I was impressed with Morocco Tours from its website and the possibility of preparing a truly individualized private tour for my family of four.
After making contact with the staff, I was assured they would be putting
together the perfect trip for us. We had several issues that needed to be
recognized(older, slower walking gentlemen, hard of hearing clients, wanting to go to specific restaurants we had heard about, etc. plus
we wanted it to be considered deluxe. In every way, this trip was
exactly what we wished for. The driver, Hassani, was a pure delight
and would do anything we wanted to do. The guides in Fes and
Marrakech were terrific - knowledgable and helpful. Everyone felt
like they were our new best friend. The hotels were all wonderful
and the food was delicious whether it was in a great riad or in a small
town on the way to someplace else. We loved seeing the countryside,
which was very beautiful. Some days the car rides were a little long,
but it was necessary to get to where we wanted to go. The tent experience and camel ride were a big treat. It was wonderful to learn
so much about the culture and to see so many World Heritage Sites.
Ending the trip the evening before we flew out of Casablanca at Rick's Cafe was better than we ever expected. Delightful place and great
food. Could not wait to come home and tell everyone about this
wonderful travel adventure we had.

12 day itinerary was well organized, covered the main cities in Morocco plus the incredible, diverse geography and rich culture. The local tour guides were mainly very good, only one was a disappointment. The five star accommodations were high quality. The night in the Sahara required considerable organization, all handled flawlessly.

As a solo traveller with one driver for almost two weeks, the right driver was critical. Indeed the driver can make or break the overall experience. Tarik was professional, courteous, punctual, responsive and knowledgeable.

Correspondence with the office (pre and post) was managed by Kit and Ruth quickly and efficiently. They provided everything I needed from the practical such as hotel vouchers to welcome insights on shopping and tipping practices.

I'm considering Tunisia next year and if I go I'll use them again.

We live in Australia and went as a party of four to Morocco. The American company were a pleasure to deal with in designing our tour and processing the paperwork.

In Morocco, everything went smoothly with the local guides. Our driver, Khalid, was skilful at the driving, entertaining and knowledgeable. Would recommend to other Australians wanting to arrange a trip to Morocco.

We thought we would travel to Morocco only once. After our extraordinary experience with Morocco Tours, we can't wait to go back. We spent 13 days traveling around the country and loved every minute of it. We have become Morocco ambassadors and at every opportunity recommend to our friends to travel with Morocco Tours. Our experience with everyone in the company - Kit, Jeff and Ruth - was first class. Great customer service - nothing was too much trouble, proactive, flexible, patient! Our standout experience with Morocco Tours was our brilliant driver, Ahmed. He was gracious, had impeccable manners, patient, thoughtful, good humoured and good company. We also valued his knowledge, experience, driving skills, network of contacts and care. We completely relaxed in his charge. Nothing was too much trouble. Ahmed really enhanced our positive experience of Morocco.
The country is a treasure trove of experiences - steeped in history, culture, contradictions, spectacular geography and sensational food. We fervently hope to go back and, if we do, it will be with Morocco Tours.

We had a fabulous time on our trip. Our driver, Abdel turned out to be a friend who would do anything for us. The accommodations were as good or better than the U.S. mostly. We saw sights that were like 2000 years ago and learned about history and events we would have never known of. Morocco is definitely an up and coming country as the gateway to Africa.
The only downside was the poor sanitation when you get out in the countryside. "Holes in the floor" and no soap! Be sure and bring a lot of hand sanitizer. Upgrading that seems to be the country's number one need in our opinion. We would highly recommend this tour company. All of our anxieties about this trip were unfounded and we felt very safe.

Tour was as advertised, high quality accommodation especially the Riads; Lina Ryad in Chefchaouen, Riad Myra and Riad L'Orangeraie in Marrakech were spot on-all different in their own ways and staff very welcoming and helpful. Chefchaouen, the camel and desert trip and Marrakech were the highlights although all places were interesting. The driver, Driss was very helpful, directing us to good restaurants, food spots and well organised-. one minor suggestion would be to supply bottled water in the car . Having free days especially in Fez and Marrakech is great and necessary, there are a few days of long car journeys although broken by sights such as roman ruins and interesting Berber villages especially in the spectacular Atlas Mountains. Our tour didn't include Tangier and on refection I would have included it. We finished our tour in Essaouria and spent a wonderful restful week there giving us a chance to meet the locals, also spent 3 extra days in Casablanca, maybe 2 would be enough but there is interesting Art Deco architecture, including Ricks Cafe to see. I would recommend Experience It Tours , as an American company it caters mainly for the US market but you can adapt to suit your individual travel likes.

We had a great experience with Morocco Tours. From booking our trip, handling payment, and constant communication from staff. Once we arrived in Morocco, we had an excellent driver, Rashid, who took us around for the entire 11 days. The hotels and experience in each city was unforgettable.

I would advise that the drive through the Atlas Mountains to get to the desert is long but we loved the desert experience. We also wished we were able to see the city of Chefchaoun, which was not mentioned at all while booking and customizing trip.

The communication with owner of the company Jeff was terrific and he was constantly in touch to follow up with details. We hired a driver with 4 wheel drive who spoke excellent English. We were able to organise our own itinerary as it was the quite season. We spent 7 night touring between Fez and Marrakesh. The vehicle was a Toyota Landcruiser in good condition with air conditioning which was much needed in the summer. Great trip.

Diane and I had a very exciting visit to Morocco. We enjoyed the diversity of scenery, and the exposure to the cultures of the Moroccan people. Our guide, Abdel, had a thorough knowledge of the history, and we were impressed with his discussions of the differences and similarities of Western and Moroccan societies. He was very organized, and his desire to have us exposed to the various aspects of Moroccan life exceeded our expectations. Our driver, Aziz, made us feel secure with his skillful and safe driving.
The visits to the medinas were interesting and exciting, providing ample opportunities for shopping. Abdel did very well to prevent us losing our way in the many winding, narrow paths.
The tangine and cous-cous was tasty, although we must confess that we were longing for Western dishes at the end of the trip.
There were many highlights along the way. However, the two standouts were our visit to the Sahara desert where we rode the camels, and our lunch at Abdel's home, where we participated in the preparation of a local meal and interacted with members of Abdel's family. We can not emphasize how wonderful and thoughtful a person Abdel is, and he certainly went beyond his duty to insure that we had an enjoyable and authentic visit to Morocco. He welcomed us to his home and made us feel that we were part of his family.

Because of the positive experience, we will surely return to add to our memories of the land and people of Morocco, and we will highly recommend Morocco Tours/Experience It Tours to family and friends.

I truly cannot speak highly enough about this tour company. We started planning our trip about six months in advance and every step of the way the folks at Morocco Tours were incredibly helpful, kind and hardworking. My family wanted to create a custom 9 day experience in Morocco based off the Best of Morocco agenda and Kit was absolutely fantastic at adjusting our schedule to fit the types of activities WE wanted to partake in. They took all the knowledge they had about our family and interests and created such a memorable and personalized experience for us. They set us up with the absolute BEST private driver for the week (Majid) who truly treated us like his own family and was incredibly flexible with our ever changing needs on the trip. The restaurants they took us to were phenomenal and very reasonably priced. The sites were absolutely breathtaking. The riads and hotels were perfect and hospitable in ways that were unimaginable. I could honestly speak for days on this tour company and how amazing they were. Our family will certainly return to Morocco because of this experience and we are recommending Morocco Tours to everyone we can!

Our complaints really only have to do with our driver. The first 3 days of our trip he was great, then Ramadan started and he stopped being helpful and informative on our trip. He wouldn't stop for lunch for us. We would get in the car at 9 AM and arrive at our next city between 2-4 depending on where we were going. We had no idea where to stop along the way and the tour brochure stated that our driver would stop somewhere for lunch for us. We had to beg him to stop at a gas station for us. He knew we weren't participating in Ramadan and the tour brochure told us that lunch would be available. When we would arrive at the hotel he would want to go take a nap because he was tired, so he would drop us off without much of an orientation to the city or an overview of where to go or what to do. It wasted a lot of time and caused us to miss out on several attractions. We didn't mind the slower pace of life due to Ramadan, but we did feel that if our driver couldn't do his job properly then he shouldn't have accepted the tour. It was so bad that on the last day we had to stop at a rest stop so he could rest. We were left to sit there in the heat while he went to rest. Very unprofessional!

wonderful country to visit. Very warm and welcoming. Possibly too much time driving per day. Very good guide, Ilyass, and also site guides were good. Food was too limited. The menus were almost identical, with tagine and kabobs being the choice most days. Surely Morocco has other dishes? Cous Cous was offered twice. Only saw lamb on menu once. Hotels very good. Shopping was limited, as our local guide wanted us to go to "his places", and we, therefore, didn't always get what we were looking for. We were hastily sped past the stores that looked interesting to us. On the whole it was a very memorable trip and I only mention the down side because that is what you need to know.

My wife and I just returned from a private tour of Morocco with Morocco Tours. Both the trip and the company were outstanding. I had many questions in the planning phase and they were all answered in detail and promptly. There was no "set" itinerary. We made changes to reflect what we wanted to do. The recommendations of the company as far as riads (Moroccan style luxury B+B) were great. We are well traveled and the suites we stayed in rival any.
Once arriving in Morocco, we were treated as visiting friends. Our guide, Youssef was great. His English was perfect and he was willing to share his knowledge of his country and culture with us, with no exceptions. He helped with every detail while we were there and he was interested in showing those things that we found most interesting. We never got the feeling that he had a time schedule. One of the highlights of the trip was having the opportunity to have dinner with his family. It was very genuine and they made us feel most welcomed.
I highly recommend this company.

All communications with the company were very responsive and timely. The individual tour was extremely well organised and the driver, the tour guides and the accommodation they chose for us were all terrific.
