Honestly don't get what their problem is. First time they turned up doing their road drain maintenance they fired water out of our downstairs loo and my pregnant wife is cleaning up possible sewage. Only to say to her "didn't you hear us knock?" with some other guy in the van smirking.
Second time they came back they did the exact same thing again only to talk to the engineers who could only apologise and after calling their office they hung up on me.

I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO CLEAN FOR A SECOND TIME LOO WATER FROM UP THE WALLS WITHOUT EVEN SO MUCH AS A WARNING THAT THIS COULD HAPPEN. A LEAFLET OR A KNOCK WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE. VERWOOD 3.7.26 @ 3pm

Mike from Metrorod Northampton called me quickly following my enquiry and arranged for his team to come next day, came on time and called before arrival as I’d asked. Kevin and Aidan arrived and couldn’t be more helpful, lovely people, knowledgeable and great service. Mike gave me the hourly rate and an estimate and they were within the hour that he said most are resolved in. Brilliant service all round.

After being let down by other companies I have a very good experience with Metro Rod Cardiff with a blocked manhole with complicated access. There was very effective and honest communication from the beginning. Craig came out and was very professional, polite and helpful. He made a stressful situation completely stress free. I was happy with the work completed, the price and would recommend to anyone.

I put a call in to have an external drain unblocked and it was passed to Metrorod Highlands and Islands (I am based in Inverness.) They were at my property within a few hours the same day and fixed the issue very promptly. The gentleman was so helpful and polite. I was very impressed with the service and how quickly things were dealt with. I would completely recommend this company based in H&Is.

The repair was done with polite and and patient experience. I am very happy and satisfied with the work that was done to solve my problem.

They came after a week of my first contact and solved the problem. When I contacted the council the leak was declared emergency and put me on the line to resolve within 24hrs, however the council didn't come on that night instead the pass me on to this agency. The agency didn't come for two days. I tried to contact them several times they seemed not to care at all. When they sent the engineer he said they need to dig within machinery. After calling them several days they came and it took them 15min. No machine nothing. They spent hours on their van before they left. No good service at all.

First contacted Metrorod on behalf of a charity building having problems with the ladies’ loos. Contractors set a time, then failed to show, then turned up hours later. They stayed on site 18 minutes and did not even access the loos. They’ve tried billing two contractors for three hours, which runs into hundreds of pounds. Except I have cctv of them never entering the building or the ladies’ loos drain. They flushed out the sink waste drain with a hose instead. Absolute scammers. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

I’m now being harassed to pay the final bill, which they’ve offered to reduce by £160 or something. I’ve asked to see their complaints policy and it’s never been sent. You can have the same conversation with the accounts person only to have the same conversation again several weeks later!

Incredibly professional service with a wealth of knowledge

MetroRod came out yesterday to investigate a sewer blockage arranged through my insurance company. Although the source of the blockage turned out to be five doors up the street and not on my property, the engineer went above and beyond to help get the issue resolved. He was professional, helpful, and genuinely committed to finding a solution. Outstanding service and very much appreciated.

Cliff did an excellent job reversing his 6 wheeled tanker down my narrow 100 yard drive. He arrived on time and got the job complete.

I had a blocked drain and had arranged it to be cleared through my insurance company. They did not instruct Metro Rod correctly so the work was not carried out initially as intended. It was getting late and I was getting concerned. I then had a call from a lovely lady at Metro Rod, who had arranged for someone to come at short notice. Gary arrived with a very positive attitude. It was an awkward job, I thought, but he finished it in about 20 minutes. He was very friendly and also made some recommendations to help prevent the same problem recurring. On that basis I would highly recommend the company, both the technicians and the back-up staff
