Cancelled on day of delivery and said I’d have to wait up to 5 days for a refund as there were “no suppliers in the area having the kit available”. I was only trying to hire a set of steps???
Do not waste your time on these guys.

Chat bit is useless. Waited in all morning for delivery. Had done the usual of paying for the hire of a ladder after putting in my information. Paid by CC - bank wanted me to log in to approve which I did. However on checking my account payment is not showing ….a bit concerned if this is a scam - phone number on website does not work either. My advice -….look somewhere else for hire but be careful otherwise you could waste a whole morning as I have done.

Waited til the afternoon of the day requested to be informed they couldn’t source the product out to me

Had my order Cancelled 12:00 the day before delivery!
No phone call to rearrange no apology nothing.
Had discussed delivery times the day prior to cancellation and was told it’s all booked and had a AM delivery. No explanation from the team just cancelled and refunded. 2 days of work & money lost due to this. Extremely unprofessional, won’t use again

They delivered it just fine, but failed to pick it up on time and my customer is upset at me for them not picking it up. I thought it would be something they would want to get back into their stock.

Very disappointing service. I booked and paid for the hire of a cement mixer on the 06/08/25 for 24 hours hire. I even paid £5 extra for it yo be delivered before 13:00.
I received a message on the actual day it was meant to arrive on informing me that due to lack of supply it would not be delivered today (06/08/25 but would instead be available for hire and delivery on the following day. I ended up losing a full days pay due to this unnecessary delay. I contacted the company telling them this and expressing my dissatisfaction in their service (or lack of) and wanted some sort of compensation or at least a discount for the inconvenience caused along with the days pay I missed out in. They simply replied with "we don't offer compensation or discounts"
Very disappointed and I will not be using this company again and I highly warn everyone to be very cautious when dealing with this company. Their customer service is totally disgraceful.

Very easy to use, mixer came on time worked perfectly would definitely use them again!

Cancelled my hire the day before it was due to be delivered. Won't be using the service again.

First question is how is this company running and one of the first companies to come up when I type in stairwell scaffolding hire???

Secondly.
I ordered the scaffold. Received an email to say it’ll be with me between 8am-5pm very vague.
To wait all day to have nothing delivered. No email. No call. Nothing.
Tried speaking to the live chat and just went in circles.

Bottom line is - NO ONE USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE A SCAM.

Ordered a cement mixer for this morning no contact or delivery got guys on site to lay flag stones ended up mixing by barrow not very happy 😡

The initial hire was postponed by them on the morning of the original date. Delivery was very good and the tool worked well. The tool was supposed to be collected on the Monday but by Friday I still hadn’t heard from them. I tried contacting them from the phone number on the invoice but it was discontinued. The new number didn’t work properly with option3 not working at all. I used option 1 and waited. Eventually a voice told me of long delays and said I could request a callback but failed to tell me how to do this. I have nowhere safe to leave this (expensive) tool for collection so I have waited in all week. This firm is totally unsuitable for diy tool hire. Iphoned them today at 3pm- no one there!

Ordered ladders for Thursday ,Waited all morning , Received a text at 11am ,order cancelled,New delivery for Wednesday LOL.
Not one single phone number works ,sent 20 messages and not one single reply .
I won't see the £90 again , shocking

Terrible. Don’t answer the phone, tried to collect ridiculously early into the hire. I won’t be using again. Horrible service.

Hired a demolition hammer for same day delivery, the order was not even processed on the day. Was told the following day it wouldn't be delivered till the next working day.

it would have been 5stars if you had delivered earlier driver was friendly and helpful would use again in the future

They are just part of nations wide tool website who are essentially a call centre who then go and try and find the product in local plant hire places. Don’t be fooled into thinking ANYTHING is in stock they hold nothing in stock

I hired a scaffold tower for a Saturday delivery but realised I needed to amend the booking for Friday delivery. The initial online booking was easy but when trying to alter the booking it was extremely stressful, trying to get a call back, calling and being told by an automated message that there was a 5 hour wait to speak to someone. Eventually after managing to raise a ticket number I was contacted via email and all was sorted. The delivery was fine, the tower was good, and collection was fine. I would use again but make sure I have everything sorted to avoid changes.
