Monika was amazing. I had such a broken relationship with food and a lot of fear around eating and she was so compassionate and knowledgeable. She helped me make lifelong mindset changes around eating and I’m so much better for it. Through her guidance I healed my hypothalamic amenorrhea and got my body to really happy, healthy place to support my fertility journey that I didn’t even know was possible before our sessions!
The best investment for your physical and mental health
I came to Monika during a time in my life where I wanted to fix my disordered relationship to food and my body. I spent years yo-yo dieting, starving and punishing my body, all the while craving all the “bad” foods and binging when I would give myself a break.
Monika was an empathetic listener who educated me about hunger, food choices, and gave me the tools to keep going on my journey, which is still not finished. She was with me every step of the way, encouraging me, giving me useful tips and informative resources. I’m so glad I decided to invest in my health! I am now more confident in my decisions, and my food anxiety has decreased significantly.
Figuring out how to escape from previous thought patterns and developing a better relationship with food is so hard to do on your own. I can’t recommend Monika enough!

I really enjoyed working with Monika, she listened to my concerns and helped navigate the reasons why I had that relationship with food and my body image and we worked through ways to change it.
I felt that Monika really wanted to help find ways to help me in my busy lifestyle as a full time working parent to a 1 year old and there was no pressure or overwhelming sense of have to do everything now. Monika appreciated that my busy life meant the changes would be gradual and that habit stacking was the best thing for.
The best thing to come out of us working together is my relationship with my body image and I am so grateful for using some of the time we worked together on that.

Working with Monika has been such a positive experience for me. I’ve struggled with food and bingeing for years and honestly didn’t believe I could ever overcome it. Every time I tried before, I’d manage a couple of weeks without bingeing, but as soon as something stressful happened, I’d be right back at square one.
Since starting working with her, I had a couple of ‘slip ups’, but instead of making me feel bad about these, she’s helped me see those moments as part of the process; not failures, but opportunities to learn and grow. My default would have been to give up or say unkind things about myself rather than learn from such circumstances!
She helped me recognise my negative patterns around comfort eating and binge eating. We looked at my self-sabotaging thoughts together, so now I understand them in a way I never had before. Now, even though I still have those thoughts sometimes, I’m so aware of them that it’s easy for me not to believe them—and definitely not to act on them.
What I appreciate most is how kind and supportive she is. She constantly reminds me to be gentle with myself and to look at the bigger picture. It doesn’t come naturally to me, so these reminders have supported me in ‘training the self-compassion muscle’. She’s taught me that it’s okay to go off track sometimes and that those moments are actually opportunities to figure out what’s really going on and practise new ways of coping.
If you’re looking for someone who truly cares and helps you grow at your own pace, I can’t recommend Monika enough. She’s made such a difference in my life, and I’m so grateful.

I can’t speak highly enough of Monika and am so happy she’s been my dietician. Monika is exceptionally perceptive and empathetic and I always looked forward to our sessions. I have disordered eating and suffer from irregular periods. After 3 sessions, I have started to eat more intuitively by listening to my body and feel I have a much better understanding of how to enjoy a more balanced diet to nourish my body. I went to Monika for advice on how to combine improving my nutrition and lifestyle to increase my fertility and alongside lose some weight. She gave me good advice and helped me understand what I need to do differently to see the results I wanted. Her advice is easy to follow and sustain even during periods that are off the routine, e.g. on holiday. I appreciate that she also talked to my husband on fertility and what he could do differently, given we had concluded our consultation with fewer sessions than originally anticipated
Freedom to eat well and feel great!
I’ve recently completed the 22 week Be Good with Food / Transformation course and I can’t speak highly enough of Monika and the course.
After trying every single diet known to mankind, calorie counting, shakes, weight loss surgery, intermittent fasting, exclusion diets, intensive PT sessions, countless gym memberships and expensive 'transformative' weight loss apps (you get the idea), I’d lost hope and motivation in losing weight, and getting control of my body. My mood was at an all time low, which effected every facet of my life (work, relationships, body image etc).
After my first few sessions with Monika I felt as though I could share my feelings (and my food diary!) safely and without judgement. She worked with my established (poor) diet, suggesting small and manageable changes to improve my overall health. Gradually I started to trust this process and the key to feeling better overall is knowledge. The power and freedom to make choices based on some fundamental principles has built a solid and exciting foundation for me to keep building on.
I now no longer step on the scales (which is something I’d routinely do, every day for the last 5+ years, so even this is a huge and unmeasurable win!), my clothes fit, I feel healthy, full of energy, I’m generally happier, more productive and my relationships are flourishing.
It’s still work everyday to make these choices, but Monika empowered me with the knowledge to make choices based on their benefits to my overall health. I eat without guilt; without shame and with a freedom that no food is off limits.
My ultimate goal was to lose weight, and have no doubt that over time this will happen now my diet has improved and is more varied - but right now I’m riding the high of feeling great, and not being bound by my daily and debilitating negative body image and restrictive food thoughts.

The best decision I made this year!
Working with Monika has been the best decision I made this year! I have PCOS and an underactive thyroid and had been struggling to lose weight for nearly a decade. I had two early miscarriages in late 2021 and early 2022 and had not been able to fall pregnant since. Since working with Monika, I now have a deeper understanding of how to support my body, my cycles are getting more regular and I'm losing weight more consistently. I am so much confident in my body too and I know what to focus on going forwards! The support and accountability Monika provides is incredible and I highly recommend her services.
Highly recommended for PCOS, weight loss & understanding hormones
I gained so much insight into how my body was working and how I could reframe my relationship with it and with my diet during my time working with Monika. Her approach really did consider what was sustainable and fit my lifestyle, and the shifts I've had with understanding my PCOS have been truly significant. I did lose weight during the program which was great as it had been my main reason for connecting with Monika but the most significant benefits for me personally were with understanding my hormones and the impact food and lifestyle choices had on them. This gave me the confidence to work with my body and move away from using hormonal contraception for the first time in about 14 years without any of the issues and irregularities that drove me to start taking it in the first place.
Monika helped me reconnect with my body in a far more understanding, kind way and supported me finding what worked to feel healthier and lose weight in a sustainable way. I'd highly recommend her for anyone with PCOS who is struggling to lose weight or understand their body, and for anyone that wants to move away from taking hormonal BC but feels incredibly anxious about what that will look and feel like.

Highly recommend the Monika's PCOS programme
I decided to go ahead with Monikas PCOS programme after lots of consideration and I'm glad I did! Monika has been great to work with and has approached everything with the sensitivity I haven't been able to get from GPs, whose only solution for me was to "lose weight". With the onslaught of info found online, it's hard to stay motivated to do anything, especially when it all seems like it's unachievable unless I flip my whole life around, but right from the beginning, Monika set achievable goals and took things step by step, so I didn't feel overwhelmed. Towards the end of the programme, I noticed that my period had come 10 days early than usual which it hasn't done for many years, and I even managed to lose 2 kgs and stay there! Monika really helped me take a closer look at my eating habits and how my stress was also affecting things, but I know that even though I may momentarily have a couple bad weeks, I know exactly what I need to do to get back on track and since I've already done it once, I jnow I can do it again!
