When Move with Us first contacted me they wanted various documentation, most of which I didn't understand.
I requested a call to go through everything and Beth Puxley called promptly.
Beth went through everything with me, explaining the required documentation in a way even I could understand.
Beth has been very helpful and her friendly demeanour has been a big help. She has made me feel that she genuinely cares about my situation. Thank you Beth!

Unfortunately, I did not read the reviews for this company prior to working with them. I have had a very similar experience to others, whereby I submitted an offer however although this offer was accepted by the seller it was able to be outbid days later.

I was told when I made an offer to my estate agents I would have to deal with Move With Us as they were representing the seller of the flat I was looking to buy. Two days later I received a call from Amy to say that my offer had been accepted and I would receive an email that afternoon listing the documents I needed to provide for the memorandum of sale to be released and the property be taken off the market. I did not receive an email so called the following day to chase this up. Amy resent the email while on the phone to me which clearly stated that my offer had been accepted and once I provided the documents the flat would be taken off the market. I provided the documents to Amy within an hour of the email being sent on Friday.

Following the weekend, I received a call from Sophie at Move With Us stating that they needed another document from myself (had not been included on the emailed list) and unfortunately another offer had gone in over the weekend. I said that they should have taken it off the market on Friday as I had provided all the required documents, to this Sophie replied that the seller had not provided their solicitor details so therefore they could not have released the memorandum of sale on Friday. I asked why the memorandum of sale was reliant on the seller providing details to Move With Us, I did not receive a response from Sophie.

The following day I received another call from Sophie stating that she was going to put the offer to the seller & she kindly offered me an opportunity to increase my original offer!!!! I refused and asked why I would want to increase an offer that had already been accepted.

The next call I received from Sophie was to say the other offer had been accepted over mine. When pushed, Sophie told me the offer had come in Monday, three days after the flat should have been taken off the market by Move With Us and over a week after I submitted my original offer.

This company work incredibly slowly in order to ensure other offers can come in and they can gain the most commission from a property. Any competent estate agent would have taken the property off the market once the documents were provided and in not doing so this company is creating artificial bidding wars.

Do not believe their Trustpilot overall rating, check their Google rating where most 1 star reviews seem to be allowed to be posted.

Move with us made the selling of a house really straight forward. The team are all very helpful, and very quick to answer questions and explain things clearly, recently especially Ryan Pascoe who has been quick to keep me updated, and explain the process clearly. I would recommend move with us for help selling a property.

Carrie-Anne was extremely helpful, knowledgable, cheerful, pragmatic and quick to act at each stage if the process. It was also easy to contact her by phone for person to person discussion which was invaluable and increasingly difficult to achieve these days.

Millie Durham was easy to communicate with, friendly, helpful. knowledgable of what we needed to complete and chased up documents in a timely manner.

I found that progress was satisfactory throughout but would like to make a special mention to Becky Dean and Carolyn Crooks as they were proactive, kept me frequently updated and happily guided me through the process when necessary
I valued their kindness and the help they gave to me was very much appreciated .

I am afraid the bad reviews are true. I put an offer into a house on the Monday evening and I did not get this accepted until the Thursday afternoon which seemed painful enough but of course I was over the moon to get my offer excepted. This is a new chapter and all very daunting but exciting anyway I then found out the reason why it took so long is because it was being done by a 3rd party, move with us on behalf of the sellers as they are doing a part exchange.
I read the reviews and became very nervous.
I was told by the estate agent I would have a call Friday morning from them to do the ID checked etc but this call did not come through until 17.25 Friday evening in which the bank holiday was about to start. (I had already called and emailed several times in the day but heard nothing back) Millie said all paperwork would be sent, which it was that evening. I asked if the house could be taken off right move as I had read reviews of a offer being accepted but then declined etc but she informed me this could not be done until they had done the checks etc .. great as I said this was Friday evening before they would be off before Tuesday.
I sent the stuff over and waited until Tuesday afternoon to then be told by Beth 1 that 1. They didn’t know I was in a chain so this makes things different and they need to go back to the seller and 2. Someone else had put an offer in … of course!
She said she would put both offer's forward. I then waited 24 hours to then by told my offer had been declined and that was that basically. Even though 7 days before I had an email saying congratulations my offer had been accepted but clearly not.
This company go up with 2 x agents on purpose and it seems like a bidding game. I understand better offers come in but if only I had been sent the paperwork the Friday morning maybe this could have been avoided, there’s just no urgency or interest!
Just to add salt to the wound 3 days later the house is still on Rightmove with 2 x agents so good luck to them and whoever is buying in Somerset!
Please read the bad and long reviews as I would never choose to work with this company really really disappointed!

10/10 company. I'd really like to thank everyone I dealt with at move with us, for their helpfulness and ease of contact. In particular Dan Usherwood was fantastic, kept us up to date every step of the way (especially appreciated when things were getting stressful close to the end of the purchase & with tight deadlines) and was always happy to take or return a call. Don't know how we'd have got through the process without him guiding us through, and dont think we'd have moved in on the scheduled date without his efforts. Top service!

From putting the offer forward Carrie-Anne Johnson dealt with it promptly and professionally.

Overall, our experience with Move With Us was okay, mainly due to some communication issues throughout the process at the start. We were contacted by several different people at different stages, which sometimes led to confusion and miscommunication between parties and the estate agents. At times, this made the process feel more stressful than it needed to be.

However, once our case was moved over to Daniel Usherwood, things improved significantly. Daniel was professional, approachable and proactive throughout. Communication became much clearer, we felt more informed, and he helped make the process run far more smoothly. He was always helpful when we had questions and his calm, supportive approach made a real difference. We really appreciated his efforts and professionalism.
