I went in today too ask if they could make my late grandmas ring smaller to fit me what she left me, she had a face straight as a pin and straight away said ‘ well we can only go down 5 sizes otherwise there would be problems with the ring strength‘ without even knowing my actual ring size. Seemed as though I’d brought her a problem? She then said well you won’t get it back till after Christmas, I said I know that’s fine ? She said I think ur better off waiting or coming another time ? Like eh? Then I asked for a price estimate and she said very sharply that she doesn’t know and that would be a estimate after it was sent off, no smiles, no customer service just pure rude , after my grandma only passing 2 weeks ago I thought I’d be greeted with some compassion maybe but it felt like she couldn’t be bothered to help me and just wanted me to go somewhere else. I will never again go to this shop dissapointed is an understatement she’s actually ruined my day as I can’t go tell my grandad I’m any further forward. Don’t work in customer service if you can’t hide your moods or smile!

Great a service as always from Market Cross Jewelers
Called intoMarket Cross jewellers Guisborough to have watch strap repaired, it was going to have to be sent off for pin fitted ,this could take 6 weeks,lady in shop saidI could take link out of strap instead ,but this may make strap too small.She said I could do it now,she did this and watch still fits perfectly. Lovely Swarovski item
I bought a Swarovski Christmas item from Market Cross Jewellers and it arrived on the expected date without any problems. The item is beautiful. It was extremely well wrapped, could have been dropped from a great height and wouldn't break. The item was in an official Swarovski box with certificate. I have bought items from this company before and have never had any problems. It was a great price too, much cheaper than buying from Swarovski online or from one of their stores. Would recommend this company without any hesitation.

MCJ Watch purchase - Great experience
From initial contact (via email), to a couple of calls with Matthew to discuss some watches, my whole purchase experience has been fantastic with MCJ. I wanted to view a couple of watches and Matthew was extremely helpful in holding these for me until I could visit the store. Upon arrival, the watch sales staff (Steven, Martyn and Jill) were most courteous and helpful, taking time to explain the watches and most importantly, no pushy sales tactics. They reserved the watch for me to try, advised the branch where it was held and arranged a personal appointment for me.
