I have always taken care of my own travel arrangements for the many years that I have needed to travel until a friend suggested that I use Murray Travel and specifically Dot Mechan. Best piece of travel advice ever. Dot has helped book my flights which sometimes include a few stops (by choice) along the way and she’s managed to find me the most cost effective way of doing so. The best bit is she handles check in and provides me with my boarding passes in time for me to fly. I feel secure knowing that I have help if there is ever a problem. The entire team at Nairn is supportive and I have happily recommended their services to friends and family.

My Husband and I booked a Tour to India. We were given different options for us to consider ie: tour operators and tours. After we decided which tour we would like to do. We went to see Carla at the Inverness office. She was very helpful in explaining everything ( visa applications, money ) and the booking process was straightforward. We were updated at regular intervals about any changes. The holiday was a total success 😁 the hotels were fantastic, the tour guide excellent and the rest of the group were just delightful. We had the best time ever. On the way home we had encountered several delays on our fights and so missed our Heathrow to Glasgow connection. Once again Carla came to our rescue and rearranged our flights whilst we were flying home from India to the uk. Arriving in Heathrow we had an email with all the new flight details. We can’t thank Carla enough for all her work she has done for us and can only recommend her and Murray Travel for your next holiday.

My husband and I were looking to go on holiday to Japan and Bali. After spending time trying to research it all myself I gave up and got in touch with some local travel agents. Tracy from Murray Travel got in touch and took all the stress away!
She took a list of all our requirements then came back to us with a rough itinerary for flights and accommodation, we went back and fore to fine tune the details then our tailormade holiday was set!!
This was by far the best holiday I have been on!
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tracy for planning a holiday again, nothing was too much trouble!

Aimee at Murray Travel was brilliant when I asked her to suggest a suitable holiday for me and my husband. We gave her our likes/dislikes along with a budget and we were spoilt for choice.
We opted for Cyprus, a place we'd never been before and we loved it so much that we've asked Aimee to book again for next year.
We love the security of knowing that everything is in safe hands and that we can contact someone at home should we have any concerns.
Emails are replied to promptly and nothing is a bother.

Carla at Murray Travel Inverness arranged our holiday to Canada’s west coast, it included a few bucket list trips plus things we would never have thought of.
Was a bit apprehensive about flights, luggage and transfers to various destinations and excursions but everything went without a hitch

Susan at Murray Travel was an excellent point of contact for our trip. We had a thoroughly pleasant experience from the planning all the way until our trip was over.

Kacie at Murray Travel's branch in Elgin was so helpful and efficient from the moment I took along some ideas for a stay in Istanbul followed by a 10 day cruise from there finishing at Barcelona. She coordinated the flights, transfers by taxi, the hotel in Istanbul and the the choices of cabins, excursions etc on The Norwegian Pearl. All went perfectly and I thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of my special holiday.

Tracy from Murray Travel ensured that we had the best experience as she listened to what we required and made it a fantastic city break in Vienna. Great hotel very central, great breakfast and just made it a memorable time

We had an amazing experience booking our 2 week trip to Orlando with Susan Freeman at Murray Travel. She knows the destination very well, and managed to pull together the perfect package to suit our family. We had never been to Orlando and choice is overwhelming when you start to research it. Susan's help was invaluable, and we had a truly fantastic, once in a lifetime, family holiday all thanks to Susan.

I have had a brilliant experience with Murray travel in Nairn. I cannot praise them enough.
They were efficient, friendly, caring and listened to all our requests and concerns.
It was the first time they had booked a holiday to South Korea. They were keen to find out the appropriate information and were keen to hear our experience and information on our return.
Booking with Murray travel took all the stress away from booking flights, transfers and hotel as we were not so tech savvy. Tony was especially exceptionally helpful. The rest of the team were very good too.
I would not hesitate to book with them again and have recommended them to others.

Murray Travel made the experience of booking our holiday stress free. Lisa was great at communicating everything, even the small things. When there was an update from our hotel months in advance about something minor, we were contacted to check we were made aware of this and asked if we wanted to make changes to our holiday. Our travel documents were printed and posted to us in plenty of time ahead of our holiday, which also took away the stress of printing our boarding passes etc. The added security of the luggage tags we were given meant that we knew if our luggage went missing Murray Travel had things in place to help with this - thankfully this was not needed! We were sent an email in addition to messages from the airline company to ensure we knew what time our bus transfer would be arriving on our day of departure. The welcome home card after we had returned from our holiday was a nice touch and demonstrated the high levels of customer service with this company. We would not hesitate to use Murray Travel again.

The accommodation - Santa Maria 24 - was spectacular. With first class amenities, incredibly comfortable and spacious and with lovely touches such as a box of goodies on the shower room [slippers, shower cap, nail kit and shaving kit] and gorgeous soaps and lotions. There was also a basket of wine and local snacks, though these are charged and replenished as used. There is a coffee maker, kettle and coffee pods and teabags provided, plus 2 bottles of water in the fridge, all gratis. The staff at Santa Maria 24 were incredibly helpful and friendly. Breakfast each day was included in our price and was the best start to the day ahead: beautifully fresh with a vast choice of dishes to choose from.
We loved Monopoli and its vibes! So relaxing and so beautiful. We were in the old part of the city and it is so picturesque with lots of winding lanes to explore, the harbour and old port and the fabulous restaurants and cafes. We also explored wider Puglia and used public transport for this. All worthwhile doing.
We took a train from Bari Airport to Bari Central Station and then a train to Monopoli, where staff from Santa Maria 24 met us.
On the return leg, we had to book a taxi to the airport and there was a mix-up with times. All quickly sorted by Santa Maria 24 and Jacqui at Murray Travel.
This was another great experience with Murray Travel. Every detail considered and arranged and meant a stress-free holiday. Huge thanks to Jacqui in the Elgin branch of Murray Travel for everything she did for us.

Our trip involved visiting family in Tasmania involving 8 different flights with a night in Melbourne on the way to Hobart and another night in Melbourne on the return journey. The itinerary and choices of airline and hotel that Tracy put together for us was the best and the information and help beforehand with visas etc was excellent. We gave her the framework and left the detail in her hands.
It made life so easy and the trip so enjoyable.

Carla and her colleagues organised a fantastic trip for us to Portugal and the Azores. Which included surviving the worst that Hurrican Gabrielle could throw at the islands...but our wee traditional-style Azorean stone cottage never even blinked. The islands are stunning but what made it special was the people, the Portuguese must be some of the nicest on Earth, everywhere we went, from drivers to tour guides to hotel staff, all exceptionally helpful and friendly. Learn a few words of Portuguese before you go btw, it pays off!

An excellent itinerary prepared by Murray Travel and Canadian Affair - oh, and the brilliant weather!

Murray travel took all the stress out of arranging our last two holidays abroad.
They listened to our needs and came
up with packages that fitted. The staff were positive and friendly and nothing was any trouble. A great local company providing a quality service

We have just returned from a 7 day trip to Nashville which we booked through Murray Travel. It was our first time booking through a travel agent and I could not believe what a stress free experience it was.

When I first phoned Murray Travel, I spoke to Susan (Freeman) who listened to exactly what I was looking for. She came back to me very quickly with suggestions of hotels, flights etc. which we booked not long after. After booking, she was extremely efficient in emailing all our flights and hotel booking paperwork to me, plus giving me extra information regarding transfers etc. Also as promised, all our flight paperwork was received a couple of weeks before we left.

Our trip to Nashville was fabulous and everything we hoped for - gorgeous hotel with great flights. I will definitely use Murray Travel again for our holiday bookings and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them to friends and family. Thanks again Susan 😊

The staff have a lot of travel experience and are able to find you your ideal holiday. In this instance Susan Freeman got us fixed up with a week in Prague. They have also organised a Rhine cruise, Belfast city break, and a big trip to India next year. The staff make your travel organisation effortless and stress free.

This is my 3rd booking with Alistair from the Forres branch and his customer service is second to none. We are just back from our last Europe Holiday, travelling to 4 different cities and everything went without a hitch. All the hotels were amazing and our train travel between countries was seamless and all organised for us, all we had to do was turn up. Alistair is very chatty and friendly, he listened to all our requirements and nothing was too much trouble. We have just booked through him to go away next year. I would thoroughly recommend Murray Travel for ease and peace of mind. I won't go anywhere else now.
