Shanaka's UCAT mastery course has been an absolute gem for me. It helped me not just achieve, but exceed my goal score of 3000, solidifying my dream of pursuing medicine. Shanaka's 30-day exam mastery plan is a goldmine of resources. It doesn't just focus on boosting your score, but also on fostering a calm and focused mindset in the lead-up to the big exam.

The weekly sessions were a breath of fresh air. They were all about quality over quantity, creating an environment where skill improvement takes centre stage without overwhelming numbers. Helped me boost my UCAT by 400 points
I decided to go with medwithpurpose to train for ucat for the second time. Shanaka gave me really constructive criticism and his weekly tutoring sessions helped me analyse exactly what I was doing wrong and learn how to study in a way that gave me tangible improvements. Highly reccomend

Shanaka and med with purpose definitely saved me when I was preparing for the ucat!! I found the structure of the course so helpful and it reduced a lot of stress and uncertainty that I had. I would definitely recommend using all of the resources like the AR tracking sheet and the progress sheet because these are super valuable and ensured I was on the right trajectory in regards to all of the sections. Shanaka had so many tips and tricks, and I found doing one-on-one sessions occasionally really helped me because we were able to identify my personal strengths and weaknesses and set goals for the next week or so. Also medify had exams that were very similar to the real ucat so it was probably the best platform to use. I highly recommend this course to everyone!

Engaging and in Depth Interview Tutoring.
Shanaka was an amazing interview tutor who provided a lot of insight about the interview process, alongside providing me with many tips and tricks to ace the interview. Would recommend for all students !

Shanaka is an engaging presenter, equipped with vast knowledge on the MMI structure as well as the relevant content. He isn't afraid to speak on shortcomings and be critical, a rare sight in tutors.

Shanaka helped me to prepare for my interview for med school and it was one of the best training I have ever done. He helped me to better understand myself and play to my strengths. His approach is different in that it's not just about learning the tricks and techniques but really using your own character to your advantage. He made the whole process fun and even helped to to end up enjoying the interview. Would recommend anyone to Medwithpurpose without skipping a beat.

I improved in ways I didn’t even think possible. I got a 2500 score last year and with proper guidance, teaching and commitment I was consistently getting 3000 close to the exam. Although I only got 2800 on the day that was my own fault and I know where I went wrong and that was my own thing. For me personally, Shanaka felt like a big brother type of role and supported me in medicine and aspects and more importantly life aspects. I truly believe my whole character and personality has changed and evolved from the things I learnt from the course and Shanaka himself. I’ll unfortunately have to do the UCAT again but tbh if it’s the same journey as this year, then I’m happy because this program really did change almost everything about me in a beneficial way
