Marble Law had my previous review removed, so again, here is our experience—

There is no way this company has a true 4 stars. They are having reviews removed. I would strongly caution anyone considering Marble Law, especially for an adoption.
We hired Marble Law to handle an adoption and paid a total of $6,775. After nearly an entire year, we were left with an unfinished case, thousands of dollars lost, and an unbelievable amount of stress. One of the biggest issues was the complete lack of communication. We went MONTHS without hearing anything from our attorney, despite repeatedly reaching out for updates. Phone calls, messages, and requests for information went unanswered. Our attorney missed several court dates without notifying us or providing any explanation. We weren’t even being informed of upcoming court dates. Eventually, we reached a point where we had absolutely no idea what was happening with our case. We didn’t know what had been completed, what still needed to be done, or whether anything was being worked on at all. We were completely left in the dark. After almost an entire year, we discovered that several critical steps in the adoption process had STILL not been completed. This included citation by publication, the paternity registry, the appointment of an attorney ad litem, and even something as basic as ordering the child’s birth certificate. At one point, our attorney had US complete a document and send it in that was supposed to be handled by THE ATTORNEY. We weren’t even authorized to do this, so this wasted an entire month just to hear that news, then after informing our attorney, the attorney never even got around to doing it at all..
There were also serious issues with our Marble client portal. Documents belonging to another Marble client were uploaded into OUR portal. These were not our documents with incorrect information on them. They were another client’s documents entirely. That alone was extremely concerning to me considering these are private legal matters. Based on our experience, it genuinely felt as though our attorney was unfamiliar with the adoption process and its requirements, even though it’s written our step by step on our districts website.
The situation became so serious that our case was at risk of dismissal because of the delays and lack of progress.
We eventually terminated our relationship with Marble Law and initially received a refund of only $920.75. After another month or two of back-and-forth communication and fighting to recover more of our money, we finally received an additional $1,500 refund. Even after both refunds, Marble Law retained $4,354.25, despite never completing our adoption.
We then had to hire and pay an entirely new attorney to take over the case and complete steps that should have been handled long before. Thankfully our new attorney is very on top of things and we are finalizing in just a few weeks. The new attorney has done in just a couple of months what Marble Laws attorney couldn’t do in an entire year.
What makes this experience particularly upsetting is that adoption involves a child’s future and a family’s stability. We trusted this company to handle something incredibly important, and instead we spent nearly a year dealing with unanswered questions, missed court dates, incomplete legal requirements, and financial loss.
This was, without question, one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences we have ever had with a company. I would NEVER recommend Marble Law based on what we went through.
If you’re considering hiring Marble Law, please do your research and understand exactly what you’re paying for before trusting them with something as important as your family’s future. Read the actual reviews on google or BBB. These are clearly getting deleted. Also— Their “payment plan”, we didn’t realized until we were manipulated into completing the whole process. It’s only through AFFIRM which you can use with most real lawyers, so if you’re only doing it for the payment plan structure like us, just use affirm through a real law firm. You will waste thousands with this company.

Marble Law has been up front about any fees. They act in a timely manner. Marble keeps you updated on the progress and has a portal that you can access anytime to see the status of your case.

Everything was explained in detail. Payment was easy to make on line. By paying in full I saved.

Patience very helpful step-by-step to the end i’m very thankful

My experience has been a big relief. As a father not knowing your rights things can get difficult. Marble Law has help me sleep comfortably at night knowing I’m not in this alone. I know I’m in good hands! Thank you guys again!

At first when I found marble law I was skeptical. I thought it was an ad just to get me to hire them and take my money. But I will tell you the whole time they have kept me updated the WHOLE WAY! The staff constantly check in on me, I can reach out to my lawyer anytime without little charges piling up. And I’m kept in the loop at all times. If I do happen to have a question I ask their chat support and get an answer immediately! If not it get relayed to the team and they respond very quickly. I am more then satisfied and if I need a lawyer in the future marble law is where I will go!! Cannot recommend them enough!! My lawyer Laurel was amazing the whole time. We got the adoption and now my husband is my daughter’s father!
Overall completely satisfied with service!! Try them out you won’t be disappointed!!

My situation came out of no where. I felt lost and scared with no hope. Marble Law was able to get me in touch with an attorney and even find me advance me the money to pay the attorney. You dont have to be alone. Marble law can give you hope.

Easy, straight to the point

Their service is good and attentive but they are expensive. They wanted more for just the first step of a divorce than I have paid other attorneys for an entire legal action. They may be good but they sure aren't cheap. I think their approach is novel yet not entirely clear and straightforward. They don't spell out with the next action will be Beyond this because that's the hook. They don't focus on the entire plan they only focus on one step at a time and overcharging for the steps. That's where they get the money out of you it's about breaking it down into so many steps and overcharging for the steps. I would look somewhere else.

My experience is great. My concerns were listened to and put to work immediately. The pricing thus far is affordable is done at a step by step process like it’s broken down into payments instead of all at once. I had a hard time trusting going into this route from hearing that attorneys/lawyers getting over on people, but I sense no games being played and they work fast. Marble is a great company to go with

DO NOT USE. I selected marble law for divorce paperwork but within two days found someone else and chose to cancel my contract with marble law. I never even filled out any paperwork or spoke with the lawyer or met with her and I’m not receiving a full refund. The customer service is awful and a complete joke. No number to call and actually speak with a human. The chat feature is frustrating and glitchy to use. I keep being told my refund is on the way or under application or in process but I’m out a lot of money and it’s been since August. I used a payment plan and the payment plan customer service can’t help me either. I’m out over $700 that I have not gotten back.

Was exactly what I was looking for: great service, responsive staff and service

They were not clear about their fees. They add more and more charges and their service is not good at all. They have bad communication between their financial department and the attorneys. The attorneys are outsourced so the lack of communication is abysmal and there is no place for negotiations directly with the attorney. You don't get to chose who you work with. Very impersonal and lack of professionalism.

Firm is very thorough and makes things easy and not stressful excepts payment plans and provides discounts for full payment which is awesome and convenient. Process is smooth and easy and everybody’s nice.

I felt a real respect for the attorney that I spoke with. He seemed genuine and concerned. I was pleased with our conversation.

Speedy service, professional, and very informative with great flexibility and financing and general help.

Do not use this company. I cancelled immediately not even 3 business days, did not ever speak with a lawyer as I changed my mind and cancelled before the lawyer signed the agreement. I paid $500 down and they still want $1422 for the INTAKE FORM. THEY DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS OBVIOUSLY. Do not use if you are on the fence!!!!!!!

The initial contact I had was an AI person. It was strange, but then the attorney who would be representing me called me, she was straight to the point and said I may not have a successful case due to the language in my divorce judgement. She said she'd give it a try though. When the financial rep called me he explained how much it would cost me just to file a contempt order and I was floored at the expense. I had an attorney already quote me that for their retainer and the man actually said, "Well look where your last attorney got you." Very smug and condescending. I told him the attorney said filing this may not even result in anything and I really just need to file this and have my ex-husband served. I'd be willing to go to the hearings, etc. He assured me the attorney would take care of all of that and the expense included going to hearings. I told him what I was willing to pay and we agreed on $2,100. After filing the contempt my ex-husband responded immediately and signed a new agreement somewhat protecting me by forcing him to put our house up for sale. After he signed it I received an e-mail from Marble Law that our relationship was done. 2 filings, no hearings, $2,100. Rip off in my opinion. My attorney was nice, but I feel I should have received a little back since they did not need to go to court for anything. This is a huge gamble you take using them.
