This beautiful product saves me hours of work every single day. The notes are crafted perfectly, and easy to edit or modify as I see fit. Customer support is very timely in answering (all of) my many questions... truly, you can't do better than this! Blasts SimplePractice and Fireflies.ai out of the water for the purpose it serves.

Mentalyc has made my notes experience seamless and has saved me countless hours of recording, writing, and reviewing. I'm planning to upgrade to include my entire practice of counselors on the same account, and will be testing the beta EHR feature in the near future. Thank you!

Mentalyc generates great notes that are very customizable. Sometimes customer support can be slow.

Mentalyc is an AI 360° Psychotherapy Note producing tool (Intake, Progress, Treatment). You can record sessions or dictate or type in a recap. Mentalyc not only retains the session/recap transcript for you, but also produces any type of Note you want from dozens of options (SOAP, Narrative for Individual, Group, etc.). It remembers key things about clients sorted by first name. You can fully or partially de-identify clients. The accuracy and reliability of the note-taking is excellent and the Customer Service is among the best I've ever seen: Quick, thorough, supportive, patient, and kind.

I’ve really enjoyed working with Mentalyc to make my documentation load more manageable and save me multiple hours a week in paperwork! The customer service is excellent and they always have a personal response when I have had an issue and all issues have been resolved and were minor. I recommend this service for any clinician that wants to spend more time connecting with their clients as opposed to focusing on what note they need to jot down while in session.

As a therapist one of the most time consuming parts was documentation. Mentalyc has helped me so much by taking that burden. It's simple to use and accurate. I've never had a client decline it's use. I can do telehealth and in person. I simply start the program at the beginning of session, then after session review the note it's created, and save. I can transfer the note to my EHR easily and then I'm done. It's quick and easy to make minor corrections in the note. It also generates a comprehensive treatment plan based on the client's goals discussed in the session. So helpful!

Terrible. I am not even fully subscribed and this is junk. It freezes to the point that it crashes my entire computer and leaves it frozen. I couldnt even imagine using this back to back with a client. It is beyond terrible im so mad I even tried this out because my laptop is currently beyond frozen that I cant even power it down

Hi. Mentalyc has been offline for all day. Up until this time, I had favorable ratings for their note taking ability. After today, I will look elsewhere. In the past other things have happened. Unable to produce treatment plans except piece-mail due to no info being transcribed. Sent email to them and they wrote back after a few days acknowledging system wide problem and offering an extra day or so. Also waiting past the deadline for my new month's notes to start. For example it says new notes starts on the 6th of the month @ 6pm. Well I work past that time and no new note until next day.

I have been a subscriber for almost a year, and Mentalyc has made the difference between building a thriving practice, and complete failure.
The tool is easy, intuitive, and fast. But most importantly, the notes it generates are detailed, accurate, comprehensive, and require little to know revision. In fact, most notes are better than I could do myself.

Mentalyc has shaved about two-thirds off my time writing notes and treatment plans. Its ability to capture the session accurately is phenomenal. The level of detail it generates is great, including treatment plan goals, objectives, and interventions. They are evidence-based and (frankly) better than I could do on my own and better than Wiley or any other practice book I am familiar with. It even captures direct quotes from the session and locates them in just the right places. It also has the flexibility to permit a provider to write many different types of notes, such as SOAP, DAP, or more universal.

Of course, as good as the AI is, it is not a substitute for a therapist. One must still carefully read, edit, and append the drafts it creates. For example, it cannot generate a mental status exam, assess speech patterns, or note nonverbal aspects of a session.

Mentalyc is constantly improving and adding new features. One of my favorites is an analytics feature that gives feedback about many aspects of the session. It tracks the speaking time of the therapist and client and also notes how much silence there was in a session. (I constantly challenge myself to respect silence rather than trying to fill it with more prompts for the client.) Mentalyc's analytics feature provides feedback about everything during the session, from greeting and agenda-setting to therapist-client rapport. It does not shy away from pointing out areas for improvement. It is constructively critical and makes suggestions for improvement. It almost feels like having a clinical supervisor or colleague giving feedback about each session.

In sum, I highly recommend Mentalyc! Whether you are an associate or fully licensed, this is the AI software you need to minimize the time spent writing notes while maximizing clinical effectiveness and efficiency.

I enjoy using the service. It makes notes easy to write. However, it would be nice to have a condensed version for notes that get entered, as the detail can be too much for a chart. Interpretations can sometimes be inaccurate, however they are usually spot on.

The consistency in which the program captures the subjective and objective components of the sessions is invaluable.

Mentalyc.com has helped shorten my note-taking time by half. They have also updated the platform by adding Session Analytics, which offers insights based on the transcripts for the session framework, therapeutic alliance, progress, relationship, therapist-client collaboration, and talk time.

Mentalyc has been a game changer for my personal mental health which means I can be more focused on being present with my clients and not so overwhelmed with the details of documentation. Mentalyc is intuitive and thorough and even validates the work I'm doing with my clients helping me to see both my clients and my approach from a neutral perspective. I feel even more confident in the creators and their moral and ethical viewpoints and their genuine desire to improve the experiences of clinicians so that we can improve the experiences of our clients.

Great tool, it helps so much whether I use it for admitting a inpatient or assessing/following my outpatients. Also, working in Canada, Mentalyc perfectly understands French! It benefits my practice a huge deal, I couldn’t do without Mentalyc anymore.

Mentalyc has helped save thousands of hours on notes for all the clients that I meet with and assist. I would not be as efficient and effective as a therapist if it weren't for this system. Thank you for all the note formats, saving options, treatment plan options, and updates. I truly love and enjoy this company.

I have enjoyed the use of the program. It has cut my time doing notes by 75% of my time, treatment plans are great, and intake notes are awesome!
I have had to contact customer service several times due to changes at my business and it took a little to get what I needed done but, they are always courteous, friendly, and willing to work with me.
Overall, excellent customer service.

This application has improved my ability to get my progress notes completed in a timely manner. I went from taking weeks to hours to complete my notes. I now usually complete my notes the same day of the session. This has given me more time to prepare for my client sessions and improve the service I provide to my clients. I love that I can record in app (In person or via telehealth) and generate a note which I review for accuracy. I am so thrilled with this application and consider it a God send.

Overall, I love the program and its ease of use, and still happy to have purchased it. However, today, I had issues with notes being generated and error messages, and units used and not replaced due to errors. I was not able to contact help because the tab was blank. I was finally able to access it, and when I could fill out the form, I was not sure if it made it to help or support because there was no follow-up.

Mentalyc has cut my note writing time in half. It also helps me write detailed notes.
