Having become used to booking holidays+hours of trawling online for about 20yrs it felt a real luxury to have booked this time with Murray Travel,Nairn.The office is tastefully decorated and a very comfortable and relaxed space.Tony and the other team members were all just so pleasant,cheerful and accommodating.Everything possible was done to make our holiday plans go smoothly.

Trust is a huge thing for us as customers. Having done our research, we were so happy to have booked through Murray Travel.

This was a once in a lifetime tailormade Safari and Beach Holiday to Tanzania in July 2025. Carla Murdoch listened to our wants and needs, produced an all-encompassing itinerary, coming in under budget for what is the most memorable of experiences.

We travelled as a family of 4 with our 15- and 12-year-old-daughters. The accommodation changed every couple of days as we ventured further along the safari route. All accommodation was excellent, the real highlight being the safari lodges we had for 2 nights in the Serengeti, very special indeed. A 3-night trip to Zanzibar at the end of the holiday capped it all off.

Flights, transfers, meals and a concierge service all included – stress free travel.

We booked a very complex itinerary over 3 weeks involving 3 countries and 10 flights. The holiday went like clockwork with everything happening as we expected.

The crew at Murray Travel are a great bunch. Friendly and attentive and making sure they get to know exactly what the customer is looking for. They handle everything start to finish which is so useful for customers like me who struggle with all the organising and admin stuff. I trust them to get everything right and can't imagine ever booking a holiday any other way now. They are intuitive and make booking a holiday so much easier

Our trip was a totally bespoke 5 week tour of Australia and Murray Travel put the itinerary together and absolutely nailed every element of the trip.

We booked a cruise independently online, but all the rest of the package and the extras still had to be arranged - flights, hotels, etc. Sarah and Tony at Murray Travel took on the responsibility for putting together some great deals, hotels, travel details, additional excursions, finishing touches and suggestions we wouldn't have thought of ourselves, and so on - we had a brilliant trip, even without taking the superb cruise into account, and they couldn't have been more helpful if they'd tried! We'd have no hesitation about using them again in the future, and we've already been telling our friends to go there too for the best advice and support!

We are just back from our second trip organized by Carla at Murray Travel and we will definitely be using her again.

Carla organized our Florida/NYC trip in 2020 which was unfortunately cancelled due to the pandemic and we had no hesitations when we rebooked to go with her again. Carla was incredibly patient with us as we made our hotel/flight decisions and have us some great recommendations.

We have just returned from Agadir in Morocco, again organized by Carla. We went on her recommendation of hotel and we were absolutely delighted and highly recommend Morocco.

First time using Murray Travel and I’ll definitely be back. Susan helped me arrange a surprise birthday city break. We had a beautiful hotel in the perfect location in Madrid. She offered a range of options with different budgets helping me make the right choice that suited us. It was so handy getting the tickets printed out and packaged up, actually much more convenient than using my mobile! Communication was great, we mostly kept in touch by email but it was good to be able to just pop in and speak to Susan when I had a question. Thank you we had an amazing trip and I would highly recommend Madrid.

We’ve had another amazing holiday organised by Carla at Murray Travel. Carla has worked with us a few times now, understands what we want in accommodation etc and for our trip to Iceland this summer, did not disappoint.

We were a multigenerational group with ages from 9-69 so needed a holiday to suit us all whilst seeing as much of Iceland as possible in one week and seeing puffins was a must.

We toured around much of the south of Iceland staying in various accommodation with our own personal driver/guide who was excellent. The tour was flexible and as a fairly active family our guide adjusted to itinerary to suit and enable us to add in a few extra sights.

Everything went to plan, the holiday was seamless and well organised, the accommodations all great and we had a wonderful time.

Carla fulfilled our brief easily, being friendly and professional throughout. I always feel in safe hands when dealing with Murray Travel and highly recommend them to anyone who asks.

Just back from a wonderful minibreak in Majorca with 5 school friends to celebrate our big birthday year! Aimee listened carefully to our priorities for the trip, managed too coordinate flights from 3 different countries and booked a hotel in the perfect spot. She answered our (many!) questions quickly and made the whole trip stress free. Would highly recommend! Thanks again.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! We had the best experience with Murray Travel for the Silverstone Grand Prix. They had everything we could want and need - bacon rolls in the morning before the bus, snacks and drinks on the bus, and were the most lovely helpful team! We had a great weekend and they were there for our every need - just a call away. I would highly recommend Murray Travel to anyone!

Excellent customer service and explained everything. Her advise saved us time and money would definitely use the company again.

What a professional travel agency. Booked the fan coach to Silverstone and from start to finish it was well organised and the marathon of a drive made so much better with a brilliant coach company and safe, professional driver.
Although the original hotel that Murray Travel had arranged let them down they booked a four star hotel in Stratford which was lovely.
All in all a brilliant experience that I couldn’t recommend more highly !

This was the first time we have used Murray Travel and I have to say they are excellent we were able to get the holiday we wanted at a great price and that did everything the could to make it go as smooth as possible. Will definitely be using them again

Carla at Murray Travel is our “go to” person for booking our holidays. We are repeat customers and have travelled with Murray travel for single destination holidays but mostly for multiple, bespoke destination holidays. We find the service we receive at Murray travel is second to none. We feel confident in the holidays Carla puts together will be just what we are looking for. Our recent holiday to Canada and USA (Toronto, Montreal, Quebec, Vancouver, Victoria and Seattle) included fabulous boutique hotels all centrally located, transfers and transport which got us where we needed to be and in comfort. Best bit is that we know if we ever need anything, Murray travel are there to help. Wonderfully reassuring.

Aimee and her team at Murray Travel organised the perfect solo-travel holiday for me to Torrox in southern Spain. Everything was perfect, and all the travel arrangements ran like clockwork. Fabulous location, hotel and weather! I will definitely book again with Murray Travel in the future. They offer a fantastic service and peace of mind when travelling alone.
