I usually hate buying cars but this was a great experience. We were helped by Gavin in sales and I have to say, the transaction was brilliant! Smooth, well informed and honest throughout. We’ll definitely be going there again and I can recommend Oldbury without a doubt. Car was value for money and straightforward to buy, I felt they actually listened to what we wanted (which is rare) and they pulled out all the stops to get the car quickly. Efficient and no nonsense with a great car at the end of it. Warranty looked inclusive too.

Wide choice of cars available. Friendly & approachable staff. QR code on each vehicle to obtain full details; was able to save & compare. Offered fair price on exchange. Expected up-sell, but not overly pushy. This is the second time using Oldbury Motorpoint & will probably visit again.

Very helpful and on time

Matt was really helpful from the moment we got there to the moment we left. It was nice to be left to look at the cars without someone following us around like other places. Was simple to just go to him and ask for the keys we needed. The whole experience went smooth.

Update on 2026/2/22: Thank you to Samantha for helping me book my car in for repairs on 2026/2/23. She was so kind and helpful throughout the process, and her quick responses made everything much easier. I’m very grateful for her help.

2026/1/30: I purchased my vehicle in late Oct 25. During the test drive prior to purchase, a “Start/Stop Error” message appeared on the dashboard. I was advised by the sales representative that this issue would resolve itself after a long-distance drive. However, despite completing several long trips, the error remained.

Within 14 days of purchase, I contacted customer service and booked my vehicle into the Oldbury branch for repair. My car was kept for repair from mid-November to mid-December, yet the original Start/Stop error was not resolved. In addition, a new airbag error appeared during this period.

The vehicle was returned to me a few days later with only the airbag error cleared, while the Start/Stop error remained. As I was about to go on holiday for a month and the car would be parked at the airport, I was assured by the Oldbury customer service team that they would re-arrange the repair upon my return.

After returning from my holiday in mid-January, I made multiple attempts to contact the Oldbury branch to re-arrange the repair. Unfortunately, despite repeated calls, I have not received any response or callback, and the fault remains unresolved. This lack of communication and follow-up has been extremely disappointing and frustrating.

We purchased a mini countryman all4 hybrid.. we had it less than a week when we had to take it back as there was a problem with the drive train. They checked the car telling us it was sorted . I only managed to get home when it came on again . Phoned up was booked in the following day . 2 hours and confirmation that there was a fault . We were offered a refund - £500 or an exchange se we exchange the car for another mini from a different brance they even got it moved to were we were at no extra cost to us. So service very good to be fair.

From start to finish, Chris was professional and friendly via all calls and Samantha during pick up. He took the time to understand what I required, answered all my questions clearly, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. There was no pressure, just honest advice and great customer care. I’m absolutely delighted with my new car and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Motorpoint.

Was looking for an X3 - Khal was very helpful in showing me one of the best on the market at the time. Friendly and relaxed - not too pushy. Picked the car up the next day - overall 5 stars for Khal and the team at Motorpoint Oldbury.

No pressure, nobody pushing to sell you everything, no quibble over the part ex price. The only delay was having to tax and insure the vehicle on site, as from previous dealings with other dealers. Where most of what they said they went back on, not the case with motorpoint.

Khal was very helpful and 100% professional.

Oldbury - THEY WILL MAKE UP ISSUES WHEN YOU SELL.

My experience started well with polite receptionist.

Then I was served by a very young man whom kept calling me 'bud.' I am over 3 decades older & found this disrespectful.

I had to wait an hour for my car to be checked which is too long ,only to be told they would knock £100 off the offer because my window cluncked! There is no issues with my windows, they are quite loud just like the locking because it's a characteristic of a Jeep.

I politely refused & made quick exit so as to not waste any more of my day.
