Ordered Abaya for my wife but the colour is slightly darker and there was no ribbon included.

I have been told that there is no refund policy and they are going to post the ribbon.its too late now. I had to go out buy something else for wedding function.

Under the UK law it is not legal to not accept refund.

Totally disappointed experience and waste of money.

I will be complaining to citizens bureau. Here is the law

Under UK online shopping rules (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013), you have 14 days to notify a website that you want to cancel and get a refund, plus another 14 days to send back non-faulty items. If the website refuses or blocks your return unlawfully, you can dispute the payment via your bank or seek guidance from Citizens Advice.

I’m absolutely in love with my knit abayas from Modesty By Aisha. They’re exactly what I’ve always wanted! Perfect for these chilly winter days! The size, length, material are all wonderful and it’s not figure hugging (which I wanted, to be modest). The zip at the back makes it easy to put on, and I even wore it back to front to see if the zip would be long enough to make it nursing friendly and it just about is due to the stretch in the material! Which makes me even happier with the purchase. I got one in brown and one in nude and they’re soo beautiful! They’re now my staple winter abayas. Fast shipping too.

Beautiful Quality Abaya Navy blue set
I purchased this abaya for my SIL as a gift, the quality is spot on, looks beautiful and classic. Like the fact it has a belt & cover up open kaftan that goes with it! Price not too bad for a set, fast delivery too! Appreciate it will order more from this seller 💚🤍🩷

Hind Linen Abaya- I had a very disappointing experience with Modesty by Aisha and would strongly advise others to avoid purchasing from this business. I ordered what was advertised as a linen abaya, but what I received was a cheap, see through polyester garment that was nothing like what was described.

After receiving the item, I reached out to request a return, but due to their strict no-refund policy, I instead proposed an exchange for the correct item, a reasonable compromise. Unfortunately, despite following up, I have not received any response for over two weeks now. The lack of communication and customer service is extremely frustrating.

I strongly recommend that others avoid purchasing from this brand. The misleading product descriptions combined with poor customer support make it a risky and disappointing shopping experience. Spend your money elsewhere.

Upon submitting this review, I was contacted by Modesty by Aisha. She was deeply apologetic about missing the email and reassured me that she would investigate. Although she did kindly offer to refund the cost of the dress as well as delivery as compensation, she was unable to replace the abaya with the correct item in order to 'quality check' the stock.
It seems that the mistake was made by her tailor according to Aisha and she was apologetic. I was requested to delete my review in return of a free gift after receiving the refund, but I pointed out that I'm more than happy to update this review as my concerns were certainly valid. Aisha was not averse to this Alhamdulillāh.

I have changed the 1* rating to a 3* rating due to her attempt to resolve my concern and quick refund.

Asalamoualaikum I bought a few abayas from this lovely sister and I must say I've always had a very good service. Communication was always easy to deal with on the Insta page. I have always messaged her to ask guidance for the sizes and she has always replied me. On my most recent purcahse before ramadan I got the lovely bow open abaya which I wore yesterday and I had so many compliments and I must admit that the abaya did look really elegant as I wore an exact colour hijab instead of the black one provided. I feel very proud wearing an abaya as it's modest and elegant at the same time. Am shocked to see awful reviews on here but Wallahi I've never faced any issues this is why I keep supporting this sister in her business and will continue to do so.

Non existent customer service. Paid extra for first class delivery (1-2 working days), have not received any update on when my order will arrive, no response on email and the day by which I needed the abayas has passed (and I still don’t have them anyway). Such a let down

Sizes of items are different than on the website. Their customer service is nonexistent. I have reached out across platforms and emails to exchange my items for a better size as they didn't come as I ordered. No responses have been given and I have lost my money and am stuck with clothes I can't wear. The same clothes are available on other sites at lower price and better service. They don't even keep to their own policies. Dishonest.

Bought an abaya for my mother as a birthday present first order was received fine however didn’t fit therefore I was told to send it back for an exchange, I sent it back via Royal Mail as told to do, however it was not collected by Aisha or anyone else for two weeks as she did not tell me she was on holiday, I did not think to put a return address as she had told me to send it back and she would sort it . 4 weeks later she tells me she hasn’t received the order so can’t exchange it and Royal Mail have left her a note saying to collect and now as it’s not been collected for 1 month they have binned the parcel. I also had to pay for dleivery. So all together I’m about £55 out of pocket. No solution was provided by the company. I normally never deal with small businesses and this experience has reminded me why overall a bad experience most definitely will avoid small insta businesses in the future. Not worth the hassle or time

The shimmer satin abaya is very bad material, looks and feels cheap not worth £35 really poor quality.

Was looking forward to finding a reliable place to buy abayas. Unfortunately had a very bad experience with modesty by Aisha. Placed order on a Tuesday, paid 1st class delivery 1-2 days. Order was finally delivered the following Tuesday. Their response was that the delivery time starts after the dispatch date. Nonsense. Very unapologetic and almost mocking. When realised the order was sent 2nd class they refunded the £1 difference. Even though I explained that by the time it arrived it was no longer needed. They explained they have a no refund policy. Even though they are the one that made the mistake by sending second class. Will not buy from there again. Very disappointing.
