For anyone considering a hair transplant procedure I cannot recommend MHR highly enough; from the initial expression of interest appointment, to the pre-op consultation, the surgery itself and the aftercare received, all were of an exemplary standard. For those thinking of travelling abroad for what is in my opinion quite an invasive and extensive procedure, I would urge you to consider a UK based clinic, as whilst being more expensive, I believe the quality of care offered is much higher and well worth the money. I am ecstatic with the results so far and it has only been a couple of weeks. I would like to extend a special thank-you to Gordon Pepper who is a senior consultant at MHR and talked me through the procedure, costs involved, expected results and also took time to check on my progress. However all the staff involved within the practice are great, friendly, welcoming and supportive. MHR is proof that you do absolutely get what you pay for.

Great experience with the team at MHR Harrogate. Anna and Natalie have been great from the get go and starting to see some really positive results too.

I’m now 4 weeks on from my FUE procedure with MHR and I just wanted to convey my thoughts on the whole experience. Overall, I’m just so pleased I opted to go with MHR. I looked at 3 providers in total, assessed the offering and the costs and I think there were several factors which swayed my decision to go with MHR. Above all I think it was the friendliness and professionalism of the staff at the firm at the end of the day. It’s such a big decision and I think one needs assuredness and utmost care, or the impression of in order to sway that decision. From my initial consultation with Anna in Leeds, I got a very professional and honest opinion of what it all entailed. After then deciding to go ahead with 2,500 grafts I had a further meeting with Dr Kunnure, a fantastic guy; calm, clear and sincere and just fantastic throughout. Procedure day was tough, 8 hours long approximately, and separated into three stages. Although I wouldn’t say the procedure is painful, it is very uncomfortable, do not underestimate it, I did and had 3,000 grafts in the end. However, this was overcome as much as is practically possible by the fantastic team in Knutsford; Gillian, Dr Kunnure, the Technician’s Nicky and Paula (so calm, patient during the graft implantations and with voices of Angels!), they made my day and I don’t think I could’ve wished for a better team of professionals to get me through it all. The guidance since has been exemplary, the swelling a few days post was intense, but it quickly subsided and now im fully back to normal with a crown that looks great. Thank you Team MHR! Marcus.

Just finished my first year of treatment and couldn't be more thrilled with the outcome.
This clinic, and Dean in particular, have always been very informative and flexible throughout the whole process.
Dean was very honest about what could and could not be expected - as he said, "there's no magic about what we do, its all science based, and we don't give anyone a 100% guarantee it will work for them"
His openness and honesty to answering my endless questions was very reassuring.

I didn't tell anyone I was having treatment until people began noticing the new short sprouting hairs and mentioning my hair was looking thicker.

When I first came to Dean, I was incredibly insecure about my hair due to how young I was over the last year and a half I have been on finasteride and minoxidil and the laser, and seen incredible results, when my hair was at its worst, it felt like my life was over, that I’d never get a girlfriend or be able to go away with my mates or get my hair wet, but now I can finally say I feel confident with my hair and I couldn’t be more grateful for what this has done for me.

I initially went to MHR Manchester to enquire about a hair transplant, but after speaking with Dean, he took the time to explore alternative options with me rather than rushing into anything. He recommended trying low level laser therapy alongside finasteride and minoxidil treatments which I really appreciated as it felt like a genuinely honest and tailored approach.

Since starting the treatment plan, I’ve been delighted with the results. I’ve noticed a clear improvement in thickness and overall hair quality, and the process has been straightforward and well explained throughout.

A big thank you to Dean for his professionalism and honesty. He’s been incredibly knowledgeable, approachable, and supportive from the start, making the whole experience feel comfortable and reassuring.

From the very first experience I had with MHR Clinic they were top class.

From having thick strong hair as a young lad I found myself thinning around the crown aged 28. Thorough research led me to MHR Clinic and I'm so pleased it did. I enquired about the treatment and quickly received a call back asking me to come in for an informal chat around my concerns and where I want to be with things.

The Harrogate clinic is brilliant. I was met at front of house by Natalie who was lovely and very welcoming. The consultation from Anna was so natural, no pressure throughout and her knowledge was impeccable. I felt very confident in proceeding with treatment which included herbal remedies / topical spray and LLLT.

I am currently half way through treatment and the results are mind-blowing. The hair growth by my hairline / crown is beyond where I thought it could be. Thick, healthy new hair growth. I'm no longer conscious about my hair.. which is the very most important thing to me and we're still only half way through.

The service provided by the Harrogate branch by everyone involved has so far been a breath of fresh air. A genuinely great business ran by people who genuinely care on a personal level for all their customers.

I sat down with a number of clinics, all pushing the hair transplants, this didn't sit comfortable with me at all.

So please, if you find yourself reading this review nervous about making contact then please don't be. You could not have found a better place for your hair.

I'm so pleased I found MHR and the relationship I'm sure will continue long after the treatment.

I’ve had a great experience with MHR and my hair has improved drastically! My hair was starting to thin out on top and I could see my scalp every time I looked in the mirror. After having a consultation with MHR they looked at my hair follicles under the micro-camera where they could see that they were starting to die off. Luckily I’d caught it early, and underwent a combination of laser therapy and daily topical solution application over 8 months. After around 4 months of the treatment I could no longer see my scalp every time I looked in the mirror. Now after the whole 8 months my hair has improved massively - it’s so much thicker, and the hairs themselves are much stronger. I can’t see my scalp whatsoever. The staff at MHR have been so helpful over the course of the treatment and I can’t thank them enough. If you’re suffering from hair loss and are thinking of doing something about it then I fully recommend MHR Clinic.

I can only describe my experience as life changing! I am only half way through my treatment and have seen a huge improvement. I was very embarrassed by my hair loss and due to this very rarely went out or socialised at all. Anna and Natalie have just been amazing!!

All round a great experience from start to finish. I first sat down with Gordon in November for a consultation and we looked at the donor area and the recipient area to determine whether or not I was suitable for a hair transplant. From then we booked in for the actual surgery and the pre op date. This was only a week in my case due to work commitments, this was fine with the clinic. On the pre op I sat down with Gordon and the doctor, they both talked me through everything and made me feel really comfortable before the surgery the week after.

On the day of the surgery I was met by Gillian and offered a drink whilst I waited for the Doc to be ready. I was taken to the consultation room one last time where they drew on my new hairline and then I was given time for the toilet before the procedure began. The procedure was a long day but it also went really quickly. The technicians were lovely, during the extraction they had music on which made me feel at ease. Then whilst the incisions and the grafts were being placed they gave me the remote to watch whatever I wanted to on Netflix and spoke to me throughout the whole procedure.

The doc would constantly top me up on local anaesthesia if I could feel any pain. The day was completely pain free except the initial injections of the anaesthesia, this pain only lasts 2 minutes - this was the part I dreaded the most but it was completely fine. Not like the horror stories I’ve read on google and Reddit.

Would definitely recommend coming to MHR if you are looking at getting a hair transplant, all the staff are really helpful and kind.

I’m currently only halfway through my treatment at MHR Clinic in Harrogate, but I already felt compelled to leave a review because the results I’m seeing so far are honestly unbelievable.

Like many people considering treatment for hair loss, I was quite uncertain when I first took the plunge. It’s not a cheap fix, and for me it involves travelling over an hour to get to the clinic. However, I can genuinely say it has been completely worth both the time and the money. The key thing is to trust the process. I was so skeptical coming into my 8 month course of treatment, as I was so embarrassed about my hair loss. I honestly had absolutely nothing to worry about! i’m really happy with my experience here, i’ve seen my hair become a lot thicker during the treatment and i couldn’t be happier. the staff are absolutely amazing, i’m always greeted with smiles and given refreshments every time. i couldn’t recommend this place more!

For well over a year I had been living and suffering with the outcome of what could only be described as a ‘bad’ hair transplant that I had done in Turkey. I reached out to MHR and was welcomed to the clinic in Harrogate by the lovely Natalie at front of house, to then go on and have my initial consultation with the lovely Anna. Anna made me feel at ease from the start, her warm friendly approach along with her knowledge made me feel like a weight had been lifted. I then later went on to have my hair transplant correction surgery at the Knutsford clinic, and again, the whole process was nothing short of excellent. From the lovely branch manager Gillian, to my hair surgeon Dr Kunnure. I honestly can’t fault these guys, professional, caring and empathetic to your individual needs. I feel like they have all played a part in making me, feel like me again. I am truly grateful!

I visited the clinic for a free consultation around a year ago to discuss my options in relation to hair loss. The team were absolutely fantastic in helping me choose which path to go down. For me, it was laser therapy and I have to say, after a year, the results were amazing. Not only did I experience significant regrowth in my failing areas. But my existing hair became thicker and healthier giving a much more full look!! Would highly recommend!!
