BackHug is amazing!
I use it frequently and it has transformed my back movement and lowered my pain
I feel much looser and rarely take pain killers

I can bend over to put my socks and shoes on For someone who has had MS for over 20 years, that is amazing 🤣

Declan from BackHug arranged for me to try their machine at home. After a quick chat on the phone the machine was delivered by Ken who talked me through the app set up as well as how to use the machine.

I have suffered with back pain for the last 2 years after an injury and have a Herniated disc, Si joint issues as well as neck issues. My GP sent me to an NHS physio who done absolutely nothing for me so I couldnt wait to try the BackHug.

Ive had the machine for a few weeks and use it every morning, every evening and whenever my back feels tight. This machine has made a huge difference to my back. In the evening i use the 40 minute session and have fell asleep on it a few times. Thats the effect this has on your body. It relaxes your muscles and in turn helps relax my mind.

So if you have back or neck issues then try this machine.

Really enjoyed using BackHug. After using it consistently I felt huge benefits in my back and definitely helped improve mobility and reduce stiffness. The app was easy to use, too!

BackHug is NOT your average automatic massage chair/bed.
The feeling is completely different, and hits the spot that other devices miss. It rocks gently but firmly your spine while having you comfortably laid down on it.
The device itself fells solid and really well constructed, of quality materials.
The best thing about it is the control you can have on your massage by just using this amazing app on your phone and bluetooth connection: you can change a lot of settings to adjust the massaging "fingers" to your body, selecting different types of treatment, from a firm one "therapeutic" to a more relaxed "pampering" style.
Overall BackHug is a great device to use regularly, especially for a person like me who has a desk job with a really bad posture habit ;)

This is an effective and very easy to use machine, which resulted is muscle pain relief and left me very relaxed. It is particularly useful being able to change a number of different settings live during the session, which meant I could target different areas of my back at different times depending on which muscles needed working on and what was comfortable for me. Will definitely be using frequently!

I totally loved BackHug ,would give it 10 stars! Feeling excited as this may be the thing that I can use to ease the tension and pain I experience in my neck and shoulders and it will be both time and cost effective for me. It is so easy to use and convenient. You book on an app, turn up, no hassle of removing shoes etc.. just sit on the machine and follow the easy instructions to personalise the session.
It is the first machine I have used that offers a head rest and adjusts your legs so I felt sure I was positioned correctly. Also it is the first time I have had the massage connect completely with my neck and shoulder area and it relieved the tension in this area... I felt great and totally energised after the experience. During the session I felt relaxed and will probably do a short meditation next time. It fits well in my day as it suits me for the length of time, 15 mins, and will allow me to do my meditation. Great concept to improve people's health and well being! Highly recommend incorporating this into your life, as I said excited to have discovered BackHug and definitely going to book again and again! Thanks to the BackHug team for this amazing machine and fantastic customer service.

I absolutely love backhug and use it pretty much once a week. Perfect little get away from the busy day and just take a moment to relax, unwind and get new energy to tackle the day.

This machine is excellent . I have tried both programs now (therapeutic and pampering ) and it’s fair to say they both relieved my back pain . The therapeutic program helped release the tension I held in my neck and reduced the pain I had in my lower back from Loosing up my muscles after experiencing a muscle spasm earlier in the week .
The pampering session was so relaxing . you could feel the machine working on my knots and releasing the tensions . I can not recommend this machine enough.

It's amazing. You can really feel how it works on your back. It also works with an app, which is very friendly and easy to handle. You can choose the points to work on your back, the pressure level or if you want it to be a relaxation or therapeutic massage. The day I used BACKHUG I slept like a baby and my back woke up happy. Absolutely recommended, it is important to take time for your well-being and if your back is happy your day will be great. if you are reading this now and you know what it is to suffer back pain you really need to try BACKHUG... I LOVE IT!

I just had my first session with BackHug today and I must say that my back thanks me for this idea. The points of touch look strategically placed, which gave me confidence in the machine at the beginning. Plus, knowing that there is was a physio-therapeutic expert on the team also helped. One cool feature I liked is that one can control the strength, great for awareness of own’s back. I feel like I will make it a regular thing because it is a healthy exercise for my back. I was prompted by a reading on how young people with back problems are likely to experience disability once they grow old. So, this is a more preventive way for me.

Absolutely superb. So convenient too. I frequently get pain in my lower back after playing football, mainly the right hand side, and have done for the last 30 or so years. I spent 30 minutes (2 consecutive sessions) on the BackHug and the pain and tightness in that area was completely gone. At £3 for 15 minutes that’s a very cost effective solution. The BackHug is controlled by the APP on your mobile phone so you can set and change the intensity/pressure of the 3 areas of the back independently - neck, upper back and lower back, and to your own personal preference. I do go for fortnightly 90 minute massage but this is a great way for me to ease off back and neck strains in the intervening period, and at low cost. The treatment is carried out completely clothed making it so convenient and quick too.

Went for a Backhug yesterday unfortunately I was disappointed. I thought the robotic massage would be more movement /ripple on your back rather than someone just pushing a fist into the areas on your back. In saying that I would go back but only if it was near where I lived. It wasn’t an unpleasant experience. Get more of them in Edinburgh please

The BackHug machine was setup in my local gym so was very convenient and satisfying to use after a heavy workout.

From downloading the app, booking a session and controlling the BackHug machine was very easy.

I love the simplicity of booking sessions and altering the strength of the robotic fingers using my smartphone.

I actually look forward to using the BackHug twice a week. I genuinely feel the benefits on my back as I go about my everyday activities.

Tried out the Backhug robotic therapy recently and really enjoyed it. Lots of different settings you can play around with to make it a really personalised experience. Definitely a great way to spend 15 minutes during the working day!

I have had two sessions on the BackHug-it is a great concept. Very effective and my back feels great after. The only issue for me is the location of the cubicle-it is situated in a very busy area in the building so I struggle to relax. I can hear people coming and going, televisions, a ping pong table, an automatic door and microwaves. There is also two very bright lights above the cubicle which do not create a relaxing atmosphere. I will be using BackHug again however feel that by moving it to a quieter, more relaxing area there would be a much more interest.

A lot better than I expected. It did a fantastic job to release my back tightness by pressing firmly along the spine. As the time went, I increased the pressure strength from 4 to 6, and it felt firmer and really good. At the end of 15 minute, my headache was gone. Very easy to use, private space in a booth. So reasonable price too!
Plan to try 30 minutes next time.

Excellent, very professionally massaged, excellent value for money

My friend told me for about a massage he had got from Mybackhug and how he had benefited from it. Although I liked the idea of getting a massage I am one of those people whose busy life just don't seem to include a massage session or going to a doctor. A few weeks ago I injured my neck during a gym session and thought the best way to deal with the pain was to take a break from the gym and let it heal by itself. Then I remember my friend's experience with Mybackhhug. As the pain lasted longer than I thought I decided to give it a try.
It is not always easy to describe extraordinary things when something good has happened to you. Not only the experience was fantastic but also, and I did not realize it straight away, my pain was gone. Just like that! and also I felt rejuvenated. I used to think that massages was something for others, doing this taught me that it does not have to be this way. My positive experience with Mybackhug showed me how easy and important it is to give yourself care and healing as part of a day to day life.

Wonderful experience. Very relaxing. Felt much better after using. As someone whom sits all day in my work and also works out at the gym, my body felt so much better for using this machine.
