i rang and spoke to a guy called marcus my intentions at that time was to bin my aura i had so many problems, marcus was very helpful and suggested i reset the box, as im 82yrs of age the thought of this was frightening but he suggested that he would email me full step by step instructions which he did immediatly it was very simple with his help and the problem was solved. thank you marcus

Purchased a refurbished Humax Aura after my old version gave up, and have had nothing but trouble. Repeat recordings, turning the TV on in the middle of the night. Unable to forward or rewind a recording. Blank recordings the list goes on. I think I'm on my 4th box and still having problems. I've been refused a refund because I'm over their 30 day policy. Under the UK consumer rights act 2015 I'm entitled to a refund for faulty goods.
Constantly trying new ideas their CS agents come up with. I'm now totally fed up.
DO NOT BUY A REFURBISHED BOX unless you're prepared for a lot of trouble and no recordings.

Haven't actually set it up yet as still watching recordings on the old, It's our fourth machine indicating how pleased we are with rthem

Fast shipping & delivery. Packaging/cushioning could have been better as postman did not bother to knock on door to deliver just shoved it through postbox onto a very hard floor. (Royal Mail!!!! Ugh!)Remote control was OK when checked though. However this is the second time we have bought a second remote before Humax box has given up the ghost! ?Poor quality remotes or not built with longevity in mind???

Customer service was excellent. Bought a replacement remote control which turned out to be faulty. Customer service initially advised on how to factory-reset both remote control and set-top box rather than just replacing the remote control and adding to electronic waste pile. However when the reset was ineffective the remote was exchanged without question. All rsponses were prompt, polite and comprehensive. Humax customer service makes problems disappear.

IVAN WAS VERY HELPUL IN DEALING WITH MY RETURN OF AN 1TB AURA BOX BECAUSE I HAD BOUGHT A 2TB AURA WHEN IT BECAME AVAILABLE ON THE HUMAX WEBSITE ABOUT 2 DAYS AFTER MY PURCHASE OF THE 1TB BOX. DELIVERY OF BOTH TO ME WAS VERY QUICK

I had a sound problem with my Humax recorder.
I contacted your service department for advice and spoke to Marcus.He could not have been more helpful. After following his advice I managed to successfully resolve the issue very quickly. His quick response to my enquiry was very much appreciated. Many thanks Marcus.

Had a Humax digital recorder for many years but, sadly, it passed away. Searched for a new box and the new Humax box ticked all the bases with the additional bonus of a large memory.
Easily installed and working fine.

Unit arrirrived on time as promised, very different to earlier 5000T and is taking time to get used too, but seems superior. It is the only recorder that I can find that records 4 different programmes at the same time, which I use a lot.
