Believe everything written by the other reviewers, as I have had the same problems. I have only lost £2.50, but I am strongly considering taking them to small claims court, that way they will get a CCJ, County Court Judgement against them. No business wants this damming stain.
Have dealt with this company before with no problem. Items of good quality. Most recent order, found items missing although ticked off on the accompanying inventory. Tried to contact the company no response. Looking at reviews this appears normal behaviour.
I ordered from this company at the beginning of January 2026 and the order was stated to be delivered in 72 hours. Four weeks later, I have not been sent here to and I have tried to contact them through their website, by email, and by direct message on all their social networks without any response.
So it looks like my money is lost because I cannot even speak to someone to get a refund.
Iv ordered from here before and no problems was about 2 years ago. Now iv ordered in January 9th and order still not here. So I have looked at the reviews and just released i made a big mistake. Iv emailed them no response iv tried Facebook Instagram and LinkedIn still no reply. Im based in Ireland is there anyway I can put in a complaint been thats this company is in the UK.
Both recent orders have either been wrong, or items missing. Despite emailing many times, messaging on the chat bot and through messenger, absolutely no response. The phone is permanently engaged. Absolutely terrible company and no customer service!! Will never use again. BEWARE DO NOT USE
Very disappointing. I ordered a station sign from this company. I received a back scene! I emailed the company explaining the situation, they said they could not find any record of my order! So how could they send a parcel to my address?? I also sent a screen shot of the email I had from them, confirming the dispatch of the correct item!! Not impressed, as it was ordered in plenty of time for a Xmas present. I cannot recommend this company on current form.
Still waiting on my order from the 17th of October don't reply to the email I've sent waste of time hopefully I'll get my money back poor customer service wish I read all the reviews first but didn't will next time ordering from any company
I ordered some items from the company which were meant to be dispatched in a couple of days. They took weeks. They ignore emails. I got a Paypal refund and emailed the company as well to tell them this and not to send the order. Randomly they still did. I donated the refunded amount to Lichfied Hospice. Still No comms. Reward points not applied to the order. Company registration is 13711256 but not displayed on their website (illegal). Huge numbers of poor reviews on RMWeb and Ebay as well. Lots of spammy emails about clearance and special offers, often promoting items which are out of stock. Eventually Mr Gomm sent a global email to customers, though not all received this, saying he had been ill, someone looking after the company had screwed up, and he wanted to make things right and send out the outstanding items to people whose money he still has - and asking people to get in touch if they were missing items. If he was genuine in this belief then he would have posted a similar message on his Facebook, Instagram and Website, but he didn't. So there are lots of customers out there who have had no comms and no idea he is trying to sort this out.
EDIT TO ADD: it looks like despite his assurances, the situation is as bad as ever. Do not use this company. It is a disgrace. Google "RMWeb Model Railway Scenes". He has apparently now disconnected his phone. If you feel you must give it a try, use Paypal or a credit card.
If you are owed money and he is still not responding, then he has a linkedin profile (search "Pete Gomm" and "Mott")
Packaging delivered by Everi was damaged and items inside were missing. Emails to Mr Gumm have been ignored as though all the lights are on but nobody’s home. Also paid for next day delivery which arrived several days days late. This company should not be trading its customer service is non existent. Now need the bank to retrieve my card payment. Shame on you!! You asked me to review and frankly my review is ‘I wish I never found your company online. I will definitely never purchase from you again’
I have been a happy (even delighted) customer for many years - so much so that when buying from them I paid with a debit card because I felt safe and that there was no need to use a third party payment company to handle the finances and offer insurance if anything went wrong.
However for my most recent order some of the items were missing and despite my attempts to contact them MRS have not sent out the missing items. The only good thing is that I did manage to redeem some loyalty points so the financial loss is very small.
They did respond to my return request on one of the items that they had failed to supply, and I have been asked to review my purchases. But these actions may have been actioned by an automated computer programme rather than a real human.
I am very sad that this has happened and that other people have been hurt. I like the products they (used to) offer and had been planning to make further purchases from them.
ps: Trustpilot shows this business as being in the USA, which is a surprise to me as I have always known them to be located in south London, England / Great Britain.
Apalling lack of communication, accrued reward points never seem to be applied at checkout. Orders not dispatched for weeks. Doesn't respond to emails or chat messages. Check out RMWeb for more information. Has a Dormant company of the same name and address operating but the business appears to be trading outside of this, or at least doesn't display the company number on its website.
No product delivered despite the order and despatch emails being sent to me and the money being taken. No responses to web, email or Facebook queries about status. Gave up and sought credit card refund. Much better supplier quickly provided the required goods.
One of the worst online suppliers of model railway equipment I have ever come across. My order was never delivered and a replacement package was promised, which also was never received. Any communication I attempted to make with them to ascertain what was going on has never been responded to. A request for a refund has been ignored and I'm having to ask my bank to organise a chargeback. It started off fine with small purchases, but as soon as I ordered a more costly package the outcome has been an unacceptable fiasco of non delivery, no communication and no refund, and I'm apparently not the first to be shafted in a similar way by them according to other negative eBay reviews regarding their eBay 'Store'.
