Very poor customer service
Very poor customer service, I recently purchased a range rover evoque autobiography phev, the most expensive car I have bought, but my experience as a customer was very disappointing. I seen the car online and fell in love with it , as I would be travelling up from county limerick I was able to put a deposit on it and have it held for me until I could travel up for it the following week. I was dealing with Camin , who told me the car would be fully charged for me, had 4 new tyres and valeted etc... When I went to collect the car, the battery was at 2%, when I questioned that I was told their charging point was out of service, so ok disappointing but I understand it can happen, then I check to see if I have a spare tyre or puncture repair kit .......open the boot and there is nothing in there except for the charging cable, again I questioned this and Camin said o I'll grab one from another vehicle just remind me.........three times I had to ask for the kit . I then pointed out that the smart key battery was low and washer fluid was also low, so Camin said he would sort it out while we did the paperwork. When we went back to the car after the paper work Camin asked me if the issues were gone off the dashboard (smart key low, and washer fluid) i said yea they are gone.........I didn't reach the m50 before the same warning lights came back on!!! A few days later I realised I forgot to check for the lock nut, so I searched the car from top to bottom......no lock nut.....I rang Camin, no answer, rang the office, im told they will pass on the message, a few days later I finally get Camin on the phone explained there's no lock nut in the car and that I didn't want to have to drive a 4hour round trip for a lock nut and asked could he post it out, which he said he would. I watched the post for 2 weeks got nothing, ring Camin no answer, the office says they will pass on my message, after another week of unanswered calls, I ring the office and ask to speak to the sales manager (Camin answers this call) but sales manager is busy will have to call me back , I explain my issue im waiting over3weeks for a locknut to be posted to me, only to be told that the lock nut has been lost!!!! I was given two options either travel 2hours back up to them or go to my local land-rover dealer for a quote for new set of locknuts and motorcorp will cover the costs. So I got a quote which was approx €400 , and sent it to Motorcorp. Now im contacted by Dillon from aftersales, who tells me they would never have posted out a lock nut in the first place , and denies that they lost it!!!!! I said Camin told me it was lost in the workshop, Dillon said no way they lost it, I said well it wasn't in the car, and ye put 4 new tyres on it before I bought it so where did it go? Dillon said I'd have to bring the car back up to them, they would take it to land rover and get the nuts changed. I asked if they would cover my petrol costs as they had lost the locknut, Dillon said no we won't do that, I told him this is ridiculous and that I wasn't happy. He booked me in for the following Monday morning to have the nuts changed. So 2 hour drive back up to where I bought it only to find out that's not where I was to go as that was only sales I had to go to services ( I could have been told that on the phone call previously but wasn't) drove over to service building, I was met at the door and was told we will be as quick as we can, I said no problem. The guy drove away with my car .......5 minutes later my car pulls back into the car park the guy walks in and shows me a lock nut and says "all sorted will I put it in the boot where it should have been" to which my husband says that's ok I'll take it thanks! No new set of nuts.. .. just the lock nut from the original set.......that could have been posted to me instead of having to drive 4hour round trip !!!!! Totally unprofessional people to deal with i would not recommend them based on my experience.
