If I could give this company a negative star I would. I of course fell for the 10$ membership fee thinking I’d have a chance to buy some really cool monster high dolls first. Nope! Not a chance for how fast they are gone, then when I asked for a return on my membership fee; I get told no.

This is an awful company and don’t recommend, I wish I could have read these reviews before I bought. The funny thing is, I got one of the dolls I wanted…. FROM WALMART lol 😂

Will not go out of their way to help if a missed delivery occurs will only cancel your order meaning you miss out on a limited collectible you really wanted

I have been a dedicated collector for 20 years, and Mattel Creations has completely ruined the hobby. Collecting is supposed to be fun, but the last 3 years have brought nothing but frustration and sadness.The platform is a joke. Real fans pay annual fees for clubs like the Hot Wheels RLC, only to face broken queues and checkout glitches while automated bots and scalpers sweep inventory in seconds to flip on eBay.When you complain, support sends a copy-pasted script blaming "high traffic." It is a deliberate corporate decision. Mattel gets their money instantly, so they do not care about fairness, nor do they listen to community feedback. I am officially done wasting my money on a company that treats its loyal veterans like an afterthought.

Ich dachte immer, bei RLC sammelt man seltene Hot Wheels.

Falsch.

Ich sammle mittlerweile Fehlermeldungen, Checkout Probleme und Überraschungen im Warenkorb.

Meine bisherige Sammlung:

BMW M3 – Checkout-Theater.
VW MK1 – Checkout-Theater.
Porsche 911 – Checkout-Theater.
Porsche RWB – Checkout-Theater.
Ferrari F40 – Staffelfinale.

Beim Ferrari F40 wollte ich zwei Stück kaufen. Einer davon sollte für meinen Sohn zum Geburtstag sein.

Ich war vorbereitet. Eingeloggt. Daten hinterlegt. Warenkorb leer.

Eigentlich perfekte Voraussetzungen.

Dann kam RLC.

Beim Checkout:

Telefonnummer optional.

Ich denke mir: Gut, optional bedeutet optional.

RLC: Süss, dass du das glaubst.

Ohne Telefonnummer geht es nämlich nicht weiter.

Der Support erklärte mir anschliessend sogar, dass Felder als „optional“ gekennzeichnet sein können, aber trotzdem erforderlich sein könnten.

Diese Logik werde ich ab sofort übernehmen:

Miete bezahlen: optional.
Kann allerdings erforderlich sein.

Steuern bezahlen: optional.
Kann möglicherweise trotzdem erwartet werden.

RLC Website programmieren können: offenbar ebenfalls optional.

Dann kommt Level 2.

Plötzlich befindet sich ein Bronco in meinem Warenkorb.

Ich habe keinen Bronco ausgewählt. Ich wollte keinen Bronco. Mein Warenkorb war vorher leer.

Aber der Bronco wollte offenbar mich.

Das ist kein Warenkorb mehr. Das ist Pokémon:

Ein wilder Bronco erscheint!

Während ich also eigentlich zwei Ferrari F40 kaufen möchte, muss ich zuerst herausfinden, warum „optional“ Pflicht bedeutet und warum ein Bronco beschlossen hat, Teil meiner Familie zu werden.

Bei einem limitierten Release. Wo Sekunden zählen. Perfekt. Die Lösung vom Support?

Cache und Cookies löschen.

Natürlich.

Wenn morgen bei mir ein fremder Audi in der Garage steht, lösche ich zuerst einmal den Browserverlauf. Vielleicht verschwindet er wieder.

Ich verstehe absolut, dass limitierte Modelle ausverkauft sind. Wenn 10000 Sammler schneller klicken als ich: Pech gehabt. Damit kann ich leben.

Aber gegen andere Sammler verlieren ist eine Sache.

Gegen den eigenen Warenkorb zu verlieren, ist schon eine besondere Leistung.

Was in the queue for a dream car of mine, had it in my cart and was made to wait to check out which said that my cart was not on hold until checkout was completed... eventhough I had pressed pre-order the second it was available. I made a review of the car and called Mattel creations out in the review, they removed it and did not respond to my issue, then when I tried to reply it told me that the email was not found...

What a joke.. we’re waiting for days the release of F40 and when the time is off shows sold out. ?????

Absolute piss take joke of a site!!!!! Every single time a limited cast gets released i go to click "buy now" when the timer runs out, but I'm then bombarded with pathetic stupid capchas!!!! By the time I'm done the item is poached by bots and scalpers!!!! DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!!! the real collectors lose out immediately and get rid of that pathetic capcha crap!!!!!!!! Canceleld my yearly pass because of this i won't be using this site again!!!

Bad scam site mymattelcreations.shop is a fake website. Mattel you need to check into this. I think it is a scam to get customers data credit card numbers, address and phone number. It acts like it is going through and says payment not processed, use another card so they can get more information.

Artikel per EXPRESS bestellt - nach mehrmaligem kontakt mit dem support - habe ich zuerst die express gebühr erstattet bekommen und nach erneuter nachfrage was mit dem Artikel nun ist - letztlich eine Geld Zurücküberweisung über den rest-Betrag erhalten, und damit habe ich den Artikel NIE erhalten ...

habe übrigens (aus Prinzip) auf deutscher Sprache kommuniziert und bekomme englische antworten - absolute Frechheit - so was habe ich noch NIE erlebt ( und ich habe viel erlebt)

meine Vermutung : es gibt keinen "Mitarbeiter" der Menschlich ist, ich vermute einen "robot-support" mit verblödeter KI - und die Kunden haben die ehre diesen ***** unbezahlt zu trainieren ...

Given up with Mattel and Hot Wheels, poor customer service, fail to respond to emails or just choose to ignore emails from customers who raise issues with the poor quality items now on offer.
Quality and workmanship has drastically declined with some models not worthy of being called exclusives.
Prices have increased for UK customers along with shipping costs.
Collection now sold and I've moved onto other diecast makers which are far superior in quality, cost less and ship just as fast from China and the far east!.

I am soooo sick of Mattel cheaping out on packing when it comes to shipping. Just shipping the mailer does NOT protect the figure/packaging inside the mailer.

Worst company to buy from online. What is the point of the membership, also why advertise an exclusive car with a chase car then say you may or may not get it??? Give people the opportunity to buy both? So I pay £37 for the offer but don’t get the chase but someone else might. Are we playing the lottery here? I won’t be renewing my membership or buying from them again.

Managed to get the MH alien skullector but ONLY because it went to preorder. The first two drops sold out when I was halfway through the captcha. Mattel does nothing to fight scalpers and their bots! I was told it would ship in June and that’s when I would be charged, but it shipped early with no warning! If I hadn’t been checking my account I wouldn’t have even known it was available for pickup!!

The memberships are a total scam. You pay to get the chance to buy an exclusive car not found in stores with zero confidence you'll actually be able to get to the checkout process. The exclusives sell out no joke, within seconds of release. It's like going to a restaurant, paying a cover charge at the door and then the kitchen being out of food and everyone just stands there saying better luck next time.

The worst website ever what I seen! Always the RLC Exclusive are a gambling. Ridiculous!!! Always 1 minutes after is everything sold. Just an example from many....

I placed my products ) ,as per limited than after chekout and the next step as a fortune.. told me I queueing , had towait 17mintues , filled up the card details and checkout telling the delivery address not good , I am using this address every time! Ordered and delivered planty of times before! So back to queueing again for 17 minutes than sorry all sold! Did the same on the afternoon on the non UK creations side as well waited 2 times 17 minutes than sorry all has been sold! Terrible costumer care mattel creation! Feel very bad !

Really disappointed with Mattel Creations UK. In June 2025 I pre-ordered the F1 Movie Hot Wheels. About 2 weeks ago (March 2026) it finally was produced and shipped, however the package have been lost by the courier and never delivered. Mattel did ultimately issue a refund (giving an extra star for that), but that left me with no product. I know it's a limited run, but very disappointed to have waited for so long and end up not having the product after all. There should be plan in places for these things, I'm sure they have happened before, to secure replacements in case of such events. Definitely not trusting in pre-ordering anything else int he future.

I live in Mexico and 1 they have lost a lot of my dolls [Monster High dolls specifically] and they take a long time to answer your e-mails, 2 they only refund your money but NEVER sent you new dolls, they keep your money for months only to wash their hands and sent you your money back, and 3 their dolls are "limited" and "exclusive" so you can't buy them again if they lost them, you have to buy them from a reseller to a much higher cost.

Here in Mexico we have made complaints about the delivery companies [MailAmericas] and [Qualitypost] but our complaints have been ignored for MONTHS, they don't listen to their customers, they don't care about you receiving your dolls [or toys], they don't even care about the suggestions customers make about their poorly made designs. If I could I would buy from another retailer [Amazon, Walmart, even directly form a physical location] rather than buying from you anymore.

You get charged for priority order but item run out in less than five minutes so while you try to put order website freeze they charge you but only to tell you item is out of stock customers service is even more useless than the website so basically same few overbuy and resell on internet triple the price but you can't even get one for yourself
