M&S in Bath. Today 24th June. I drove 13 miles to this store today. The new store in Bath is huge. I wanted some advice for a bra with soft underwiring which they said they don’t do anymore. I asked her for something similar and she wasn’t very interested , pointed and left. I didn’t get time to ask her to measure me as I haven’t bought a new bra for ages. I wander around for 20 minutes and then left. To find a member of staff in the first place was difficult and the service / care was worst. I loved the old building we used to have but this one felt like a Wearhouse. Cold attitude and not enough staff. When I left I decided I wound be coming there again. Feeling very sad.

I ordered 3 items on a Sunday evening.I paid for next day delivery which would be Tuesday. One item was delivered on time by DPD. Royal Mail tracking for the other 2 items never updated from ‘ we’re expecting it’. I searched in vain for an M and S email address and had to resort to online chat. The online assistant said ‘ there was a delay’ ( hmmm, I knew that) and confirmed that Royal Mail had not received the parcel , so the delay was down to M and S inefficiency. I was typing my reply to the online assistant, who had asked if I wanted a refund or replacement - ( was that an admission that M and S had lost the parcel?). The window closed in less than 2 minutes, literally as I was typing. ( I had had to quickly answer a ring at my door). Surely the automated system can detect that someone is typing a reply?
Extremely poor service all round M and S.
To add insult to injury, I’ve just checked and rechecked the parcel delivered by DPD - containing an item to be worn with the missing items. No returns label!! Apparently with red heat health warning, I’m supposed to head in to the shopping centre to return an item that is no use to me.
Grrr.

I usually love shopping in M&S and spend quite a bit of money on their goods. Not anymore!

Me and my mum were completely embarrassed in your Lakeside store at the weekend by one of your ignorant and obnoxious staff members.

We were paying separately but sharing a shopping bag in which I clearly added to my transaction. Mum paid first and then I started to scan my items and the bag. Some obnoxious loud mouth accosted us and accused us of not paying for our items, thinking that we were stealing extra items.

She screamed "Are those separate, have you paid for those?!" I promptly and firmly replied that she in fact had paid and I am clearly processing my own transaction. This clearly didn't satisfy her small mind so I had to explain to her again twice. Even getting frustrated and shoving the receipt in her face.

She eventually relented. I then promptly called the manager and made a complaint. Funny enough, the manager also said that this woman had received prior complaints. If she has received multiple complaint, then maybe customer service is not for her.

I'll take my money elsewhere!

Absolutely fantastic customer service from Beauty who listened, empathised and resolved my problem within minutes, doing so kindly and professionally.

The care, professionalism and friendliness of Andy the optician was outstanding during my recent visit.

Went above & beyond to try source some Tom Ford frames I’d seen elsewhere.

After having a double mastectomy, I now need post-surgery bras. I went into the store to purchase some, only to find a choice of just three different bras displayed on a small stand, and none of them were strapless, which is specifically what I was looking for.

When I asked a member of staff, I was told they did not have enough space in store and that I could find more options online. I have since had to order online, but I am now on my fourth attempt to get the sizing right. This has meant extra costs in delivery charges and has been very time-consuming and frustrating.

I feel very disappointed with Marks & Spencer due to the lack of choice, especially when they promote how strongly they support women affected by breast cancer. Sadly, breast cancer is affecting more and more women, and I cannot believe I am the only person experiencing this problem.

Finding suitable bras was difficult enough before my mastectomy, which is one of the reasons I chose to shop with Marks & Spencer because of their wide range and choice. However, now that I need specialist post-surgery bras, it feels even more difficult, and there seems to be very little choice available.

Very very poor. Money not in branch even 2 days after it was due. Asked for a refund still waiting for confirmation no email received. Emailed them no response. Won’t be using again steer well clear if you have any sense

I bought bras from the store after according to the girl who served me with a bra fit and said I was a 34 GG instead of my usual 36 G the bras were far too tight causing a lot of pain and feeling unwell, I,ve now reverted back to my 36 G so why did she do this without measuring me first, i was very disappointed , because i usually get good service from the bra fitting staff. I arranged for flowers to be delivered for my friends 70th birthday....there was a note on the door where to leave them, this was ignored, and according to the royal mail, were left with a neighbour....we don't know which neighbour....that was yesterday evening....we have no idea where they are.
Update....
Customer service dealt with the situation very quickly and friendly, still have no idea where the flowers are though....

Not much point in advertising football stickers if the store never has any in stock! I’m left with a load of receipts which I was told would be honoured when stock was received - checked in store again today, promotion has finished!! I’ve an empty album - maybe I’ll just stick the receipts in to remind me not to fall for this scam again.

I have today visited the M&S outlet store within Boundary Mills Colne. The reason for my visited was to buy a couple of pairs of mens jeans for myself. Having visited this store on many occasions I have so far been unable to buy my size 34w - 29in leg. If this size is so popular that it's constantly out of stock surely it's a simple job for management to order more of this particular size so that it is in stock. You can't sell what you haven't got in stock.

Bought a PACK of 3 bras - every colour was a different size! Bought 3 different colours of linen trousers (all same style) & every pair was a different length - the longest being 3 inches longer than the shortest! I wasn’t able to leave a review on their site as apparently you have to be invited! Why can’t m&s get their sizing more consistent!

I had flowers delivered for my birthday. They looked old as soon as they arrived. The note in the box said they would improve once in water. I added the flower food and water but they never improved and we threw them away after a few days. I would recommend not ever sending these

My coffee is lovely but within minutes cooled down ..The Air Conditioning had people playing musical chairs its so cold right along the outside tables in cafe ...I was freezing as we're other customers

I received a very expensive bouquet from my partner for my birthday in less than a week they started to dye, the flowers didn’t open, i am very upset that m&s didn’t not want to take responsibility,

Black Back Pack
Poor design and cheap looking
This was purchased on line to replace an existing Good Move backpack from which had I had lost the original chest fastener. Overall the design is very poor and cheap looking. Its size is too large for a back pack without any padding or air flow at the back. Unlike its predecessor there are no reflective safety markings on the front or back and no Good Move branding, just a dull black sack that looks and feels cheap. The previous version had a facility for an internal water pouch, a neat zip pocket on the front strap for passes and locker coins etc and a height adjustable chest strap for a comfortable fitting, none of these are provided on the newer version which is uncomfortable as it can’t be adjusted for proper positioning. It does however have a two way zip to the main compartment which is better. Overall it looks like a cheap item from China that is unbranded and sold by M&S. For this price point there are much better designs from established back pack suppliers whose obviously wear the products they produce.

Was collected by DPD in the early hours of Friday 29th May to deliver Saturday 30th for a 90th birthday. Received DPD message Saturday saying unexpected issues in delivery area meant delivery would be delayed to Sunday. Similar message received Sunday saying delayed until Monday or later. As flowers would have been unwatered for over 3 days I rang M&S customer services on the Sunday to complain, and they immediately agreed to recall the parcel and send replacement with guaranteed Monday delivery. Poor courier service, but can't fault M&S helpline, and replacement arrived in perfect condition Monday.

M&S invited me to submit a review on their website, but they refused to publish the above review, presumably because it gave an honest opinion of their poor delivery services.

I bought a pair of moccassins from M&S in February. One of the soles started to peel off in April. It's too far to go back to a shop so I repaired it but the second sole came off in May. Having tried a repair I can't really take them back but footware used only indoors should last more than 3 months. I've sewn the sole on to keep them going until I get to a proper shoe shop. If the soles had been sewn on rather than glued on in the first place they would have lasted for years. Cheaply manufactured in China and sold at inflated price by M&S. Rubbish!

I misplaced a £150 voucher and was told there is nothing that can be done.
I have the receipt. It was given to me in 2025. How in this day and age you can't use simple technology by adding voucher card number to receipt to foolproof this process is nothing but a scam.
My mum religiously shops food/clothes and i sometimes shop clothes but we will both now never step foot in your stores ever again, you keep my £150 but you lose our future business, well done !
