Digital instructions are clear. Real person with clear English in the tutorial videos. Customer service is excellent and promptly responsive. Yarn is beginner friendly and does not split. I’m very happy with this company and I just ordered some more kits!

Well I did pre order so that it took a while for the set to arrive was ok... only to find out the pattern was not ready yet. so I waited again. after 2 weeks the pattern was online, well a crochet along video that was. not a written pattern. When I ordered I got a deal that said I would get an mystery crochet worth 35 euro. turns out it's only a pattern and not a full set as the will lead you to believe.

I feel tricked and would advise to not spend a dime on this shop.

I’ve been thinking about trying crochet forever & finally gave in thanks to the relentless social media influencing haha. I’m so glad I did! This kit does a great job for a beginner, from the yarn quality to the easy to follow instructions. I only got lost a few times & the piece still turned out super cute! I appreciate the instructions being clear about things like when it’s ok if something isn’t matching up exactly & anticipating common issues like forgetting to put in a stitch marker. That made the whole thing fun & I never felt like giving up. Excited to try another kit now! The Pin and Tin were such a cute surprise as well

Do not buy! They don't have any pattern for what they are selling. This is a fake company and fake kits.

I loved my kit and was honestly not expecting the tutorial videos to be so well put together!

It was clear to me that I would be receiving a PDF mystery pattern which they did deliver immediately after purchasing so I don’t know why people are complaining. I guess most don’t pay attention 🤷‍♀️

The pin and tin are absolutely adorable as well! Also their customer support was lovely, Lyra replied to me within the hour and helped me with my inquiry immediately. Would buy again

Have not attempted the kit and itay be good but they are lying on their website saying if you preorder you will receive a mystery additional kit that they value at £30. This is a lye when mine turned up with out this I contacted them and got told that actually this was just a pdf pattern. I don't like being lied to so no matter how good it is I will not buy from them again. Also they did not send the link to the pdf till I contacted their customer services.

Finally received my order today having waiting nearly 2 months only to find that the ‘free kit’ I was expected with my 2 paid of kits hasn’t arrived. I contacted customer services only to be told that actually it was a mistake and the free item was actually just a downloadable pattern. However the value given on my order confirmation was £31 (reduced to 0) which is the price of a full kit - and the image shows yarn, a crochet hook and a crocheted character. Buyer beware they are not fulfilling their obligations. I’ll be going back to Shopify and requesting a refund if they don’t send out a third kit.

Took well over a month to arrive and, when it did arrive, there was a missing "mystery crotchet" which turns out is just a crotchet guide rather than another kit. Incredibly misleading advertising. I would avoid ordering from this company and I will not be purchasing again.

AVOID!! Unless you like to waste your money of course. So sad this didn’t work out. Had promised my daughter the super cute owl, what we received was a beautifully packaged bunch of equipment that will never produce an owl! No free kit and arrived 2 months after I ordered. No response to multiple emails to return order for a refund so bye bye £30 😢 must do more research before clicking on an Instagram ad. More fool me!

This was supposed to be something to do with my partner however my order was missing the free bonus kit.

The other free bonus gifts are very poor quality and quite obviously falsely priced.

Took 4-5 weeks for delivery from dispatch, coming from China…dropship.

Contacted customer services to complete the order, will update if necessary.

Update: received a email reply ‘explaining’ that the free bonus gift was in fact a downloadable pattern pdf:

I ordered the necromancer and druid crochet kits back in August. I had to email in September to get confirmation that the order was delayed until end of September, however it only arrived today.

At face value it looks well packaged. The images on the outside matches the ads. That's about as far as it goes.

The yarns for the main body don't match, they are more pastel where the ad photos are bold dark browns and purples.

The instructions are supposed to be accessible as a pdf and tutorial videos via a QR code on a card with each kit.
The necromancer QR code was the only one that worked, and while the video tutorials were correct, the PDF was for another product on their site (Mable the cow). I figured out a potential link for the druid kit, however the only relevant info was the topic and head pic. Both the pdf and video tutorial was for the mable the cow tutorial.

My package was also missing a free kit.
From another comment it sounds like this was miss-sold and is actually just a free pdf, which I also don't have.

I've contacted mini crafts to request the pdf patterns or a refund.
They have terms on their site saying no refunds will be issued, so we'll see how they handle my request.
If I get no response I will be contacting my bank and trading standards.

Ordered in August and its now October and I still havent received it. They assured me it was on its way but I am still waiting. I am starting to wonder if they are a real company and actually send these kits out or just scam people. Avoid!

Edit: After receiving the order I had things missing. I was quite frustrated with how many issues I had with this company. They really need to deal with deliveries mich better. I changed from a 1 star to a 3 because I did finally receive the order.

Product ordered in August and still hasn't left the distributer. Dropshipper. Avoid like the plague

This is not their original idea. They stole this idea from “the woobles” when it comes to video tutorials and the kits.

I was excited to try this and had hopes of gaining a new hobby. Although it is cute, this kit is not that beginner friendly... I had to rewatch the tutorials so many times and just ended up giving up out of frustration! I hate when companies make it seem like anyone can just easily learn really hard and compliacted crafts.

Physical patterns don't come with the product, just a QR code to the PDF. The PDFs are full of typos and are not beginner friendly, leaving several things and techniques unexplained. They are poorly written, for example, instructing you to crochet to row 19, then underneath saying you should've stopped about 8 rows ago to change the yarn. It should tell you within the pattern, in order, and include how to cast off/switch colours if truly for beginners as claimed.

The pre-order bonuses are presented deceptively, insinuating you get a free complete pack with pattern and materials, but on asking when I thought mine hadn't been sent, it's actually just another poorly written PDF, but they've said it's worth £40, so how lucky you are to get it for free as a preorder bonus! (When even the kit I paid for was half that price, and that at least had the materials.)
I wouldn't have bought the product if I didn't think it came with a second one as the preorder bonus.

The materials are nice, and some spare yarn is included for leeway, but that's all I can say as positives.

I had planned to try more and buy some as gifts once completing my one (Marvin the Pigeon) but given the above, I think I'll give it a miss as I relied more on YouTube than anything else. :(
Also, the link to the pigeon is on their site, you don't need to be logged in once you use the QR code so anyone can just share the URL and anyone can access the pattern - for free!

I emailed customer service when I thought they'd just not sent the second physical pack, and while Lyra was pleasant there was no real resolution and they said to let them know if there were anything to do to make it right, (probably more a token gesture of politeness).
Unfortunately unless I had a second packet as I thought I'd paid for/been expecting there isn't a solution.
I respect small artists, though this is an established company, but with a small artist it's more than a joke to act as if a PDF is RRP £40, present it deceptively as if it includes the yarn and everything, especially when the PDF is so poorly done!

This is such a shame as they have lovely looking patterns on their website, and on arrival the physical product is packaged nicely and comes across professionally, so it's more of a let down and disappointment than anything else.

Very disappointing. Took 2 months to receive order and crochet kit was incomplete. My kit was missing many of the threads required so is unusable. Products are overpriced, there are more reasonably priced crochet kits on the market. Don’t waste your money on this company.
