Bought the T2-R from ebay and it worked fine for a couple of weeks. In the meantime spoke to Manhattan Support who suggested I got the T3-R if I wanted catchup which I did. A couple of weeks down the line the T2-R plays up. Rang Manhattan Support. The person I spoke to did everything he could to say the problem was ours. The aerial must be the problem although every other TV and set-top box worked fine. In fact the T2-R and T3-R were intended to replace the BT Freeview boxes which are working fine. Became obvious the warranty was worthless and Manhattan have little intention of replacing or fixing their boxes. You try to buy British and this is what you get. Poor product and extremely poor support.

every freeview box I have had has the ability to put the favorite channels in a order that the user would like them, until I got the manhattan freeview box t2-r , which does not allow it and support were very unhelpful saying they are not going to update the software. It is like an unfinished project. !! .If they polled their customers I am sure that lots would have liked the feature so user experience was not their top priority.
They claim that they are award winning, but they must of made their own awards because that is poor execution. Also you have to keep changing to favourites view all the time, normally one would change to favourites view and it would remember, so everyone you look at the schedule it would show favourites, but not with this box. It is like they got a box with components just to sell but did not add the features that would make it nice for the user. Made to sell, not made for a good user experience.
