We contacted Murray Travel about helping to book a long haul trip. We had an idea of where we wanted to go too but unsure of how to plan it. Tracy was amazing we gave her our budget, which places we would like to visit and she helped us with the choices of destinations, accommodation and trips. We flew to Kuala Lumpur first and then on to Phuket in Thailand. The trip was amazing, everything that Tracy organised couldnt have been better from flights to transfers. It wasnt just the trip that was 5star it was the service that Tracy and Murray travel provided - right down to what to do with Sim cards, luggage labels. The pack we received for travelling had all the documents we needed, contact numbers etc and the added bonus was water bottles and mobile phone gadgets for on the plane (all well used!) really thought out useful things. At every step we felt so confident with Murray travel and i would honestly highly recommend booking with them - the peace of mind and security travelling just made the trip more enjoyable. We would highly recommend booking with the Tracy and are already planning our next holiday. Thanks Tracy and Murray travel for everything.

Having had my flight from Dubai cancelled at the outset of hostilities in the Middle East I contacted Murray Travel. The help I received could not have been better. The time and energy the staff expended was over and above I had a right to expect.I was booked onto the first Emirates flight into Scotland with special assistance. I could not thank Gemma and Jacqui enough for their assistance.

Jacqui was extremely knowledgeable about our destination, gave lots of pointers and tips. Went out of her way to help with our bookings and ESTA'S.
Overall a very good experience and would recommend.

Travelled to Gran Canaria with Murray Travel on March 3rd from Inverness,it was great to be able to travel from our local airport rather than having to do a 4 hour journey to Glasgow or Edinburgh.
Jacqui and the girls in the Elgin office arranged everything for us and everything was seamless.
We were greeted at check in by very friendly Murray Travel staff, the flight was great, very comfy aircraft with wi fi on board 😀
On arrival at Gran Canaria, we were through and on the transfer coach within half an hour. Our hotel was amazing and we were looked after very well.
Journey home was equally stress free and we were home within 45 minutes of landing.
Well done Murray Travel 👏 we'll certainly be travelling with them in the future 👍

I travel on my own and I find Aimee so helpful and easy to speak to . Nothing too much trouble and she organises everything I need for my holiday which is a big help to me . I will be in touch with Aimee again for my next holiday

I would never normally write a negative review and have never felt the need to do so before. However, we are currently on what can only be described as a very stressful and disappointing holiday booked through Murray Travel (Inverness to Gran Canaria).

Unfortunately, when we arrived at the hotel it was nothing like the pictures or descriptions we were shown at the time of booking. There were a number of issues with the accommodation and the overall condition of the hotel was poor considering the price that was paid.

In addition to this, the accommodation did not meet the mobility needs we had clearly explained at the time of booking for my grandmother. This made the hotel unsuitable for our circumstances and added further stress to what should have been a relaxing holiday.

We reported these problems to Murray Travel immediately, however the response we received was incredibly disappointing. We were told that a representative would visit us the night we contacted them, but this never happened. Instead, we were left waiting for over 24 hours with very little communication or updates despite repeatedly contacting the agency ourselves.

Eventually we were told that we could move hotels, but only at additional cost. Given that the accommodation we were sold was clearly not as described and unsuitable for our needs, this felt extremely unfair.

In the end we had no choice but to move hotels at additional cost just to try and salvage what was left of our holiday. Unfortunately, we also experienced problems checking in to the new hotel, and it has not been much better despite the additional cost.

The lack of communication and support from Murray Travel during this situation has been extremely disappointing. One of the main reasons people book through a travel agent is for support when things go wrong, and sadly we did not feel supported at all.

Overall we are very disappointed with both the accommodation we were sold and the level of customer service we received.

Once again, Tony came up trumps with hotel suggestion based on his own experience from years before. The team in Nairn don’t just arrange a holiday, they take real interest and care and when things don’t go quite to plan, they do all they can to help.

I haven’t booked through a travel agent for years but heard great things about Murray Travel. It’s a luxury experience from beginning to end, I am super fussy of where I go and Susan couldn’t have been more helpful. She listened to what I was looking for and gave me different options. She had been to my destination many times so I felt in great hands and wow did it pay off!! Our honeymoon in the Dominican Republic was 10/10, I’m hoping to go back with friends!!

We have been dealing with Murray Travel for several years now. Most of our requests and inquiries have been dealt with by the branch manager Jacqui Peat. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for her especially as we often make specific requests to enable our holidays to be much more comfortable.

This was our 1st time using Murray Travel for a winter break to the Canary islands, must say absolute 1st class customer service and care, we will certainly be using them again, Laura MacPherson from the Nairn branch was brilliant, from start to finish her care was amazing, receiving a check up email while on holiday and one when we returned home was a touch of class, thank you we will be in touch for our next family holiday.5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Organised all flights, hotels, transfers and special assistance for an epic 6 week holiday to Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. Everything went smoothly and they couldn't have done more for me and my daughter.

We used Murray travel for our recent trip to Kuala Lumpur and Thailand. Tracy was very helpful in providing various options with clear information and pricing.

Communications were great from start to finish and we felt reassured that everything was in place and that our holiday would run smoothly.

In April 2025 we went into Murray Travel and spoken to Tony Dimery Seek with a view to booking a holiday for Xmas. After lots of chat and Tony listening to our likes and dislikes we ended up booking our dream holiday to Mauritius for Jan 2026.
Tony arranged all of our travel requirements from leaving Nairn to our return journey. I cannot praise the service we received from Tony,every small detail was taken care of .
Murray Travel cater for the individual and provide choices.
Tony you are an absolute star and that is why we have booked our next 3 holidays with you and hopefully you will be booking our return back to Mauritius in a couple of years.

Appreciate the luggage tags as a case went missing on our way home and this gave us an extra piece of mind.

From the get go I was fully supported with putting together what was a very ambitious trip. I told them where I wanted to go and what I wanted to do and from that they were able to make up an outstanding itinerary.

Everything went so smoothly, from the flights, airport transfers and excursions. Murray Travel were on hand at anytime to help if needed and provided a comforting saftey net if things were to go wrong which thankfully it didn't.

All in all an incredible experience from beginning to end. I would 100% recommend using this company. I am already looking forward to planning my next trip with them.

We have booked a number of holidays with Moray Travel and have always received great customer service and value for money. MT is like a concierge service with the added bonus of a family feel to all they do. Their travel shops -of which there are four in our local area - are nicely appointed and the offer of a hot drink or even a glass of something stronger is always there.
Do to illness we had to cancel our latest holiday at very short notice. We reported this to Jen, who has always arranged our holidays. Rather than just referring us to the insurance company she started the claim for us, collected the supporting evidence I needed for the claim just leaving me to complete a medical certificate.
Finally, she kept in touch offering advice as the claim process progressed until it was paid in full a few weeks later.
To my mind that is the mark not just of the individual, but of the whole team at MT. We are looking forward to booking our next holiday with them soon.
