First time I used this shop and definitely would not use them again. I ordered a book, they took payment, no response for days, no book, nothing, got my money back from paypal. Complete waste of time. It was like they didn't even exist.

Book never arrived, no response to many emails, had to claim refund via my bank.

Brilliant, the books I wanted, delivered quickly.

I've only ever ordered used books from them, half of which never turned up. The ones that have arrived were as described, but I'd love to know how the others disappeared

I was very happy with the book I ordered. The only reason I’ve knocked off a star is that the delivery tracking didn’t work and even now (after I’ve already received the book) the status on whistl still says “collection scheduled.”

Ordered marine charts. First package went missing with courier, but replacement sent promptly with no hassle. Arrived well packed. Very good service.

I finally ordered the book from another company and received it after 2 days, i will never use Monster Bookshop again

Don't buy from here books either don't arrive or come damaged

The reviews here are in this case TOTALLY unrealistic. This bookshop sells a lot, so something will go wrong from time to time. But only those seem to have left word? I received what I payed for! Also from orders with several UK bookshops, this was the only one to ship in a box, rather than some flimsy foil! And to Belgium, without tax fines! But you don't have to believe me, you can use Ebay where they also sell. And do post those good experiences too!

Book was delivered in perfect condition and is what I ordered. However, it didn’t arrive in the time frame quoted “3-5 business days”. Delivery time wouldn’t bother me if it was quoted accurately as around 3 weeks.

I received the book promptly but it was damaged on the cover during delivery. I notified Monster Books and they immediately sorted the problem out by sending out another copy. I gave 4 stars because I didn’t think the packing was strong enough but the replacement book came in much stronger packaging. My experience was good

I made the mistake of paying via Apple pay which changed the delivery address to an old one, after a last minute quick call to the store the guys were able to get it all changed over without any issues. Very helpful would highly recommend :)

I ordered a Joke Book for my grandson in the 25th August. I emailed Monster Bookshop asking about delivery. They sent an email stating it would be approximately the 31st August/1st September. I was very disappointed by the length of time. It was delivered on the 2nd September and they charged me £1.03p for delivery! Given it took eight days to deliver and they charged me I will not use this site again.

Three weeks after ordering a book and being told it was dispatched I had to chase the seller who then said they couldn't track the package.

Subsequently they said it wasn't actually dispatched and couldn't source the book, even though they had sold it to me three weeks prior.

Don't buy your books here. They can't track packages and they sell stock they don't have

Book has not arrived. Scam?
