Amazing product, could use a slight redesign on how solid the mounting is.
The actual product is great. Works as described and has really made cooking a more enjoyable experience now that we worry less about setting the fire alarm off or raising the indoor AQI (we have a detector) too much. We have birds which are very sensitive to AQI.
The only constructive criticism I have is that I immediately did not trust mounting this with the hardware present on my microwave. I decided to drill out a bar existing on the microwave, install 3 m6 rivnuts and then enlarged the holes through everything in order to really get a solid mount. I had some left over automotive m6 bolts with a philips drive, which made it possible to install without having to modify the provided mounting bar much. My wife and I are a bit accident prone and we've already bumped the hood a few times, I'm really happy with how solid it is now.

A savior from greasy closet doors
This product surely helps avoiding the cooking grease yo get to the top cupboard doors which is great.
I would surely recommend this product.

On time delivery and packaged to prevent damage. More importantly the micro visor 100 percent does the job. I haven't set off smoke alarms since. Time to install definitely fell within the 5 minutes advertised.

Ty for your purchase. You can not control the moisture and steam, and grease without our hood, and hence we made it quickly removable with 1 thumb screw when needed. 98% of our reviews are 5** for that simple ease of access.
Is grease all over your cabinets and ceiling the better alternative???????

It is working well
It is working well. There was a larger dent in the front, larger than we thought you would sell one with. But my husband "hammered" most of it out.

Since installing the microvisor hood
Since installing the microvisor hood, it seems the cooking fumes are more contained at the stove. The real test will be when we clean the tops of our overhead cabinets.

I love my Microvisor
We had the greatest experience with Microvisor Hood. First of all, it is a great product. In one day, I noticed how clean my cabinets remained after cooking dinner. The hood is so easy to assemble and to disassemble for cleaning purposes.
So happy with our purchase!
Second, the hood had a dent. Reached out to Microvisor and they immediately sent us a new hood.
