Marie Makes Reviews

This is the second time I’ve ordered a birthday cake from Marie Makes and both times it’s been brilliant. The cake looked exactly like the photo, tasted amazing (proper homemade flavour, not that bland supermarket stuff), and arrived right on time. Super easy to order and they were really helpful with a couple of little changes I wanted. Definitely my go-to for birthday cakes now

Another great cake thanks to Marie.

We had Marie made two 18th birthday cakes couple years ago and we highly recommend Marie to anyone!

Fantastic cake, communication really good, delivery on time, packaged very well and with allergy and storage instructions on the box.

Certainly would recommend. Until the next cake…

Excellent Service! cake design was amazing!

At short notice Marie made a beautiful baby shower cake for my daughter. We had a couple of emails between us with choices of design, flavour and colour, she made exactly as I requested and safely delivered it. It went down a treat. Shame to cut it up. Thank you Marie

I experienced great service from Marie Makes! Marie was lovely and professional every time I communicated with her. She was accommodating wherever possible and did everything possible to make my cake perfect. I would recommend Marie Makes to anyone looking for a high quality, delicious cake!

Amazing cake and amazing service! Ordered the fererro rocher cake for my wife’s 50th birthday, came out exactly as it looked in the photo. Email communications were great, delivered it to my door exactly when she said, and more importantly, tasted fantastic and wife loved it! Would definitely use again and recommend. Thank you so much

I honestly couldn’t have been happier with Austin’s birthday cake! 🥹🦁🌿

It was exactly like the inspiration image I sent, and the attention to detail was just incredible. Every little animal, banana, leaf and tiny finishing touch was perfect. You could see how much time and care had gone into it, and it fitted his safari theme so beautifully. It really was art- I felt bad cutting into it!

It tasted amazing too, which made it even better!

Thank you so much for creating such a special cake for his 3rd birthday. We absolutely loved it and had so many compliments on the day. I would 100% recommend! 🤍✨

Great service, easy ordering and paying. Delivered to venue on time.
Above all a beautiful and tasty cake .
Thoroughly recommend.
Thank you Marie ❤️

Marie listened to what we wanted, gave a range of options and produced an amazing cake. Looked fantastic and tasted great. She responded quickly to emails and was patient with my lack of knowledge answering all my questions! Highly recommend.

Thank you Marie, the cake not only looked fabulous it tasted delicious!

The ordering process was great. The cake tasted lovely

This was the third cake that Marie has made for me and I have ordered a fourth.
Her cakes are exceptional, she is a Master of her craft. I would have no hesitation in recommending her.

Fantastic service from Marie, responsive, polite, professional with great ideas. The final cake - wow wow wow exceeded expectations, was the centre piece that I was looking for. Taste was an amazing bonus too. 5 stars nor enough for Marie.

Great customer service and the cake turned out exactly like the picture I showed!!

The cake was for my son's 18th birthday and as I have had previous cakes I trusted Marie to make it for this special occasion and she did not let me down. Helpful and professional from start to finish, The design I gave of the cake to be made was even better then I imagined.

Wonderful cake looked and tasted amazing! Highly recommend

Contacted Marie at the beginning of the year to see if she would be able to make a large version of a cake my grandaughter had seen and wanted for her 18th Birthday Party.

Marie made our wedding cake, it was absolutely beautiful and tasted delicious. We found Marie on Bridebook and reached out with a Pinterest board for our vision of how we wished our day to look. We wanted a simple, elegant cake and Marie did just that. Thank you Marie!
