Metacritic Reviews 

Removing user reviews is the same as removing the freedom of speech. I thought we were living in a free country and allowed to express our opinions? Why are you shilling so much for Sony, Metacritic?

They removed my reviews and banned me for making a joke about the review bombing situation with Dying Light 2. The joke in question was "I'm glad they removed the Italian dub, that was my only problem with the first game." because some petty Italians were review bombing the game unfairly.

I can't even register to make a review, typing a username forwards to "please enter a username" and I can't register without entering it the website is completely broken, not only they don't let people register to put their opinion but also most of the controversial reviews are all paid by all the crappy corporations (EA, Ubi, Nintendo) to get a great score

One thing a review aggregation site should not do is censor reviews and that's exactly what they are doing.

all of my reviews got deleted without warning, because they didn't like a single score I gave to a game (I presume, it's not like there was any message explaining the ban) and the score couldn't have even been outrageous as I usually thread the line of the average scores...

A very dated website with archaic user interface and poor performance. The website feels slow and clunky to use... It needs to be modernised.

Is it only me or Metacritic is deleting bad reviews and so by doing this giving one particular product a better review as it deserves?!
When I write a review I also put my detailed reasons of my review so to help others see the clear picture and verify themselves.
This is very bad practice, very dishonest. Such a shame

Reviews for anything other than games don't show up for me.

You can't trust Metacritic. Negative reviews are getting deleted so the game has a better score.

I used to go to Metacritic to see honest opinions about games. I always knew that the meta score was complete bs. They were scores given by companies paid to review the game so I already knew it was going to be all 5 star reviews. The user score though was people like me people that actually spent their hard earned money to purchase the game giving their honest opinion. After how they handled the last of us 2. I will never use metacritic again. The last of us 2 received horrible reviews because it was a horrible game. I don't have to actually play the game to know this. Naughtydog lied and purposely mislead us for years because they knew it was a bad game. Any game where kill the hero for no reason within the first hour of the game after promising people that this hero will have a longer role in the game and then they force you to play as the killer as some form of mental torcher to the player. That's why it's a bad game. And all those people giving it 0 scores those were emotional reviews by true fans who waited over 4 years to play a title that they loved to find out they've been lied too the whole time. Instead of supporting the user's Metacritic attacks us claiming everyone is just hating for the sake of hating meanwhile they are still promoting this trash as if it's a great game. It's obvious to me Metacritic is a very biased site and they are paid to promote certain games. I wouldn't doubt it if they manipulated the user score they can't be trusted.

This glorified blog owned by CBS Interactive (the oldest of old-media dinosaurs) is completely corrupt & censorious, accepting payments from companies for favorable reviews and participating in review manipulation - deleting reviews AND commissioning fake reviews in order to raise up or tear down media titles. The sooner games and movies stop listening to these shills the better the industries will be.

Cannot be trusted at all. Has pandered to companies by removing low scores to increase their average scores. Hides reviews of certain games for their own political reasons. A pointless and disgraceful site that is supposed to help people make decisions on reviews bit instead exists for politics and big business.

They block negative reviews for certain games (last of us 2) due to either ideological reasons or corruptions. Many fake positive reviews seem to be continuously added while clearly the negative review count has not changed.

I gave an honest bad review of a game called "Super Smash Bros Ultimate" in which I went very in to depth why I dislike the competitive side of the game where I told the reader that in my opinion its better as a game to have fun with. I literally typed 4021 words explaining everything without saying anything hateful, offensive and I didnt lie about anything since I researched everything that I wanted to make sure off. I even gave the review a 7 star but they banned me from giving any more reviews and they rermoved my previous review. My name is DaNeDAVeeto in metacritic's incase someone does't trust me.

Taking bungs from EA Sports again clearly. Rating broken games highly; broken!

Since "Trust"Pilot forces people to censor their reviews or get taken down for weeks I will keep this simple and let you come to your own conclusion...

Metacritic bans reviewers[reason irrelevant]. You do not get a notification or reason of why, nor any warning, you will just see that you can't post a review anymore one day. Once banned, all of your reviews are gone. You can search for more info on this and it's recommended to do so.

I am dismayed that I can no longer trust its reviews as it was the last one I actually trusted. Normally one would expect just the offending review to be edited or removed.

Reviews are helpful but there is a lot of bad ad spamming going on at the site just now. Makes it unusable
