Would not recommend. The mukluks did not even last one winter before coming apart at the seams. I contacted them to see if I could have them repaired by their store and was told to find a cobbler even after I was willing to pay to have them fixed by their company.

Terrible customer service. Don’t order-cancelled my order without my knowledge, twice!!!
What a waste of energy, time. Just Don’t.

None of the material for the boots or two pairs of mitts I purchased were Canadian. The soles were made in Vietnam, and the rabbit fur was from China... which I highly question the ethicalness and humane practices behind attaining the fur in China. Aside from the design and perhaps sewing, there wasn't much "Canadian" about them. Would not purchase from them again.

Do not buy. I am waiting 2 weeks and they are not shipped and I cannot cancel the order. This is a joke. They say it’s there new computer system. I say fix it. You are destroying the environment with your products going places when people want to cancel them and they are not even in a box ready to ship.

I Love my Manitobah mukluks! They are so comfortable and warm. Im going to get the tan metis mukluks next.( as im metis/Mi'kmaq and find the floral beadworks beautiful) I live in Vancouver so I needed water-proof first. Highly recommend!

I purchased online a week ago and my card has been charged but I still have not received any shipping confirmation. I emailed a couple of days ago and was told they should ship on the 16th and still nothing. I am not really happy about this as they have my money and I have nothing.

The return process is a joke!!! My wife wore the moccasins I got her for our anniversary for 5 min inside the house they didn’t fit so they went right back in the box, it did take a bit for us to print the shipping label due to needing an IT guy to fix printer, but even after they received moccasins it took them 2 weeks and multiple calls for them to tell me they wouldn’t accept the return because the moccasins where in worn condition and that they where shipping them back to me. Do not expect anything out of their returns department including exchanges for a different size!!!

I purchased a few separate items under the belief it supported indigenous people. The slippers I got for my mom we're made in Vietnam. Two of the moccasins I got for myself and my daughter had very poor laces they were made of suede and broke almost immediately.

I was able to get my boots while they were sale. They are the most warmest and comfortable pair of boots I have ever wore. My size was on back order but within 3 weeks my boots arrived, Very happy customer !

Manitobah Mukluks provides a quality traditional product with modern updates. I couldn’t be happier with the leather moccasins I purchased. They arrived in record time and are beautiful and comfortable!

Purchased several pairs of mukluks ladies leggings, via QVC. Gave them as Christmas presents & kept a few pairs for myself. However, within a couple of (cool) washes, the results are awful. Despite the claim they DONT PILL. this is incorrect. They look a complete mess!!!! I’m sure Trading Standards would have a field- day with this. I have photos but don’t know how to post them on here.

I have owned mukluks, from a competitor brand, previously. They were not water proof. I like to use them for dog sledding. With in a month the fur started to fall out. I believe they were not cured properly. However. After 5 yrs they are still warm and are my back up.. regular pair.

I recently got a pair of Manitobah for Christmas. Snowy Owls ( funny note: we have two real snow owls living in our yard). I absolutely love these mukluk and notice a tremendously difference right away in the quality. These ones are also waterproof. They are super warm (-40 c) weather. We had some extremely cold weather.. my feet stayed toasty warm.

Will definitely be looking to add a 2nd and 3rd pair.

I purchased the hummingbird gatherers in December, they arrived and I was very happy. Until I noticed after only wearing them half a dozen or so times to buy groceries that the hummingbirds were pealing off. I was not impressed especially for the price, but I emailed pictures and waited for a response. I asked for a partial credit As the boots are still wearable or a replacement without decals that could peal. They advised me to return the boots and they would be replaced with the same style. I asked what would happen to the returned boots (they are fully functional and the materials came from an animal giving up there life they should be worn not destroyed). My idea solution was a partial refund or credit. But no one would tell me what they did with returns and would only say I needed to return them and they would be replaced by current stock that had already been inspected and repaired. I was then given a number to call. I called and asked the same question about what happens to returns because I respect the animals that gave their lives and would keep them with defects if they would be destroyed rather than donated to those in need. Instead I got the shocking response that they knew about my question and I had two choices return the boots and get a replacement, or they would give me a code for a free pair of any of there Mukluks and I could keep the defective pair! I am shocked that they were that defensive and refuse to say what happens to fully functional returns.

My first pair I ordered over a year ago were amazing. Shipped and on my feet quick. The second pair I ordered in November were received quickly as well. There was something wrong with them though, the seam on the top of the foot was incredibly apparent and was painful. They were quick to respond to my email and I got them shipped back to be either repaired or replaced. I was told that repair times are normally a week. I gave extra time since Christmas was in there as well and I understand they’re probably super busy, but it has been almost a month since they received them back now. I did the “chat with us” and the girl told me she would email when she heard back from the returns department, which was 9 days ago now, I was wanting an update since we are heading on vacation and I would need to let the post office know to hold the parcel if it was when we were gone. I emailed again as well and that hasn’t been responded to either. I was ok with waiting a bit longer for them to be fixed but almost a month is not ok. As long as everything is good with the pair you get they’re amazing, but if you need an exchange or repair it seems to be a waiting game, where they stop responding. (I hate leaving a bad review but after not getting a response when told I would, and then having an email not responded to...)

Update: emailed with Andrea and live chat with Anna (they were both great to deal with, but there was no solution)

I order Journey moccasins in Dec. I received them but they were too large- so I got a return label and sent them off UPS with a request for a size 8. I have repeatedly called and emailed and honestly their customer service could care less about their customers. I've spoken to 3 different people, each more disinterested than the last. My UPS shows the delivery to North Dakota on JANUARY 2nd 1(tracking No. Z63FY089041815165) but nobody at MM can tell me anything, other than "customs takes a long time". Nope, not buying it. It does NOT take 2 weeks to clear customs and I resent the implication that they expect people to buy this B.S. Also, I asked to speak to a manager and they refused to transfer me. Told me that there is *nothing* anyone can do to help me, and had absolutely NO IDEA where my return was, only that "they don't have it". They told me that I should call UPS and ask them where it is. Tracking number shows it was delivered to ND, despite what MM says. No one there seems to know what they're doing! UPDATED: January 21, still no reply from Manitobah, no refund or exchange. What's the next step??

I was so excited to receive my mukluks in the mail! I paid full price for a waterproof pair. They were so comfortable and beautiful. Unfortunately my feet were already cold in -6 degree Celsius weather and despite the fact I was wearing these boots on packed down snow mostly, they got soaked through right away. I was devastated I had to return them and all the company did when I let them know about the issues I was having was send me the exact same response I have seen them say to other people who say they are not warm, where they tell you all about how these boots are some of the warmest on the market for north winters and how no two feet are alike and we all feel the cold differently... Even after drying out the insides of the boots with paper towel and airing them out to dry they were still wet inside days later and it seems that the moisture came from the seams along the bottom. The company claimed that people’s feet tend to perspire more in the waterproof styles and I am 100% certain my feet were not perspiring, literally they got soaked through. They did not offer replacement boots (if they really are supposed to be waterproof and warm then I must have a defective pair right) or a partial refund. The company advised I should spend another $25 plus shipping on an extra pair of insoles and wear wool socks... when my feet were cold in -6! I might have kept them to wear inside at work (since they are useless outside) since they are comfy and pretty boots if I had been offered a partial refund, but they did not and I had to return them because for the price they are, they should at least be somewhat warm and waterproof... I hope it doesn’t take too long to get my money back so I can buy a real warm pair of winter boots... I am so disappointed because I have not found anything as beautiful and comfortable but it’s impossible to wear boots that are not keeping your feet warm at all and probably making it worse since they are not at all waterproof as claimed and don’t dry well.

For the most part they are disappointing. The sizing is accurate and they are a well made boot ( feel like you're wearing slippers out in the snow) however if you're not careful you will put them on the wrong feet. Both boots look like left feet and whoever decided they should be rated for -32 was sadly mistaken. I live in southern Ontario and our temps haven't dipped that much yet. My feet have already been cold. I spent the money on this boot specifically for that reason alone. I was so excited to have warm feet. Not happy.

The mukluks are not even made by Indigenous people and are outsourced right out of the Indigenous Canadian economy.

I would like to see authentic verified Indigenous artisans make these, and not self-identified non verified Indigenous artisans.
