Great service from the counter and on the phone

Peter (at fairfield) is my go to mechanic... and it has been so for many years!

We purchased 4 tyres a while ago and recently one of them suffered a screw puncture and some sidewall damage.
The guys at Mycar Fairfield were extremely helpful and understanding and replaced it under warranty. Excellent customer service.

So willing to help even though I was really late for the service but they were willing to help
And is the best service I was really happy and grateful with the way being dealt with me.

My Car rang me to tell me that my car needed a wheel alignment and two new tyres on the front as they were scrubbed out on the inside.
However the car had four new tyres and a wheel alignment 10,000 km ago.
I took the car back to the company who supplied the tyres and did the wheel alignment and they put the car up on the hoist to show me the tyres were perfect and showed no signs of poor wheel alignment.
The manager of the tyre company informed me that mine was not the first car they had customers come in with similar complaints and there was nothing wrong with the tyres.
I will not be using MyCar again.

I am writing to share my recent experiences with your service centers, as I believe there is room for improvement in consistency and thoroughness of inspections.

Six months ago, I serviced my car at your Townsville (near Kmart) location. At that time, I was given a list of items that needed to be repaired or replaced at my next service. However, during my recent service at myCar Fairfield, none of those issues were flagged except for the drive shaft.

I also raised concerns about unusual noises coming from the rear suspension. To my surprise, I was told the noise was caused by the drive shaft, despite my car being front-wheel drive. It appears the rear suspension wasn’t inspected at all. This left me feeling dissatisfied and questioning the quality of the inspection.

The inconsistency between the two branches has caused me to seek another service provider for a second opinion. It is concerning to think either:
1. The Townsville branch may have overstated the required repairs.
2. The Fairfield branch did not perform a thorough inspection.

I hope you will take this feedback seriously and address the discrepancies to maintain the trust of your customers. Transparent and consistent service across branches is crucial to ensuring customer satisfaction.
