I wanted to feel confident that the wheels I bought would cope with the conditions I encounter and I believe that these will.

So far so good arrived on time and a good price I will use you again

Fast & smooth - just what you want in a wheel. Delivery quick. Highly recommend Madspeed7

Super efficient. Excellent price. Very quick delivery and well packaged.

This review follows a third purchase of the same set of wheels.
We have two bikes in the household which are in use most days just commuting to work and back. After the manufacturer wheels gave up (Bontrager and Giant wheels) I came across Madspeed.
The 700c wheelset were very low price compared other well known brands so took a punt on them.
The wheels arrive well packaged, with skewers and a couple of spare spokes.
Front wheels for both are still going strong with no issues at all.
The freehub on my rear wheel has given up after 6000Km or riding. At first I noticed some play in the cassette which causing the chain to catch, then the cassette would turn but not the wheel, I assume the pawls in the hub have either broken or are sticking down rather than springing up, when I've more time I may look to replace just the hub but lacking in time and needing the bike daily I've chosen to replace the wheel. At the price they are this is an easy choice for me.

Super fast delivery and the wheels are great, excellent value for the money.

Great quality 29er wheelset which arrived on next day delivery. 5 star service .

Great product brilliant service

Customer service was outstanding and communication excellent. I received an email response to my query on a Sunday evening, ordered on Monday and the wheels arrived, well packaged, on Tuesday.

A Testament to Unwavering Quality and Service

Having been a loyal customer of Madspeed7 since 2021, I've had the pleasure of purchasing multiple wheelsets for my bikes over the years. Each transaction, including my most recent one has only solidified my trust and satisfaction with their products and services.

Beyond the products themselves, Madspeed7's customer service is exemplary. Most recently, they assisted me with acquiring thru-axle end caps for my last set of wheels. Their responsiveness and willingness to help were as prompt and efficient as ever, making the process seamless and stress-free.

Over the years, my experiences with Madspeed7 have only grown more positive. From the quality and performance of their wheelsets to their exceptional customer service, Madspeed7 stands out as a company dedicated to their craft and their customers. Whether you're a long-time cyclist or new to the sport, I cannot recommend Madspeed7 enough. Their products and service have consistently exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to continuing to support them in the future.

Madspeed provided me with accurate technical support before ordering; correctly fitting my cassette to hub. Ordering on website was simple and straight forward with a choice of payment options.
Speedy delivery arriving early. Item was well packed & protected. Fitted 4 months ago on a hybrid e-bike being used for my daily commute of 22 miles to place of work through the winter, running very smoothly will be purchasing from Madspeed in the future and easily recommend.

Really fast delivery and wheels much smarter than expected, managed to fit 30c tyres on them only had a quick ride but they feel really smooth. Very satisfied especially for the price.

Needing new wheels for my Bianchi Intenso disc, had a problem finding wheels with a 135mm rear thru axle but after getting in touch with Madspeed and exchanging several emails and photos pleased to say Madspeed came up trumps with a very reasonably priced pair of wheels. They look great on the bike with the black spokes, shiny steel nipples and new tyres, thanks very much for all your help at Madspeed. Believe these were the first time they had sold this size of wheelset.

Super helpful changing order, when I changed my mind halfway through .
Highly recommended....
