I was charged $180 for changing the engine air filter and cabin filter on a Mazda CX-5, while the retail price for both filters of the same brand is about $80 in total. I am confident that replacing these filters takes no more than five minutes.

How is the installation fee calculated in this case?

I visited your store for a puncture repair and was advised that the tyre needed to be replaced. I was sold a single tyre at a cost of $269.

Before proceeding, I asked whether replacing just one tyre was acceptable. I was told that replacing two tyres is recommended, but that you only had one tyre of this type available. No alternative tyre options or solutions were offered.

Afterwards, I consulted my regular mechanic, who confirmed that both tyres should have been replaced. I also checked with multiple other suppliers and found that this tyre type is currently out of stock across the market.

Given this, it appears the single tyre may have been sold simply to clear existing stock rather than to provide appropriate advice aligned with best practice. Had I been properly informed or offered alternatives, I would not have proceeded with a single tyre replacement.

I would appreciate your response on how you intend to address this.
