Fools and their money...(yes, that's me)
They wouldn't take a temporary Visa number (red flag!), so I clicked PayPal (option now unavailable), and they charged it without listing the currency as USD or that they added shipping insurance. Then I was forced through a series of pop-ups for add-on products, with some boxes checked. Apparently, I forgot to uncheck shipping insurance and drain cleaner, and they were added to my order. I got frustrated and closed the tab, thinking that it would cancel the order, but no, the order went through on the first page, and if there was a confirmation page after the long series of pop-ups, I didn't see it. I called customer service and got an answering machine, so I emailed them, and they said they couldn't find my order. I emailed them again, and they said they can't cancel orders and that I'd have to wait to receive the items, pay to ship them back, and that they'd consider a refund if I sent them a picture of the items and packaging. The drain strainers weren't shipped for 20 days, so there's no reason the order couldn't have been cancelled and my money refunded. I sent documentation and asked PayPal for a refund, but they were okay with a vendor that charges you instantly and won't cancel orders. Other red flags included AI-generated photos and videos of the drain strainers, and a counter at the top of the page that says "106 items left in stock" and then counts down while you're on the page, only to return to 106 if you close it and come back.
