Your product, well made and delivers as promised to a large extent. A breeze to install. My only slight misgivings are it’s kinda pricey, and I wish it could extend out another inch or two at the user... Toon meer

Easily Assembled.
I am not very mechanically inclined, but the Microvisor Hood was very easy to attach to my microwave oven and it continues to be a sturdy fit.

Need thicker spacersInstallation was a nightmare
Installation was a nightmare! If you have a microwave that is straight, should be no problem, however my microwave has a curved door & your 3/8 inch spacers did not cut it. I made my own 7/8 spacers and it worked fine. You need to fix this problem as I was ready to declare your product a piece of junk and send it back!

Easy to install
Easy to install, no special tools required, just a phillips screw driver. Seems to capture all steam/smoke and diverts to vent fan (make sure the fan is on).

Really works
Really works! We have always had problems with our smoke alarms going off when I make anything in the oven or on the stove. The vent on the microwave just doesn’t cut it. This thing is amazing!

The MicroVisor works really well
The MicroVisor works really well! My husband cooks a lot of fried foods on the stove and the microwave and upper cabinets constantly needed to be cleaned.
It does work well but the only thing is it looks kind of cheap. So after I use and clean it, I store it in the pantry.

Hi ,
Ty for your purchase and review! We hope you are enjoying your Microvisor. Cheap?! We use #304 stainless, and the majority of our customers feel otherwise :) Nonetheless, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. We thank you anyway! Please send us an installation picture in full context to:

Good hood extension
Hood extension works very well, as long as the microwave fan has a high cfm draw, and is vented to the outdoors. The fan on my microwave is ~400 cfm and vents directly out of the kitchen wall to the outdoors. The hood extension helps direct the cooking fumes to the fan and eliminates about 80% of smoke/fumes that would otherwise come into the kitchen area.

It meets my expectations. It helps pick up and the smoke/smells from what we cook on the stove, and directs it towards the exhaust system.
