Beware! After I canceled, my card continued to be charged. There is no phone number or way to contact the company. Couldn't dispute the charge because I initially agreed to it. I had to CANCEL MY CREDIT CARD to stop their charges. There are many complaints about this online.

Lots of scammers/catfishers and I am not sure any that contacted me were real. The site did not respect my requests for the age range I was interested in nor the distance range. I was getting hits from much younger men than I wanted and who lived much farther away. The men’s listed location kept changing as well which was confusing. I tried to contact the MeetMindful site with questions and NEVER got any response. After being seriously scammed for weeks, I clicked on privacy mode (which means I can see potential dates but they can’t see me until I initiate it) but the privacy mode would never get initiated by the site. So I kept getting contacted by men too young and too far away and by then I began to question all contact because of being catfished so frequently. Thank goodness I never succumbed to giving money but what a waste of time and potential heartache. In the end my only recourse was to quit the site and take a financial loss.

Was good in 2019, is bad in 2021
When I first started with Meet Mindful in early 2019 it was good, made a couple of connections that were pretty good. Got back into it in fall of 2021 and notice a lot of scammers...I have been contacted by 5 or 6 people since fall of 2021 with several notes reading like this: "Hello, Beautiful, I would like to know you more if you don't mind." These are just like the scam messages I get on Words With Friends. A couple of messages that I was going to respond to via the link, I got "missed connection." Guess why? MM figured out they were scammers.
Another extremely annoying thing is NO SUPPORT. No way to contact them for help or a question on anything. Nothing. Extremely disappointing because the interface is really nice and the messaging function is great. If only they were legit messages. I will not be renewing.

Sorry not worth the money. At first I was excited as it sounded too good to connect with like minded people. However it's not all that it seems. One has to wait for ages to receive a reply and later on come to know that the matches app sends are mostly inactive members. I was on the site for months and never heard from anyone, except one or two people who were also ghosting after few days. People claim to be spiritual on this site however they are trashy and mean no better than guys on tinder /zoosk.
What a failure and waste of money and time! Duh!

I was guided to try out an off the beaten path way of online dating. What you typically find did not resonate with me. I believe MeetMindful provides an avenue for awakened individuals who genuinely want to connect. I found this here. I found who my soul needed to connect with (and so did he lol). In getting started, it's important to sift through your yes's and no's. Never settle. And its important to be open to new areas and new possibilities.

Dishonest. Website continued to charge me after I cancelled. I did not find an email or phone number for Meetmindful to question the charge and the help function didn’t work. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and the dispute was declined because I had no proof I of cancellation. Meetmindful does not send an email confirming cancellation. When I cancelled again the webpage said I’d still have premium for 6 months from my payment, but after I clicked cancel it immediately returned me to free member status, forfeiting the several remaining months. Now I tried to remove my profile and I cannot find a way to remove the profile and see many others have filed complaints with the BBB around this.

I found my life partner on MeetMindful! At first, I was underwhelmed with the amount of people on this app, but let me tell you...it only takes one! I used it in Dallas and then Pennsylvania when I moved there. My partner had his location listed as his hometown but he was actually living in Maine. I am so glad he forgot about his profile. xD Here is what we both liked about MeetMindful:
- Detailed profiles where we could tell a brief life story and attract compatible matches
- Phone app plus a website platform (I prefer typing on a laptop)
- Reminders to take it slow and not go swipe crazy (#mindfulness)
- Calming colors and formatting
- Preference options were perfect
- Premium: I had premium and my now husband did not have it. I enjoyed paying for premium and showing people I was serious about finding genuine connections, and it gave me certain perks.

We have now been together for 2.5 years, married for 3 months, and we have a beautiful 13 month old daughter. Thank you, MeetMindful!

I was pleasantly surprised with this app! It seemed like the perfect balance between the usual swiping apps, and the expensive subscription ones. I met many great people on here, and had several quality dates. It was the most success I’ve had with a dating app. Our values really seemed to be aligned, and the profiles led to great matches, as well as discussions both on and off the app with people.

Even MORE exciting, is that I actually just married the love of my life a few weeks ago, who I met on this app! We connected, chatted, had our first date, and the rest is history :)

I’m so grateful for this app, and I recommend it to my friends and family every chance I get!

Great idea (for me) but the members are not active, and that is a fatal flaw.

I have a bit of experience with Bumble Hinge, and Match. I am glad I tried each of those because they helped me realize that the right kind of dating app for me was something like what meetmindful is trying to be: a place where I might meet other single folks on a spiritual path similar to the one I am on. Shared activities like meditation, fitness, and nutrition are great conversation starters.

I have tried this app on two separate occasions, each a few years apart. Both times, I took my time reviewing other "platinum" profiles and sent out messages to only 10-+ people. During both membership trials, only 1-2 of the messages I sent ever registered in the messaging system as "READ" after 30+ days. If I did not have experience with those other dating apps, I might attribute that to my profile & pix being super-lame but, an 8-12% read rate is a poor return for an app where users enter with similar values and hobbies. I am not the George Clooney of New England, but c'mon, even a cross-eyed zombie could some "read" messages.

My guess is that meetmindful leaves profiles up for inactive accounts and the messages sent to those accounts just sit there. If that's accurate, meetmindful has a serious problem to solve because I am walking away unsatisfied after twice giving the app a fair try. They should be doing everything they can to help me reach other subscribers. Otherwise, meetmindful, what am I paying you for?

Out of fairness, I did some online digging about this app before I wrote this review. I wanted to keep my mind open that maybe I was missing something important. Nope. One of the things I did learn is that a vast majority of the subscribers are female, especially those over 50. If this is true, it makes the return on effort feel even lower to this 50 year old man. No problem. Good learning experience. I would not do it again.

One last thing. The app is notoriously hard to cancel. The key for me was: I was able to cancel only on the same device I signed up with. I tried to cancel the app on a different device and it didnt work. When I logged in on the home desktop, it canceled.

I joined MeetMindful in 2019, about a year after my wife passed away from cancer. At first, I felt like there were a lot of great people out there, but none of them really clicked for me.

Now I can’t say enough about the site. In early October 2020, a connection and I arranged our first “meet” at a neutral location called Batiquitos Lagoon in Carlsbad, CA (which was closer to her, but I liked to walk my dog there). for about an hour, we chatted as we traversed the full length of the 3.4 mile trail. When we finished, we didn’t want our time together to end, so we decided to continue our chat over lunch at a vegan restaurant in Encinitas.

When we parted ways after a very long lunch (we touched hands as we parted), saying that we “hoped to see each other again soon,” and that was the moment we both knew. Like in the movies, it was a moment of pure energy and magic. On my way home, as I sat at a traffic light, I texted to say how unexpected our meet was—and that I hoped she felt the same. She did.

We began to see each other exclusively and within two months, we were already being very open, honest and mindful of our feelings and the progress of our relationship (and since we are both in our 50s, knew that life is too short to waste it messing around with someone else’s feelings and emotions). So, after just a couple of months, we were talking about marriage.

In December, as we gathered together for Christmas, we informed our adult children (her son, my three daughters) that we were getting married. We decided to have a very casual, low key ceremony at Batiquitos in February of 2021, and neither of us could have imagined how amazing this love could be. It has truly been a wonderful and beautiful experience.

I returned to your site after 6 months away and already my account has been hacked. I am reporting you all to the BBB and I am now cancelling the credit card you have on file for me. You people are a disgrace and I’ll never give your sham of an organization another shot. I’m disgusted. If you want to challenge my dispute you can call me at 802-299-9451. Rating of lower than zero. I can't complain exactly about the service, but I learned early this year, 2021, that my account was breached in the fall of 2020. After spending a long time on the site, in settings, reading articles, etc., I have found that there is absolutely no way to disable and delete my account. I've gone through the reset password steps multiple times, been told I'd be sent an email/link, and nothing arrives. Resetting your password is required before deleting the account. There is no contact person or even an "info@" address to reach out to for support in this.

UPDATE- I heard from someone at MeetMindful who removed my account. It took months to get a response, but I am glad to have my account removed. Thank you.

There are soo many reasons why, for me, MeetMindful was the best dating app that I could have used when I was single…I’m vegan, into yoga/meditation/spirituality, enjoy surfing/hiking/rock climbing, care about the environment and the world, and most importantly, have never enjoyed shallow relationships or one-night stands. MeetMindful allowed me the opportunity to meet genuinely like-minded individuals, instead of people trying to project a certain image; the overall vibe I got from MeetMindful was one of “here’s where I’m at, you can either meet me here or not, no hard feelings either way” which was super refreshing and I think a large part of why I met the woman that would become my wife there… that and the fact that she’s a f-ing magical unicorn… we’ve been together for 3-1/2 years now, are getting married next month (!), and could not be happier with each other and in life. I’ve had other relationships in the past that started on other dating platforms, but even after 12-months with that person, we had nowhere near the connection that my fiancée and I found as early as our 3rd date. I highly recommend MeetMindful for anyone that’s interested.

"Matches" just spins and spins and never opens. Waste of time "service." And, no customer service, no answer to this question on the FB page.

quite dysfunctional, lacking user friendly flow, search options and interactivity

I had a fantastic experience with MeetMindful! It’s a niche site so there is not a lot of traffic, but there are many quality people to be found. A good and true profile is a must, along with patience. The site helped me to refine my search and led me to a number of fine people. I ultimately found my life partner, Queen, and best friend. Keys are doing the inner work, growing self love, being content and in joy with the present moment, and knowing that the universe will always provide greater and grander than you desire. Also, send that message and don’t look for a reason not to. There’s work involved and you may also wind up with a few new friends along the way. I’ll add that my service interactions with meet mindful staff never let me down and always made me feel like a valued customer. Best of luck to you seekers of love. ✨❤️✨

I wanted to sign up but received a message that my e-mail is already used by another account. I tried to contact customer service but that is not possible. Would like to chat or speak to someone about this. Who is using my e-mail. Did they create a fake profile using my e-mail?

I have no idea how they got my email because I did not sign up for the service then I was informed that my information appeared in the dark web from this site. I tried to solve the problem by deleting the account but it never existed. How did they even get my information?

Horrible, I'd give 0 stars if it were an option. They scam you with fake profiles and a conspicuous/scammy auto-renew (which should never be a feature anyway, especially for a "mindful" site) notice too. Then claim they can't give a refund, even if the renewed membership is barely a day old.

Doesn't sound very mindful to me....
