My wife and I found out about Masterworks in an article published by the New York Times. We were definitely intrigued and decided to contact the company for more information about investment opportunities in fine art. Our conversations with Kevin were highly informative - he addressed our concerns about risk, diversification, and allocation. We decided to become investors and are excited to add artwork to our portfolio.

The time Chad took to answer my questions and make sure I had all my information before making my purchase.

Terrible! Opened account for a couple of days, didn't go through interviews etc and decided to close the account. Since then I am being harassed every day. I have 2 calls on my phone every single day. I emailed them complaining and asking them to remove all my data and haven't received a response and the calls have not stopped. TERRIBLE!!!!

Kevin is very knowledgeable and provided answer to all my questions. The information he provided help me clear all my doubts I had about Masterworks

The advisor I spoke to was knowledgeable and surprisingly not pushy (I was reluctant to schedule a call, because I expected a pushy salesperson). The website is well put together, with a simple and sensical order process. I was waiting on an ACH transfer to my bank account, so I couldn't yet complete my sale, but the website reserved my shares and made it easy to continue the next day, after my transfer went through. I'm overall impressed and pretty happy so far.

When I heard about Masterworks I was excited to enter a new realm of investment opportunities, so I created an account, had a call with their representative, gave them all the numbers they needed and then... nothing.

They are not activating my account for some reason, all the while through their internal messaging system I keep getting spammed with opportunities.

I responded saying my account has not been activated, after which I got told that someone would contact me but noone ever did. I also tried their support system but no responses there either. They say they on average respond within 2 hours, but with me they didn't respond after a week.

Either I'm not big enough of a whale investor or something went wrong technically, I have no idea and I do not really mind, but the complete lack of customer support makes me very hesitant to pursue account activation and trusting them with my money.

Kevin and Alec were great. They helped me with getting started and answered all of my questions.
I never thought I would own a real piece of art and now I have 4! Thank you Masterworks for making it possible.

I regretted expressing interest and asking for information on Masterworks as they have absolutely no respect for customer privacy. I have made multiple requests for them to stop sending me marketing but they ignore those requests and continue to send it anyway, literally YEARS after first contacting them. If it is your goal to be aggressively hassled by a company that tramples your privacy and treats your private information like a commodity, MASTERWORKS is exactly the place to have that experience.

Responsive, respectful, non judgemental, the advisors genuinely want you to be a good fit for membership, communicate based on your experience level, and set realistic expectations. There was a wait, but they were honest with the wait times and flexible.
