I just wanted to clear some things up. On the website there are boots made in Vietnam and they are the cheapest ones. The ones made in Canada cost more and have tags clearly stating made in Canada. Don’t know why all these people are so down on the company. They haven’t stopped making them in Canada, they added the ones made in Vietnam were add to meet the demands. If anyone researched the company they would realize this. The company isn’t trying to hide anything.

Terrible. Like many others I have been interested in buying a pair of Manitoba Mukluks for sometime, and finally decided to spend the money. Their website states they ship within 2-3 days. They charged my credit card immediately, and sent a confirmation email claiming the same thing, that my item would ship within 2-3 days. Unfortunately after a week I had yet to receive any further correspondence confirming my order had shipped along with tracking information. I contacted their company and spoke with the female representative who talked so fast and wouldn't even let me get a word in edgewise. I gave her my order number and then she asked for my tracking number which I had to explain to her in between her cutting me off and interrupting me that I didn't have a tracking number because I wasn't sent any further correspondence that my order had shipped. She then said the item could be out of stock. I explained to her that when I ordered, the item showed to be in stock... and if the status had since changed, it would've been professional for them to let me know of that change, so I could decide what I wanted to do. She placed me on hold to find out what had happened. After a few minutes, she came back on the line and told me that the item was in stock, still showed in the warehouse, and would ship in 2 days. But then she said that she didn't know why it hadn't shipped in all this time, and a ticket had been filled out to "send to the warehouse" and when they received that, they would do an investigation as to what had happened, which would then take 2-5 days and my order would ship! So this was two very contradictory statements! Furthermore, It would take almost a month before I would even receive my order! That constitutes faulty trade practices especially since a clearly states on the website "ships in 2-3 days." Because the statements were so contradictory, I wanted to make sure of what she was saying, and tried to ask some questions, however she interrupted me countless times, spoke over me numerous times, bad enough to the point I finally had to tell her to "stop talking and please let me finish a sentence!" She developed a bit of an attitude and at that point, I informed her to just cancel the order immediately. She said she would cancel it, however the process of that is they apparently they have to send the "cancellation notice" to the warehouse which could take 2-3 days, and once the warehouse received it, and reviewed it, I would see the refund on my credit card!!! This is the biggest façade I have ever seen, and buyers need to be VERY AWARE that what they advertise is not necessarily how they practice their business ethics. And now reading reviews that these boots which are advertised to come from Canada are coming from China & Vietnam???Very disappointed in this company.

Was very disappointed that the men’s hard sole moccasins were made in Vietnam, and the women’s felt slippers in Indonesia. The moccasins aren’t even comfortable. Very bummed that yet another company is grifting off Native Americans after touting their support for said communities.

Was totally duped by Manitobah. I had been wanting a pair of mukluks for quite some time. I then received them as a birthday gift. After the purchase is when I found that they aren't even made in Canada. I really wish I had researched before. I was blinded by my desire to own these.
I will never recommend them to anyone.

Very disappointed. Like many others, I thought we were ordering Canadian made items. Moccasin slippers were made in Vietnam and toque came from China. Can’t speak yet to the quality as they are to be given as gifts. Believe the reviews. Once again very disappointed

My boots came not even as a matching pair. One looked old and previously worn and the other looked new. I sent 3 emails right away with pictures and called 3 times and each rep I spoke to on the phone said something different and it took 2 weeks for anyone to email me back. The costumer service is equally as terrible as the boots I received. A month later I finally get a refund. Would not recommend spending this amount of money on a company who does not value their costumers or their dollar. I did request a new pair be sent out express shipping but they told me that was not an option as they were looking at a week or 2 delivery time frame. Now I am getting emails with promotional offers for the holidays and express shipping..so lovely

Ordered Nov 14 and received an email that said my package was shipped and on its way. Dec 4 I emailed the company as I had no got a shipping update nor my product. Received an email back that said they did not have the stock to send me a replacement. I simply wanted to know if they even shipped it and customer service refused to answer and kept emailing me back their original copy response saying they would issue and refund. We will see if I actually get a refund. Customer service isn't important to them.

Appear to be scammers.They offer discounts if you give them your email address so they can send advertising, I gave them my email then tried to purchase a pair of slippers, my discount was then denied, also their products are not made in Canada so why even do business with these scammers?

I bought a pair of Metis Mukluks a couple of years ago and have loved them from the start, had lots of compliments and was very proud of them. Will order again. I have also bought a pair of mittens and a pair of tipi mocassins. They have not disappointed me and I will order from these guys again. I did try to purchase a couple of mukluks and mocassins from an ad on FaceBook. I spent my money and it turned out to be a scam. So I lost all my money. I did tell the original site and they said they do not sell on FB and those sale prices would never happen, so thought I should add that to my review. I think that Manitobah Mukluks should warn people right away about all these fake sites so nobody gets taken.

I would like to caution potential clients of Manitobah Mukluks. This is like a Canadian aboriginal business that supposedly makes real moccasins and other authentic shoes from historical Indians. I've just received slippers and light shoes from the company. Their website simply screams that they are real natives, and accordingly, I was completely sure that this is our Canadian company, that the products are made by Indians with using their traditional technologies, and buying from them, I am making a contribution to their community. However, while looking at the shoes, I discovered a label “Made in Indonesia”. It's ok to produce shoes in various countries, but they have to inform about it customers. I am shocked by this blatant deception! Concerning my order: 1) I ordered the same size, but the shoes are too big and the slippers fit on with difficulty. 2) I don’t know if there will be wrong with the quality, the leather seems to be thin and soft, but I started reading reviews (too late, of course), and discovered that holes form quickly. 3) Delivery over a week from BC. A down jacket arrived from Finland to Toronto in 3 days. Unfortunately I watched negative review too late.

mocs did not fit, size 9 way to small, narrow ...not good at all. Wore 2 times threw into garbage.

I Have been buying lots of moccasins always thinking they were made in Canada, too only realize they are MADE IN VIETNAM. VERY DISAPPOINTING THINKING I’M SUPPORTING INDIGENOUS PEOPLE!!!!

I just received my House Mocs and absolutely love them! Great workmanship, perfect fit, super comfortable. I can't wait to get the Sunshine Grains so I can love them just as much!

I love this company. I won a beautiful alpaca blanket worth over $140.00. That had me hooked. I purchased some beautiful one of a kind sandals which are wonderfully designed by a beautiful indigenous woman Wasaga Fringe Sandal - Black / Ladies 6. You can feel the love in making this show. Fits perfect and service was impeccable. They arrived as stated and I couldn’t be more pleased with my purchase. These shoes were made in Canada, although I always buy AMERICAN MADE. I rolled the dice because I love supporting native and indigenous cultures, a deep love of mine. Go check them out. The quality of their goods are second to none. I highly recommend this company.

I got a pair second hand (unworn) because the original owner couldn't get a size return. After wearing them for 1 winter the vibram sole has nearly worn through. With the design of the sole, and being a 2nd hand item, it will be difficult, if not impossible to find d someone to resole them. I am only out $150. Someone who paid full price for any of their shoes with a vibram sole will be dissatisfied with how long they last and how quickly the heel is particularly prone to wear. I don't know what I expected from a company that doesn't even put a shank in their boots.

Aweful customer service - took days to respond - they have a "buy one get one free" for their socks going on and only sent me one pair - should have been a simple and straight forward case for them to send me the second pair but I have had to basically plea with them and make a case to get them to send the second pair (to which they still haven't agreed to do) and my latest sent email got an "sorry inbox full and your message has bounced" response from them... won't be purchasing from this company again.

My Boots have good traction walking in snow, waterpeoof, warm in -15 to -20C temperature, not warm in lower temperatures. On icy surfaces, boots are dangerous to wear!! Treads are useless to grip icey surfaces and you are guaranteed to slip and fall!!! I fell and no longer wear boot in spring when there is lots of icy walkways.. Boots should not be worn on icy surfaces!! My feet are wide and I struggled in pain wearing the new boots. It took me three months to wear fit these boots. I will not buy another pair.

When they were actually made in canada they were amazing they were wider in the calves for those of us that arent skinny...and you heated the sole to form it to your foot they were extreamly warm not these china ones arent warm they are super tight on the calves to i cant get them up where they are supposed to be they end up being ankle boots....manitoba mukluks made a mistake when they outsourced. The quality turned from amazing to garbage...

I received my boots in good condition. They went thru a app called Shop.which a after dealing with athere shipping app SHOP.I wouldn't of bought them .but manitowbah boots an mukluks I bought are beautiful I've had no problems with them yet .
