the app seems great but it dosent help the imangine being 7 years old and locking in on fruit ninja your so close to a new best of 23 (i wasnt very good) and then your game stops as some orb tells you to take deep breaths thats fine i wasnt angry though i was locked in the system is flawed if you wach speedrunners play if there on good pace there heartrate goes up sence the app mesures heartrate for anger it dosent work sence it uses arcade stlye skill based games like fruit ninja wich you have to lock in increseing your heartrate stopping the game IT MAKES NO SENCE

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with Mightier.

My child signed up for what was advertised as a 14-day free trial of their emotional regulation app. Unfortunately, the trial was not canceled in time, and without any additional confirmation or clear secondary authorization, I was charged $350 and sent the full equipment package — which I did not want and did not knowingly agree to purchase.

When I contacted customer service immediately to request a refund and return the equipment, I was told that their 90-day return policy only applies to customers who purchase the product outright at checkout — not to families whose free trial converts automatically into a full purchase if not canceled.

This policy feels misleading and predatory. A “free trial” that converts into a $350 charge with equipment shipment — especially when initiated by a child — should come with clearer safeguards, confirmation steps, or at minimum the same return protections offered to direct purchasers.

While the concept behind the program may be helpful for some families, I strongly encourage parents to read every detail carefully and understand that if you do not cancel the trial in time, you may be locked into a very expensive purchase with limited refund options.

I hope the company reconsiders this policy and adds more transparent protections for families.

I used Mightier with my children and unfortunately it wasn’t a good fit for them. They often found the app frustrating, and despite our efforts, it didn’t deliver the experience we hoped for.
What ultimately led to this review, though, was the refund experience. Mightier now offers a 90‑day money‑back guarantee, which clearly acknowledges that families need more than two weeks to meaningfully evaluate whether this product works for their children. I agree with that completely — two weeks is nowhere near enough time to understand whether something like this will help.
However, when I requested a refund, I was told that because I had signed up before the 90‑day guarantee existed, I was only eligible for the old 14‑day trial. There was no option at the time to choose between a 14‑day trial and a 90‑day guarantee. I paid upfront for six months after that trial — which was the only structure available — so I had no way to benefit from the new policy even though my situation is exactly the kind the new guarantee is meant to protect.
When a company updates its policy because the old one wasn’t sufficient, applying that improvement only to new customers creates unnecessary ill‑will. A retroactive application would have been the fair and customer‑friendly approach, especially for families who tried the product in good faith and found it didn’t work for their children.
Because of this experience, I can’t recommend Mightier. The product didn’t work for us, and the refund policy change — while a step in the right direction — wasn’t extended to the customers who needed it most.

The app claims to benefit the ADHD child, and that couldn't be farther from the truth. Maybe there's a chance if you're child couldn't care less about screens, but it's like giving an addict more heroin and expecting it to make them better. This is a sham.

Mightier worked and my daughter adapted to this fairly quickly. Her behavior has improved after a few months of using Mightier 30-minutes a day and a few YouTube videos. If we need it in the future, I'll definitely return. I almost feel bad for leaving because it actually was fun and worked! But Mightier did it's job. After a while, my daughter began to manipulate her heartbeat just so that she could calm down and get extra points in the game. Mightier taught her how to control her emotional state and the cause and effects of doing so. She almost never has outbursts anymore.

Mightier has made such a difference in how my 11 yr old daughter is able to regulate her emotions. She really enjoys the games and customer service is prompt and helpful. I’m really thankful for Mightier.

We have used The Mightier for several years with our children aged 5-9 who struggle with ADHD, emotional regulation, and feeling overwhelmed. The Mightier is a great TOOL to help kids learn calming techniques in a fun and consistent way (if you are playing regularly). Like every tool, this is not an instant miracle worker but I solidly believe that it does work to help kids with emotional regulation with consistency.

The games are cute and fun. Yes, my kids sometimes got frustrated but that was the whole point of the system is to create moments of frustration in order to practice the calm down techniques.

The biofeedback system is so creative and is so needed in the ADHD/ASD/Anxiety world of parenting.

Customer service is EXCELLENT. Top notch—keep up the good work!

I love the customer service team. My son lost the watch early on and they were able to help me. I saw him use his cool down tools when overstimulated the day after starting using the app. they are truly top notch and they got a lifelong customer in me. Will resubscribe year after year for SURE!

This app was VERY helpful in teaching my son coping skills for overcoming his anxiety and getting him to actually use the skills in real life. My son’s anxiety and ADHD related behavior was so overwhelming that it was keeping him from going to school regularly from 2nd grade to 5th grade. I and two different counselors had tried to teach him skills to use but in the heat of the moment the skills went out the window. What was different and actually helped was using the Mightier app because it allowed him to use the skills in a low stakes gamified situation and build up his muscle memory. One day he told me about a situation he had at school where he used the skills and he realized that it worked so he could help himself self regulate. I think Mightier was very effective at helping him gain the ability to regulate his emotions even in stressful situations, after 6months of using the app he now no longer needs it. I also had very, very good customer service from the employees I interacted with. I live in Fiji and they were great in helping me work through the logistics of getting the tablet & accessories. I would highly recommend Mightier!!

The good, it really worked just as claimed and was an integral piece helping our kid become self aware before they went into "yuck" (term we use, inspired from a therapist). I think this might have jumped my 10 year old child to a sense of self awareness of overwhelming emotions I reached at age 30. In other words my child might be 20 years ahead of me in emotion development with help from this tool. It is not the only thing we've done this past year, but this piece did in fact help our child sense the feeling of when they are getting frustrated. Giving this child this power allowed them to feel in control of themselves and start practicing other communication skills.

The tiniest note is we could not get the software/monitor to work on all devices. But the company was very quick to troubleshoot and help us get up and running and everything worked out with minimal effort. I don't hold that against them developing custom software with hundreds of generations of operating systems and bluetooth.

MIghtier is a video game interface. My child's emotional regulation - as many studies are proving today - is made worse by video games and screens. 2 days using this app and he was getting up early demanding to play the games using this app. I was shocked to see this is how they chose to execute what seems to be a great concept - ie using Sports video games vs a less addicting and more "soothing" content even when trying to elicit a HR response. Not for us, we binned it as it made tantrums worse (at least in initial use)

We signed up for Mightier to help support emotional regulation goals for our kiddos. They both love the games and absolutely experienced growth and awareness around regulation. Highly recommend!

Mightier brought positive and effective change to our kids and family. We sought Mightier because one of our kids was diagnosed with borderline ADHD, but he was still young and we were not ready to try medicine. We felt that he still had some development work to do and we could change our behaviors as a family to support him better before we ask him to change to us. Mightier became a tool within that plan. He loves video games and we didn't allow a lot of screen time prior to this, so Mightier felt like a huge treat. The excellent graphics, games, and encouragement with in-app rewards kept them excited for the program. The breathing and calming exercises brought awareness to our kids about their own body, and that overflowed into daily life. 6 months later, our son's signs of ADHD have significantly reduced and affect him less in school and at home. We believe Mightier helped us give him time to develop and evaluate his needs more, because we provided him tools to understand his body better.

Mightier was truly the product that caused a turning point with our little one. Before using it, he struggled with emotions and couldn't control his temper. After a year of use, he has so much control and is able to manage his emotions so well. He is doing so much better in school and his friendships are flourishing.

It really works! We had a rough year with the transition to elementary school last year. Our oldest son was getting into physical fights with kids at recess. My mom found Mightier through a google search and it was such a great idea, we just had to give it a try! Our kiddo is so much HAPPIER this year! Every day he is excited to go to school and happy when he gets home from having another great day. I think Mightier was a real breakthrough for us as parents as well. We were so scared to introduce screen time, let alone video games before the pandemic hit... once virtual education became a necessity our screen time perspective had to be re-considered. Mightier provided an intuitive and SAFE way for us to introduce healthy gaming habits and expectations to our children. They love playing. They know that if they don't share nicely, fairly, and respectfully with each other, they won't get to play. And I have seen them all grow because of this interaction with the game and with each other. Thank you Mightier! What a brilliant resource!

Our 6 year old son LOVES Mightier; always asks to play it. And we have noticed a real difference in his ability to self-regulate through the game.

This was great for our 7yr old son who often would get frustrated easily and have outbursts.
He would always get frustrated and more angry if I told him to breathe. This helped him learn to do that ina fun way.
We subscribed for 1 yr and after that decided to pause on it. He has been better and sometimes when he's frustrated I see him go off alone into a different room and then come back calm. I'm sure part of it was just him growing up, but I do think mightier helped as well. He is not diagnosed with anything specific, just a regular kid getting angry.

They do charge you again automatically for the following year, so be on top of that . Their support is super helpful and friendly for anything needed.

This is a really great program and the games are fun for the kids. Many different ways for kids to work on their frustrations and ability to calm down.

My son was intrigued from the start and was able to quickly understand the concept. I noticed even on the first day how successful he was a bringing his heart rate down with breathing. Thank you Mightier for helping my son is such a quick turnaround timeframe!
