Helpful and easy-to-use platform for finding recovery options.

I attempted to submit multiple detailed reviews on Recovery.com over the course of several months. Despite my efforts, only a single, meaningless sentence was ever published — and only after I objected to a dismissive email claiming my submissions “did not meet guidelines.” That one sentence does not reflect my experience at all.

Throughout this process, I faced weeks of delays, no acknowledgment of emails, and repeated requests that ignored the documentation I provided. Recovery.com’s attempts to have me remove or amend external reviews are absurd and inappropriate, given that they themselves fail to provide accurate, timely, or transparent handling of user feedback.

If you rely on this platform to make decisions about treatment providers, think twice. Recovery.com routinely mishandles reviews, silences detailed feedback, and presents an incomplete, misleading picture. Until they seriously improve how they manage reviews, I cannot trust or recommend this platform.

The website is so inaccurate and refuses to post factual reviews about the rehabs or facilities they promote. Because if you don’t have anything good to say, they call it profanity. Do not trust this website, I had the worst experience at a rehab and tried to post my review 6 TIMES and they refused.

I love what this business is doing because it can be so hard to find where to start when someone is looking for help. This business is helping to correct decades of unethical practices in the Addiction and mental health industry. They have a vetting process, actually meeting with the owners/directors of the treatment programs they list. Their leadership members are tireless advocates in the community, partnering with local recovery non-profits, and not just for good PR but because they actually care. I can confirm they hold themselves to the highest ethical standards and I admire the healthy culture of their workplace

Very helpful to get straight honest answers on a full range of recovery resources. Amazing people with a tangible sense of mission and service to supporting best outcomes for everyone touched by addiction and navigating successful recovery.

As a professional making referrals to treatment centers and facilities throughout the country, I am extremely grateful that recovery.com has created this tremendously important resource. The time I had spent making calls and inquiries was extremely time consuming. Access to every imaginable type of modality is now available within minutes and as a person that has limited technical skills, I am thrilled to be able to navigate their website!

They are fraudsters promoting bad rehab centers by charging money. This is very unethical and unfair to people trying to make a recovery.
