I recently had surgery (tummy tuck, breast lift with implant, 360lipo) with Dr. Malik Abacı, and I felt it was important to share my experience in detail for anyone considering him.

From the very beginning, Dr. Abacı stood out for his calm and reassuring manner. Surgery is never a small decision, and naturally I had a lot of questions and concerns, but he took the time to explain everything clearly and honestly. I never felt rushed or dismissed, which made a huge difference in building trust. He has a very grounded and professional approach, while still being genuinely kind and approachable.

On the day of the procedure, everything was well organised and smooth. The team around him were also supportive and attentive, which reflected well on his practice as a whole. What I appreciated most was how confident yet careful he was — it never felt like he was just “going through the motions,” but rather that he was focused on achieving the best possible outcome.

Post-surgery care has been equally important, and I’ve felt well looked after during recovery. He remained accessible for follow-ups and guidance he visited me every day during my hotel stay which is something that really matters when you’re healing. His instructions were clear, and I felt reassured knowing I could rely on his advice. The hotel was a clean and reliable place to stay for post surgery.

In terms of results, I am overall very happy. Healing is a process, and I’m still mindful of that, but I can already see the quality of his work. What stands out most is that the results look natural rather than overdone, which was very important to me.

If I had to summarise my experience, I would say Dr. Malik Abacı is a surgeon you can trust. He combines professionalism with genuine care, and that balance is not always easy to find. I felt safe in his hands, and that peace of mind is invaluable when undergoing any kind of procedure.

Dr. Mailik is an excellent surgeon, and I cannot recommend him enough. I have already had two surgeries with him, and each time the experience has been outstanding—from pre-op to post-op care, including my results. I had chin liposuction and buccal fat removal with Dr Malik Abaci and honestly the whole experience has been really positive. The booking process was simple and I was given all the information I needed beforehand. I had looked into quite a few different doctors, hospitals and clinics but what stood out with Dr Abaci was how straightforward and genuine the communication felt. I was given clear answers to my questions without any pressure or sales tactics, which really put me at ease. His assistant was also quick, professional and very helpful, which made the whole process run smoothly. The price was fair and after reading reviews and checking everything over I felt confident going ahead, even though booking surgery abroad can feel a bit scary at first.

A few days before I travelled from the UK to Turkey, Dr Abaci checked in with me and gave me more details, which reassured me even further. When I arrived at the clinic it was spotless and professional. We went through my expectations, signed the forms and got started. I had local anaesthetic so I was awake during the procedure and I was very nervous, but both Dr Abaci and his assistant were so attentive. They talked me through each step as it happened which kept me calm and comfortable.

I could see the results straight away and even though it has only been a week since surgery I am already so happy with the difference. Before I left Istanbul I had a post op check to make sure I was fit to fly and I was given all the documents I might need for the airline. Since then, his assistant has kept in touch and has been really quick to answer any questions I have had during recovery.

Thank you so much to Dr Malik Abaci and his team. It is still early days but I already feel really glad I chose to go ahead with this surgery. I will also come back and do a follow up review in a few months once the swelling has completely gone and I can share my final results.

I had liposuction and breast reduction with implants with Dr. Abaci in February 2025. I waited a year and a half to write this review, hoping things would improve. Unfortunately, they didn’t — and I now feel it’s my duty to warn others.

Before the surgery, I asked if it would be safer to split the procedure into separate stages, fearing it might be too invasive. The assistant told me it wasn’t necessary and reassured me that everything would go smoothly. I trusted them. I flew to Istanbul, putting my health and my body in their hands — and it turned out to be a devastating mistake.

The post-op care was superficial and careless. I stayed in a hotel where the doctor came for quick daily check-ins. When I developed a fever, they didn’t even use a thermometer — just touched my forehead with their hand. They changed my antibiotics without performing any tests. I also asked for a copy of the consent forms I had signed before the procedure and never received them.

To make matters worse, I had paid for a hotel with breakfast and proper post-op accommodations, but they sent me to a lower-quality place, where there was no food included at all — no breakfast, no access to meals suited for a recovering patient. I had to pay for every meal out of pocket, and the food was absolutely inadequate for someone healing from major surgery.

They also told me that the indentations on my abdomen would fade with time. They didn’t. I still have deep, permanent grooves that make my stomach look uneven and deformed. I had clearly said I didn’t want visible or excessive scarring on my breasts. Had I known the result, I would have never gone through with the surgery. Now, I’m left with harsh, disfiguring breast scars that make me feel deeply uncomfortable in my own body.

Shortly after I flew back home, I was rushed to the hospital. My hemoglobin had dropped to 5, I had a pulmonary embolism, a serious infection, and breast tissue necrosis. I was hospitalized for two weeks, required urgent blood transfusions, and it took almost two months to begin recovering. I had to take medication for more than a year.

When I informed the clinic, their response was appalling. They didn’t believe I had an embolism, said my doctors were overreacting, and took no accountability whatsoever. No support. No empathy.

This experience destroyed more than just my physical appearance — it impacted my mental health, my business, and my family. I had to shut down my business for two months, losing precious income. I was in pain, panic, and deep anxiety. My husband had to drive two hours daily to see me in the hospital, while still managing his job. Our relationship suffered. Even now, I can’t go to the beach without feeling ashamed and anxious.

They offered a revision surgery — but I would never, ever let this team touch my body again.

This surgery was supposed to make me feel more confident. Instead, it left me traumatized and scarred — physically and emotionally.
Please be careful. Your body deserves real care, not empty promises.

In response to your empty justifications — nothing you say can ever justify what happened to me:

Yes, I had multiple procedures. But that doesn’t justify a scar across my chest, a deformed abdomen, and everything I went through. It’s true I didn’t ask via chat to split the areas, but I brought it up in person right before surgery — and the doctor didn’t even know I was having my legs and face done. He just said, “It’s all fine.” But I’m the patient, not the surgeon. It was his job to evaluate, not mine.

I’m not here to reply point by point. I shared MY experience — real and painful. I don’t care if it went well for my sister or a hundred others. I live with the outcome on MY body every day. A failed surgery that left both physical and emotional scars. I could say much more, but I’ll stop here.

I recently underwent a transformative journey with Dr. Malik for liposuction, an arm tuck, and breast augmentation with implants — and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience.

From the very beginning, the care and support were outstanding. Jim, Dr. Malik’s coordinator, was incredibly responsive and supportive throughout the whole process. No matter how many questions I had (and there were many!), he was always there with clear, timely answers, which made everything feel smooth and stress-free.

Dr. Malik himself is truly exceptional. What stood out to me the most was how much he genuinely cares about his patients. He takes the time to listen — really listen — to your concerns, goals, and preferences. That level of attentiveness and emotional intelligence is rare and deeply appreciated. I never felt rushed or overlooked; instead, I felt heard and respected every step of the way.

A special shoutout also goes to Beyza, the surgical nurse. She was friendly, kind, and incredibly supportive throughout my surgical experience. Her calm and compassionate presence made a world of difference during a very vulnerable time.

Overall, this journey exceeded my expectations — not just in the results, but in the care, communication, and professionalism of the entire team. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Malik and his team to anyone considering cosmetic surgery. They’re not only skilled but also human — and that combination is gold.

Lebensgefährlich, verantwortungslos und traumatisierend – niemals wieder!

Im Mai 2023 habe ich mich bei Dr. Malik mehreren Eingriffen gleichzeitig unterzogen. Ich hatte Bedenken und fragte ihn im Vorfeld explizit, ob dies gesundheitlich vertretbar sei – er bejahte dies ohne Zögern. Es folgten eine Kinnfettabsaugung, Entfernung des Buccalfetts aus den Wangen, eine 360°-BBL sowie Fettabsaugungen an Armen, Bauch, Rücken und den inneren Oberschenkeln. Zusätzlich wurde mir versprochen, dass mein Bauch mit VASER-Liposuktion oder J-Plasma gestrafft wird – was schlichtweg nicht durchgeführt wurde.

Ich wollte lediglich einen schön geformten, weiblich proportionierten Po. Stattdessen hat Dr. Malik mit voller Absicht Fett an völlig unpassende Stellen injiziert, insbesondere an meine Seiten – was zu einem grotesken, unnatürlichen Körperbild führte. Niemand sieht so aus: überbreite Hüften, dazu knochige, dünne Beine – ein absolutes Missverhältnis. Ich fühle mich seitdem körperlich und psychisch entstellt.

Ein weiterer absolut inakzeptabler Punkt: Es fand kein einziges persönliches Vorgespräch mit dem Arzt statt. Ich kam aus Deutschland angereist und habe – wie selbstverständlich – angenommen, dass nach der WhatsApp-Kommunikation noch ein ausführliches Aufklärungsgespräch vor Ort erfolgen wird. Doch ich sah Dr. Malik erst 30 Sekunden vor meiner Operation – und selbst da war keine Rede von einer echten Aufklärung oder einer sicheren ärztlichen Einschätzung. Ist das normal? Nein, es ist verantwortungslos und hochgradig gefährlich.

Eine weitere schwerwiegende Nebenwirkung war eine viermonatige Fazialparese (Gesichtslähmung) infolge der Kinnfettabsaugung – der Arzt hat offenbar einen Nerv verletzt. Meine Mundwinkel waren stark verzogen, ich konnte nicht richtig sprechen, essen oder unter Menschen gehen. Diese Zeit war für mich extrem traumatisierend.

Darüber hinaus kam es zu einem lebensbedrohlichen Blutverlust: Mein Hb-Wert sank von 14 auf 4, ohne dass in Istanbul überhaupt Blutwerte kontrolliert worden wären. Zurück in Deutschland kam ich sofort in die Notaufnahme, wurde drei Tage intensivmedizinisch behandelt und erhielt Blut- sowie Eiseninfusionen. Dennoch behauptete Dr. Malik später, meine Werte seien in Ordnung gewesen – ohne jemals eine Untersuchung durchgeführt zu haben. Ihm ging es nur darum, schöne Instagram-Videos zu drehen – nicht um meine Gesundheit oder um professionelle Nachsorge.

Auch bis heute ist die Haut an den Stellen, an denen er Fett injiziert hat, nicht normal durchblutet, sondern blau verfärbt und fleckig. Seine Reaktion darauf: „Das ist normal.“ Ich werde entsprechende Bilder veröffentlichen, damit sich jede*r selbst ein Bild machen kann.

Ich wurde seitdem monatelang hingehalten, belogen und ignoriert. Statt Verantwortung zu übernehmen oder Hilfe anzubieten, schlägt dieser Arzt nur vor, mich erneut zu operieren – selbstverständlich gegen Bezahlung. Es geht ihm ganz offensichtlich nicht um das Wohlergehen seiner Patientinnen, sondern einzig um finanziellen Profit.

Die Narben, die ich zurückbehalten habe, sind dick, verknotet, verfärbt und unästhetisch – Folge mangelhafter Nähte. Das gesamte Ergebnis – sowohl medizinisch als auch ästhetisch – ist eine Katastrophe. Ich habe gesundheitliche Langzeitschäden, ein entstelltes Erscheinungsbild und bin seelisch tief belastet.

Ich fordere, dass Dr. Malik seine ärztliche Zulassung entzogen wird. Dieser Mensch darf keine Patientin mehr operieren.

An alle, die überlegen, sich bei ihm operieren zu lassen: Tut es nicht. Ihr riskiert euer Aussehen, eure Gesundheit und euer Leben.
