I ordered two books, they sent one, I complained, they sent the same one again. I complained and said they were sending the other book I had bought. This didn't arrive. I complained again. I got the book I ordered over 7 weeks after ordering. Awful, disorganised company

Avoid at all costs… first book didn’t arrive, eventually replied to my email and said no tracking, they would send another - still not arrived !

This was a Christmas present, really disappointing !

I was informed my book was unavailable & was on back order so I tried to cancel, but after some very mixed messages the book arrived anyway. I was advised to send it back but as the emails had been so inconsistent I wasn't confident that I'd get my refund. I kept the book & found it a home with a friend. The book was fine, the communication wasn’t. I wouldn't use monster bookshop again.

No problems. Everything arrived on time and in order.

No confirmation email after I placed the order. Book didn't arrive for over 4 weeks, I called them up to find out where my order was, was told it was 'dispatched' but never delivered. Was then told it would be another 2 weeks until they could deliver again. Over a month to receive my order. Finally arrived not sure it would of ever arrived I not chased them.

Placed order overseas (Finland). Quick responce of successful purchase. Collectible book was well packed and arrived to our mailbox in best shape. Service was simple and delivery quick. Thank you.

Awful. Ordered a book, told there was a delay and could cancel the order and get a refund if I wanted instead of waiting. I opted for a refund but am still waiting two months later. Chased up and was advised book has since been sent, but it has never arrived. Will never use again.

I placed my order and package arrived promptly. Goods were in excellent condition as expected. All was as it should be despite Christmas post.

I ordered a book from this seller on september last year 2023 and I am still awaiting delivery. Tried and failed repeated times to contact them left messages sent emails..etc they are scam artists who take peoples hard earned cash and rip them off. DO YOURSELF A MASSIVE FAVOUR AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Bought a used book via Abebooks, price was low but the description was ‘used but in excellent condition’. The book was ex-library and in very poor condition, in my judgement - pages very discoloured with marks all over. Wouldn’t recommend. Not worth the postage to return it.

I ordered a book that was supposed to be new.
It arrived with damage clearly because of the bad packaging (a plastic bag).

I wanted to send it back, but I had to pay the return postage myself. I won't be doing that.

I will never order from Monster Bookshop again.

If you like to receive your items in good condition, DON'T ORDER from Monster Bookshop.

Ordered a book on 16th of Dec, now 10th Jan and still not arrived. I have emailed (no response or acknowledgement), I have called (line just rings out forever), I have tried to track my order but the constantly says the website is under repair (funnily enough it wasn't when it took my money).

Wish I'd read these reviews before purchasing. I have no book (£25 as it was for a gift) and no way of contacting for my money back.

Avoid!

Not sure if it was a problem with Monster Bookshop or the delivery company, but my order never arrived and when I contacted Monster Bookshop weeks later about it, they did not offer to do anything to try and get my books to me just waited until I requested a refund and sent my money back.

Ordered 2 books 12 days ago. One was delivered within a few days, I emailed to check the other one was being delivered, they said there was high demand and a delay but promised to have it delivered by today. It was not delivered today. The book was an important Christmas gift. Looking at other reviews this place seems to be run by morons.
