I strongly recommend STAYING AWAY from MeltFlex. In my experience, the app is practically non-functional and provides no meaningful value. ChatGPT can deliver essentially the exact same results—often more reliably—without paying for this unnecessary middleman.

The whole product feels like an attempt by its founders to make easy money from people by repackaging something that is already readily available elsewhere. Several negative reviews also mention problems with payments, communication and obtaining refunds.

Some of the glowing positive reviews raise further questions about their independence, especially when reviewers appear to share surnames with people connected to the company.

To me, the entire operation feels highly questionable and opportunistic. Do not waste your money—use ChatGPT or other platforms instead

So far my experience has been great. I can turn my design and drawings into a fantastic reality image to show my clients. All have been extremely impressed. Can't wait to learn more about this program so that I can implement it into my company. So far customer service has been great. Highly Recommend.

I signed up and paid for a year subscription, however, the software wasn’t what I was expecting. I cancelled 20 minutes later. Policy says refund within 7 days and not using more than 10 credits. I used 4 credits. Everything as per the policy but am still not able to get my paid money back. Have to file credit card claim. You’ve been warned. Be careful with them. Try before paying if you want to use it.

This company product didnt even work, I contacted the customer service which is run by one person by the way claiming to have “teams of customer service” the one person name is Matus. He takes days to respond. I emailed them about the fact that the API was not working and I even diagnosed it the exact cause so they can fix it quickly. It took them over a week to fix it and I also found out that they are a wrapper of meshy.ai. Because the APR literally exposed that. It gets worse they charged me twice for the same subscription on the same day. A literal double charge i didnt even know about until i checked my bank transactions. Guess what I did I reached out to the “customer service team” via email and he claimed he will forward it to the refund team and he just lost the whole case didn’t respond for a couple of days again and I had to literally escalate the case to my bank to get my money back. Don’t fall for it this is vibe coded slop at his best. Their claims are not true its all marketing BS. ( i gave it 3 stars so people can see this and not take it down because companys like this gets recommended by ai like chatgpt and claude, when they shouldnt)

The software was very difficult to use. I uploaded a floor plan that I wanted it to make into a 3D rendering. It produced garbage output. I canceled the service within 24 hours and was still charged ~$30 for using the service. I got absolutely nothing for the money I spent. My advice - don't waste your time with this program. Chat GPT did a better job. I would give it a zero star if possible.

I subscribed to MeltFlex AI's Standard annual plan and cancelled the same day (within about an hour), after testing it and finding it didn't do what was promised. Even cancelling was confusing — support took over 24 hours just to tell me where the cancel button was.

When I then asked for a refund, MeltFlex refused, citing their own policy that refunds aren't given once you've used more than a handful of credits. That policy conflicts with EU consumer law: for digital subscriptions like this, you only lose your 14-day right of withdrawal if the company gets your explicit, separate consent to start immediately AND your acknowledgment that you're giving up that right — a general link to a refund policy at checkout isn't enough. When I pointed this out, MeltFlex couldn't show they'd actually done that, and kept falling back on their internal policy instead.

After weeks of back-and-forth and support going silent for days at a time, I ended up getting my money back through a Klarna payment dispute — not because MeltFlex agreed to refund me directly. If you're considering subscribing, be aware that getting a refund if you're not satisfied may take real effort, and it's worth paying in a way that lets you dispute the charge if needed.

They advertise that they can turn an architectural project (a floor plan/top-down view) into realistic interior visualizations. Unfortunately, it simply doesn’t work - at all.

The only thing their AI actually seems to do is add some shadows and shading to the floor plan. It cannot transform a top-down architectural drawing into a proper interior visualization from a human eye-level perspective - the kind of view you would have if you were actually standing and walking through the rooms.

The results are therefore completely unusable and nowhere near what is advertised. I requested a refund, but instead of processing it, they have been delaying it and trying to avoid resolving the issue.

Decent tool, helped me to design my new apartment. Worth the money.

Way too many red flags. The reviews seem made up, with the same people showing up across different “AI tools.” The review videos look AI-generated, and a lot of the activity feels botted rather than real.

The “$1K contest” also feels sketchy, and there’s no option to actually post to the community, which makes me wonder where all those community posts are coming from. A lot of the 5-star reviews also seem to come from the founders’ home country.

Maybe there’s an explanation, but none of it adds up to me. Feels like a cash grab. I’d stay away.

The app is a good source for initial design ideas and inspiration. However, it would be much more valuable if the AI could better understand the instructions and interpret the uploaded floor plan before generating designs.

I would also like to see more regional and climate-specific design templates. For example, I am from India, specifically a tropical region, but there are very limited options that reflect tropical architecture, climate considerations, or local design styles.

Adding these options would give users a stronger reason to maintain their subscription. At the moment, after the initial ideation stage, the value becomes limited, so one month of subscription may be sufficient.

Another major issue is area detection. For example, when I upload my staircase drawing and ask the AI to redesign it, the generated result often has little or no connection to the actual staircase layout. At least if the AI could ask a few clarification questions or provide a simple editing/marking tool to guide it on which area to modify and what should remain unchanged, the results could improve significantly.

I am sure this app has the potential to become a real gem, both for designers looking for inspiration and for people like me who are managing their own home projects. Better recognition of existing structures, closer adherence to uploaded plans, and some interactive guidance would make the app significantly more useful.

My experience with this company has been extremely negative. The product did not perform anywhere near the level I expected based on how it was presented and marketed. In my experience, what is promoted as a sophisticated AI product appears to be largely based on ChatGPT functionality placed behind a separate interface. I simply do not see anything that justifies the price being charged.

The refund experience has been even more concerning. When a customer is genuinely dissatisfied with a product that does not meet their expectations, getting their money back should not become a battle. Unfortunately, my experience appears to reflect what multiple other negative reviewers have described: serious difficulties obtaining a refund.

What I find particularly unacceptable is the apparent practice of linking a refund to the removal of a negative review. An honest customer review should NEVER become a bargaining chip for getting your own money back. If a company believes its product and customer service are good enough, it should address criticism transparently rather than putting pressure on dissatisfied customers to remove their reviews.

I am also seriously concerned about the credibility of some of the positive reviews. Based on information I have seen, some appear to have connections to people associated with the company. If reviewers have a relationship with the business, that relationship should be transparently disclosed. In my opinion, Trustpilot should examine this carefully and determine whether all reviews comply with its community and authenticity rules.

The overall picture left by my experience is deeply troubling: an overpriced product that did not deliver what I expected, difficulties obtaining a refund, and practices surrounding negative reviews that I consider highly questionable.

My advice to potential customers: do not make the same mistake I did. Read the independent reviews first. Think very carefully before paying.

I personally regret purchasing MeltFlex. Based on my experience, the service did not come remotely close to providing the quality or value I expected, and the way my dissatisfaction and refund request were handled only made the situation worse.

Meltflex advertises as being able to take floor plans to 3D renderings. it creates very elementary output with a LOT of mistakes along the way. I spent three hours trying to get it to adapt to our already existing IFC floor plans and it simply could not do it. Could be good for other things, but NOT this.

Generative AI is the right direction. However there are still gaps which makes it difficult for what I need to do.

The tool needs to align better with the CAD drawing which is the basic information the designers have. Also the memory for the generative AI is not good enough. It doesn’t remember certain rules that I have it.

Subscribed on 26 July and asked for a refund about two hours later, as an EU consumer within the 14-day withdrawal window. Nine days on, it's still unpaid.

After a week of back-and-forth I left a review saying I was still waiting. The company then told me it would process the refund once I deleted it. They have made that demand four times, most recently forty minutes after I sent a formal legal notice explaining why conditioning a refund on the removal of a review is unlawful.

I used 15 of the 650 monthly credits, all within minutes of subscribing, testing whether the tool could produce the floor plan I needed. It couldn't, and I never opened it again.

I want to be honest about the personal side of this too: the sheer number of emails needed to pursue something this small has been exhausting and genuinely stressful, and in my experience I have never been treated this unprofessionally by a customer service team.

I've refused to delete this and reported the conduct to Trustpilot. Think carefully before giving this company your money.
