The retreat was really transformative for me. I had numerous “aha” moments. That was great, but most importantly I felt this time I had the tools to implement small changes in my life that would stuck. This time I knew what I had to do and not just understanding it on an intellectual level. As Matthew says epiphanies are underrated, action and change in habits is what sticks. I highly recommend the retreat for anyone who is looking to start making decisions from a place of love and trust and not insecurity and fear. And the best part - the people I met!

Felt I was in the room with everyone in Miami dancing. Such an uplifting, empowering experience. And I learned so much.

It's clear that Matthew is so rigorous in building his own knowledge and understanding, and then generously translates it into models we can all apply to our own lives.

The retreat was amazing, especially with everything that Matthew taught us. He's an amazing speaker, which lead us to take notes furtively. I also loved the energy in the room. Thanks to the retreat, I was able to meet lots of new people. Finally, the MH team was fantastic! Each one of them.

I don’t usually write reviews as I stay very busy but I felt I would not be doing justice to myself if I did not write about this retreat.

I have been listening to you for a long while and your videos have sailed me through my worst moments. I have a history of a terrible childhood which led to a terrible love life and I found myself directionless like a total orphan when it came to navigating life and love and loss…
Can’t say how much the inner child talk helped me ….i do have a childhood photo of me on my phone wallpaper now and I tell myself 10 times in the day that whatever I am doing in this life it’s for this little girl with dreams in her eyes.
I never had the good fortune of having great parents, I have had to parent myself all my life starting as a child…now I know how to parent that little girl better and reclaim my lost self esteem and pride.

I can only say a massive thank you !

Matthew is such an open, empathic person and speaks not only from lots of experience and knowledge, but also from the heart. That‘s one of the reasons I like listening to and learning from him. The 2-day Love Life Retreat (October 18-19, 2025) provided me with lots of valuable insights, with serious input mixed with moments of laughter and joy. Thank you for offering this experience as a livestream!

I did not receive any information about where to listen to the retreat replay. I paid and attended the retreat and did not get the same information as other members did. Now the replay is almost expired. Seems like MH Team is not that organized.
The retreat itself was great, but the team needs to be more organized and clear about distributing the information and where to find that information.

Matthew Hussey and his team created a powerful, deeply moving, immersive experience that felt like a masterclass meets group therapy meets spiritual workshop. Deeply emotional and deeply healing, this retreat and the lessons and feelings and friendhsips will stay with me forever.

I went to the weekend retreat in Miami and it was packed with valuable insight. Matthew manages to be both very wise and down to earth all at once. Highly recommend!

From a logistic standpoint, I thought it was flawless. No confusion or questions about where to go, when things would start, agenda, etc. Everyone with the MH Team was extremely polite and cheerful. Matthew's delivery and stamina were both incredible!

The two things I'd like to see modified: More fostering of getting to know other people, such as small group breakouts, other icebreakers, etc. Also, even thought the information was valuable, I think it was tough to focus at times due to long periods without breaks for such dense material. I do understand MH's stance about wasting time with breaks, but I think maybe a few medium breaks as opposed to one long one for lunch could help focus.

The retreat provided actual tools to make changes in your life. Really appreciate that.

One of my girlfriends introduced me to MH with recommending I read Love Life and listen to his podcast. We then both decided to attend his virtual retreat and each day we discussed what we learned. I will say a few things, in his retreat, I had already heard in his book. However, I walked away with a lot of good stuff! Tid bits that stood out to me:
- Stop deferring joy!
- What does my life need right now?!?
- Start doing and not just being!
- What patterns should I change? (Bodyguard)
- Don’t trust your feelings, trust your decisions!
- Criteria in creating joy in your day!

I also try to remember, I have full custody of me, take care of this one human and my job is to love the human I am!

Question: Have you ever thought of training others to become a MH Ambassador/Coach and have them conduct mini-retreats in their area so that the vision/mission of MH can reach more people more often? I would love to be a part of that!! :)

The change up from a 6 Day retreat to a 2 Day retreat could not have been easy but Matt nailed it.

The venue was just the right size, allowing ample seating space and a magnificent view of the stage from anywhere in the auditorium but not so big as to lose the atmosphere of pure joy and love. Each interaction with the venue staff was positive and although they were not part of the MH Team, they did their jobs with the same type of welcoming care and grace I have come to appreciate as the culture of an MH retreat.

Matt brought his energy, his dance moves and the most powerful content to the crowd.

Every year the live retreat hits differently, from reminding me that I am not broken or alone to leaving me wanting to keep growing and transforming my life. This year’s retreat spoke to my soul and awakened my spirit.

I cannot wait to see what next year has in store and I am already counting down to Live Retreat 2026!

Love and Respect to Matt and the entire MH Team!

This retreat was truly transformative — not only because of the incredible content, but because of the space it created to understand myself on a deeper level.
I loved how it combined emotional awareness with the intellectual understanding of why we build the “bodyguards” that protect us, and how we can compassionately rewrite those stories. That framework changed everything for me.
The music, the energy, the timing — everything flowed beautifully. It was powerful yet gentle, allowing real connection and insight.
Matthew was absolutely brilliant in leading the process, and the whole team did an amazing job making this magical weekend possible. I left feeling inspired, grounded, and full of clarity.

The Matthew Hussey Retreat has been a truly transformative experience. It helped me explore exactly the areas I needed to understand more deeply, and it gave me valuable tools that will help me regulate many of the dysfunctional patterns I used to have.
The event was beautiful, powerful, and deeply engaging, one of those experiences you never forget!

Unfortunately, I could not attend, so it was virtual. As it happens, I could only watch it sporadically. I am grateful I have the replays to watch. I WISH the replay was in the recordings so I could watch it when I needed a refresher, or as I am listening, there is always something that I missed on the first go around.
I have taken away SO much and continue to do so with the constant reminder.
I am now AWARE of my interactions with others that I didn't realise before, and understanding my " triggers". I have lost all my confidence in making sure that my "partner" is ok at my expense. My learning my VALUE has been instrumental in my not accepting the words "now you are irritating me" as a way of silencing me!! I have told my partner this...so we'll see if it continues.

Attending the Matthew Hussey Weekend retreat in Miami was truly a life-changing experience.

Those two days were intense, powerful, and deeply transformative. I experienced a genuine breakthrough as I moved through the process.

The organization was absolutely outstanding, and every detail reflected so much care, intention, and heart. It felt like a sacred space for growth, healing, and connection.

The Retreat Weekend was a great experience for me! I met so many nice positive people. Everyone was so friendly and keen to share their stories and experiences I haven't seen those vibes elsewhere in the world or any other educational programs. The MH Team was professional and always ready to help and support. Matthew is a star and a true guru of positive influence! I have noticed just after the retreat program how naturally I react on certain situations with a new MH approach, protecting myself, my feelings and self-confidence. It is also true what Mathew mentioned that some people won't appreciate your new behavior and those whom your considered as friends started to reveal their not-so-best qualities and you realized how toxic that friendship was. Just to summarise, the venue and location itself are gorgeous, fun and positive vibes are priceless. I wish it would be possible to meet up like this more often! Thank you for your excellent job!

Matthew orchestrated his wealth of learned and experiential knowledge with practical application in how he lead the retreat in a way that was seamless. The rhythm of knowledge and applied knowledge with getting us out of our comfort zones was quite an art in of itself and I’m so wholeheartedly grateful to have been able to attend in person. It was a transformative weekend in an unexpected way. I love how he used his unique strengths- as a DJ, a communicator, a leader, someone versed in interpersonal relationships, a counselor, a coach and mentor - just who he is as a human being to create something real that resonated. He created magic and invited us to be the creators of magic in our own lives.
